Hi everyone, As you know I did get my band on Friday. I have slept alot to get over the anesthesia. I am not in a whole lot of pain but I do have a question. Did anyone have any pain under their left boob sorta just below the rib cage? Could it be gas or just soreness from being cut? Other than that I feel wonderful. I am so excited now. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. -

Hi everyone, I hope that everyone has had a good weekend. Well I go for my surgery on Friday. I am excited but kinda nervous at the same time. I am trying so hard to not drink any more soda's. I love my diet coke though so it is hard. My husband said well at least now the diet coke truck can stop coming to the house. He thought he was being funny. I was wondering can someone tell me how to get the ticker? -

I called today and have a date for surgery of June 13. I am so happy. I am sure all of you have felt what I do right now. I had not heard of that zappy thing before so at least now if they do give me one I will be prepared. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day. -

I can't wait until tomorrow when I call make the appointment. I have to quit smoking now though. I am going sometime this afternoon to buy some patches to see if that will work. I used them before but stress got to me and I started back thinking I wouldn't eat as much if I was smoking well.... that didn't work obviously. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.:biggrin2: -

Hi everyone, I have been gone a while. I got discouraged because insurance turned me down. Anyway as of yesterday we have been able to get financing so I am going to call Dr. Bagnato's office on Monday. Can anyone tell me how long they were out of work? -

Hi, I am from Dothan, AL and I went to see Dr. Bagnato in January. I have BC/BS of AL. They didn't approve me for the surgery. They said that my BMI wasn't high enough in 05. My husband and I are considering going the self pay route. What I wanted to know is, has anyone had any problems with insurance covering any problems that aren't related to the lap band after self paying for it? -
I am from Alabama and have been to see Dr. Bagnato. However, BC/BS AL denied me. I am looking into the self pay option. I would like to know if anyone else has done self pay and then had a medical issue where insurance would not cover it because you had the lap band done.
