Good luck! Let us know how you do!
  2. Are you planning to be pregnant again? If so, please speak with your physician about how to proceed. Good luck!

    Drinking Water

This is very common. I was sleeved two years ago and still find plain water uncomfortable. Crystal Light for me. Good luck!

    Finally!

    Congratulations!

    2 days Post-Op Question

Since I had sleeve surgery more than two years ago, I've struggled to stay hydrated. Drink up but don't chug. Good luck!

    Drains?!?

    I didn't.

    New normal

That entirely depends on the person.

    Slurpee 7 days post opp

You probably haven't broken anything, if that's what you're worried. But maybe don't do that again. Good luck.

    Sleeping on Stomach

Each person is a bit different. I started sleeping on my stomach again the second day after surgery. It just depends. Good luck.

    Gained weight on purpose?

In my opinion you're going down a very difficult path. Please reconsider.

    HELP

The phase you're in was one of the hardest for me. Consider changing your state. I'm not suggesting you move out of your house. :-) What I mean is that when you're thinking about food, recognize it, and purposely start doing something else. Just about anything else. Take a walk, read a book, do your favorite hobby, contribute here, etc. Talk with other people. Tell them what you're going through. Ask for help. You can do this!

    Help!

These are good suggestions. Also ask your surgical team if they have any strategies you can use. Good luck!
  13. You're doing great! Just keep at it!

    Don't want to regain

You've identified your own problem. You don't want to regain but you're cheating. Find ways to fix the problem and you'll fix your outcome. Good luck!
  15. I love Isopure with coffee Protein powder first thing in the morning before Breakfast or actual coffee. Protein plus a little caffeine is a powerful way to start the day! https://www.amazon.com/Isopure-Coffee-Protein-Powder-Espresso/dp/B00B7YK45Y?th=1

    Mental Illness & WLS

These are all good questions. Please talk with your psychiatrist about them. Consider framing the discussion as you wanting to have surgery and asking that person how they can help you succeed. Discussing it that way puts the onus on your psychiatrist to help you rather than you asking that person if it's okay to have the surgery. It's a subtle distinction and I hope it serves you well! Let us know how it goes!

    PreOp Liquid Diet

The pre-op liquid diet was the hardest phase for me. Each person is different, though. Good luck! You can do this!
  20. You're getting a lot of varied responses, from 20 minutes to 3 hours. Mine was an hour or so. Relax, breathe, and do what you need to do, no matter how long it takes. Good luck!

What to bring to the hospital

I saw that YouTube video about GasX strips also. I took a bunch to the hospital and didn't need a single one. Each of us is different. Consider taking a light book containing your favorite inspiration. Instead of staring at your phone for hours, give yourself a break and read something else. Or maybe listen to an audio book.
  22. You're doing great! We're proud of you!
  23. What's past does not have to be prologue! Good luck!

    Olive oil

As long as you're not chugging olive oil, some in moderation should be fine. I can't think of any one food, eaten once, that would derail or disqualify someone from having weight-loss surgery.
  25. Breathe. Repeat. You can do this!
