Not telling anyone. What do you say?
pixiesleeve replied to Ssze1109's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I couldn't do that. I choose to go public to help sleevers and non sleevers. I think its important to me that people understand that my sleeve helped me drop 104 pounds. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App -

I can't help u with that because i chose to go public about my sleeve. I need all the support that i can get. I have close family that are still closet sleevers and they hear me blabbing off about my journey. I see them and they don't seem so happy. Why do u feel staying in closet will benefit your sucess? I agree,..I'm 8 mo post op. I personally discovered my personal addiction to food when i started my pre liquid diet. I seriously didn't realize the magnitude of my addiction. I also didn't realize i was that huge!!! I recently held up my sz 28 shorts against my now sz 14 body and asked my husband.....why didn't u tell me i was this huge? He replied by saying. ..thats why i let u blow 18 thousand in 1 day. Lol..... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

Im a newbie 8 mo out. What i can say about getting sleeved is that i truly feel as if i had a brain transplant along with sleeve. From what i gather is that part of stomach removed is the part that creates a hunger hormone. Now all gone....i have no hunger. I don't crave. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

I got sleeved on 2-22-16. Like most of u i had major health issues. I was fortunate enough to have a family who supported my decision to sell our home and downsize. My husband never complained and allowed me to spend as much needed to get mamma healthy. I sold my house moved my kids out of the best school district into the worst in San Antonio. I follow my diet to a T. I refuse to be a bad statistic. I dedicate my progression to my family and my children. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App

The great thing about cutting out the decaf now is that headaches will all be gone post-surgery. You might never want to go back to caffeine again. I cut caffeine out of my daily regimen. I don't miss it. Nor do I miss my 104 pounds. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App -
Today I start my Liquid Diet (Day 1)
pixiesleeve replied to newjerseygirl60's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The first time I purchased my decaf from McDonalds. I returned it because I thought they made an error and gave me regular coffee. When they brought me the second cup I returned it again. It was too good to be true to be a decaf. McDonald's decaf rocks! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App -

I feel the same way. I'm on my 6th day of 21 and I am really struggling with it. Good luck with yours! Bed time is my favorite part of the day now! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I feel ya!! All this will soon be over. Take this one stage at a time. At this pount i was scared of how my life would be post sleeve. I thought it would be like this for lifetime and i didn't think I could make such a big lifestyle change. I remember calling my cousin who has had the sleeve to ask her if the hunger would ever end. She assured me to keep pushing forward. The hunger will end. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using the BariatricPal App -
