You will likely be post-op when you read this but I believe taking decisive action to improve your health is important. It is not going to self correct. Last November 2016 I had my sleeve surgery. Was I nervous the night got before? You bet. Now 9 months later, I know I made the right decision. I am now at 175 and holding steady. I no longer take medication for high blood pressure and am no longer pre-diabetic. When I retire. In my opinion you are fighting to cure yourself from one of our societies greatest health problems. Congratulations!

Hello I had my surgery November 16 of 2016. It was the best decision of my life I don't recall what I was it two months but 4 months post surgeryI have a lost 70 pounds. I lost 20 pounds before the surgery and 50 pound sense. I feel so much better physically and mentally that I cannot describe how great it is. I am happy and I can honestly say I was not happy for years prior to the surgery. My self-confidence is much higher than it ever has been. The first two days post surgery for the worst and trust me you can handle it. I am a big baby and with the medication they gave me it was no problem. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
