Hello, I'm in Brea. I was banded on Feb 19th at Orange Coast Memorial with Dr Francis. I am having my first fill today. So far I've lost 15lb. :wink_smile: I would love to chat with others from Orange County. How are things going for you?

I didn't have any strips. They glued me closed.

Does anyone know why I am getting a pain in my back after eating? I was banded on Feb 19th. I am eating very slowly and chewing, chewing, chewing but sometimes I get a pain right in the between my shoulder blaids. I have not had any fills yet so I don't know if maybe I am sometimes eating too much????

Dancinglamb I was banded on a tuesday and returned to work the following monday. As long as you are just sitting you will be fine.

Yes we do have a lot in common. Where did you have your surgery done? I went to Dr Francis at Orange Coast Memorial in Fountian Valley. How are you doing so far with everything?

Hey Sassy, I love Dr Francis too. I am going to get my first fill on April 2nd. I can't wait. I am hungry all the time so I am hoping that a fill will help with that. How long have you had your band?

Hi OC bandsters. I was banded on Feb 19th by Dr Francis. She works out of Orange Coast Memorial Hospital. I live in Whittier and work in Brea.

I got banded on Feb 19th. I am going in for my post op dr appointment tomorrow. I can't wait to see how much I've lost. I was only on pain meds for 4 days post op. I have stiches but they are the kind that disolve. No bandages. I am still on liguids mostly protein drinks, soup, yogurt, jello. I do eat 4oz of malt o meal for breakfast and 4oz protein shake. I like Carnation Inst Breakfast and add a scoop of protein powder. Lunch is soup and 4oz of protein shake and dinner is mashed potatoes or soup and more protein shake. Jello, apple sause or yogert inbetween. Have you been banded yet?

What happened to you to have to stay in the hospital for so long? I just got banded on Feb 19th. I am still on the liquid stage and am starving all the time. I go in for my post op visit this week. I hope the doctor can tell me why I am so hungry all the time.
