I forgot to add, During this ordeal, I did lose 5 lbs, not a pleasant way to lose though. I told my husband I lost 5 lbs of spit. LOL

I had the same thing. I went Tuesday morning for my 3rd fill. My dr. put me at 5cc’s. I drank my water fine. Left the dr. office and was driving home when I felt like I had to burp. I threw up, not only once but 4 times on my way home. Nothing went down not even my own saliva. I called my husband to come home and take me back to the dr. Dr. took out .5cc. I drank my water fine at the dr. but when I got home at evening I had some slim fast, it came right up. by this time the dr. office was closed and I didn’t think if I went to the emergency room no one there would know what to do. So I just suffered throwing up every 30 mins.all night long until the next morning, I called the dr.office and told them I was on my way back again. The dr. unfilled me, I have to wait until Nov 18th to get filled again.

Hello smaki, welcome and Congratulations! I was banded July7th and I have lost only 20lbs, I have only had 1 fill, scheduled for 2nd fill Sept 30th. I can’t wait to find that sweet spot. Keep in touch, Bee

I told me boss and coworkers I was getting stomach surgery and that I needed 3 weeks off. I have short term disability insurance so it wasnt a problem. No one asked anything else about the surgery. Now I am back working ( light duty ) everyone just ask how do I feel. I was banded July 7th.

I was banded on July 7th. So far counting the pre -opt liquid diet I have lost 15lbs. On July 22nd My doctor said it was too much to fast, he wanted me to eat small amounts more often. As of this morning, I have not lost anymore since July 22<SUP>nd</SUP>. I also have been eating correctly but I am slacking on the walking. I have only been walking 15 minutes to 20 minutes 3 days a week. My next doctors visit is Aug 19th. I could use some suggestions also.

Hi, i'm new here, I have my consult with the doctor tomorrow. I'm excited and I cant wait to get this started. I married 4 boys 3 grandkids. I have been overweight most of my adult life. I have been reading up on all the questions and answers everyone has posted. I too hope for good news from the doctor..:w00t: Bee :thumbup:

Hi Tina,Thank you all for the warm welcome. I live in Upper Marlboro. I will have one of the surgeons at Walter Reed. I have a long way to go before I get the surgery. Thursday I am going to the support group.

Thank you Susan and Kim, I go to a Support group meeting march 13th, then again 2nd thursday in April. Psy doctor Aprli 30th. then hopefully I can get a date for surgery. Bee
