That's the same date as my next fill! I can't wait! I have been stuck now for 4 whole weeks!!!

I am still at a stall and it is driving me crazy. Joined a gym and started working out. Totally changed my eating habits but the scales are just not moving. I am choosing better foods but still have an issue with portion control. I go on the 24th for my next fill. I only have 2cc right now.

Congratulations to you!!! You should be proud of that accomplishment. I've lost 25 and I've been stuck for a couple of weeks...weighing daily to just see an extra pound lost..lol.
-
I know that has to be so frustrating. I hope you come up with a solution.

Chili Relleno Casserole (eggface) is AMAZING!

That sounds awesome...will have to try! -
With my insurance (BCBS) I had to have a BMI higher than 35 with one co morbidity. If no co morbidity you had to be at a 40 BMI.

I would be doing cartwheels if I could loose 10-25 in a month...lol I get excited over a 1 pound weight loss.

Easiest psych clearance!
weneebug replied to erica2185's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Yes...600!!! She sat with me and asked me some questions and then I was taken to a different room where I had to take a 600 question written test. The kind you take in school where you fill in the bubble...lol 600???geesh she asked about 10 and that was it!! Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App -
Yall are making me jealous. I've only had one fill at 2cc and don't go back until January 24th....yall are so ahead of me!

Wow you are lucky...I probably spent 20 minutes talking to the doctor but I also had to go through a 600+ questionnaire! -
Intermittent pain on left side of abdomen
weneebug replied to cz.99's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was having the same issue. The way it feels to me is like if you were running and got what I call a stitch in your side. It doesn't happen as often as it did when I first had the surgery. Mine is usually when I am being active...walking around shopping, etc. I was thinking maybe gas also. -

Wouldn't that be awesome!!!! Eat constantly and stay skinny...oh boy what I wouldn't give for that again! -
I have set a ticker up on my profile but how do you get it to show up on your post?

Wondering how things go for those that don't really have any one on there side to help and guide you. I seam to be having some issues with the way my husband is reacting to my lap band surgery. I am honestly proud of myself. I have not made it a long way but just enough to feel good. I keep getting the price of my surgery thrown up in my face. I have so many other bills but have chose to make sure that I pay this one first. I honestly don't want to feel like I owe anyone. Wondering if anyone else feels the same way???

That was an awesome read...I actually had tears!!!

@bayougirlmrsc If you lived in Georgia I would swear that he was living a double life...lol We have been married 24 1/2 years. It's totally crazy that your husband threw your marriage away after 26 years because you improved for yourself. I hope it doesn't come down to that for me. I may eventually ask him about counseling if it continues but I am sure that he won't think that he needs it. I am not doing this for a man (him or any other man!)...I am doing this for ME!!! I absolutely hated the way I looked and was totally depressed. I felt embarrassed to go out because I always felt like everyone was looking at me and wondering "What the hell is he doing with her?" My self esteem had hit rock bottom and I can't wait for it to soar!
-
@bayougirlmrsc That's the funny thing...my insurance covered mine also so it's costing me about 2,000 as well. He seems to think that I am going to loose the weight and find someone else which is another punch in the gut because that's like saying you can't find anyone else now because you are fat (that's how it makes me feel). Now he has never been one to talk about my weight or degrade me...he has always been respectful of that. He knew that I hated myself at my size so he would always encourage me to exercise and diet. I'm not sure what the difference is now that I am doing it with the help of surgery. He has been real supportive of the way that I have had to eat since surgery. I just think it is an insecurity and I hope it doesn't get worse. I was 125 pounds when I met him so if I wanted him when I was that small why would that change when I get small again. I don't understand the logic.

@Banded_Beauty I only have 2 ccs. Just got them Tuesday so I am back on liquids again.
-
@banded_beauty How much have you lost all together? I see you had surgery a day after I did. Don't get me wrong...I am happy with any weight loss but was hoping it would go faster. I have lost 24 lbs to date (including post op).
-
I totally feel your pain. I went to the doctor yesterday and had only lost 3 pounds the last 4 weeks. I was so disappointed. Got my first fill yesterday also and still have no restriction. I am trying to hang in there.
-
@Banded_Beauty.... I totally feel your pain. I just had my first fill today but I have felt like I could eat anything. I had no restriction whatsoever. I only got 2cc today so I am not sure that is going to do much either. I have to wait 3 days before I can eat again and hope I may have some restriction. Hopefully you will do better after your 2nd fill.

I am just starting out (banded 10/31/16) but I am here today because of someone that I know that was banded 2 years ago. I have tried numerous diets, diet pills, WL doctors, you name it! When I saw how successful she was and talked to her about it...I started doing my research. Can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
