Banded on 3/24/08 have lost 48lbs since the liquid diet 10 days before. My problem is that I have some arthritis in my lower back but now my left hip is constantly bothering me in the evening hours. Has this happened to anybody else, and what did you do/take for the pain that does'nt upset/corrode our tiny pouches. Thanks for any help.

Hey Heavy, How long before you were back on the job? I've been thinking of just taking 2 weeks before I go back. I havn't had my follow up yet but I'm hoping my Dr will give me the ok.

Tony, banded Mar 24/08. Hampton Roads Va. Banded by Dr Clark at the Surgery Weight Loss Center in Newport News Va. looking forward to dropping the weight.

I was banded 5 days ago, still in a little pain, but doing ok. I've continued to drink the protein shakes I was drinking before surgery and seldom find myself hungry now. Sometimes I drink something because I have to. Has this happened to anybody else? Another thing, I think I've had a sweatshirt on since I got home from the hospital and that is so unlike me. Thanks
