Hi Penny - I wish I could tell you that it went away for me after my fills - but I've had 3...and I'm still in the same boat as you are (I type this as I chug my crystal light)! But - I hope you are different and that after 1 fill you are restricted as restriction can be! I have my next fill on thursday and my fingers are crossed!

Hey Y'all! Thank you for your posts. Definitely making me feel better. I am just so frustrated with myself. Grrrrr...not TOM time - just had that but I really think I'm just impatient with the fact that I think I had some restriction after the first fill and now it's gone...so I wanted to "test" the band and since I didn't feel anything...I just kept on eating, and eating and eating! I'm going to ask the nurse to give me a "big fill" on Thursday when I go in. Not sure they will - but doesn't hurt to ask!!! Thank you all - your support means the world to me!

i've had 3 fills, am at 6.5cc's in my 10cc band and i have not pb'd yet - and i eat chicken, fish, steak...all with no problems. i chew my food very well - and i don't drink while i eat or after. i do not eat pasta or bread or rice - but i don't miss them. i don't feel like i've given anything up. :biggrin:

agreed with the poster above - as long as you feel ok, i wouldn't worry. it's all about how you are feeling - and it's a great thing that you were good and blended it. :biggrin:

I'm not sure what it stands for - but I know it means to throw up your food. At least I hope that's what it means - or else I've been wrong for a long time!

I'm sooo jealous. I almost want to PB or "slime" just so I know that I really have a band in me!!! :sad_smile:

Hello - an update from me - banded 3/4...no pre-op diet. lost 21 lbs so far...trudging along!

i've have had 3 fills (6.5cc's in a 10cc band) and still am not restricted. No PBing, no sliming...and almost want it to happen so I know the band is working! for those of you who are at restriction, how many cc's do you have in what size band?

i don't think there is any rule - but i traveled fine with no problems the week after surgery for business.

it took me about a week before i did...but now i sleep on my right side, left side, backside, frontside! (banded 3/4/08)

I'm definitely going to try it and post about it in my blog. Crab meat...bay shrimp...cheeeeeseeeee!!!! Oooh my!

Hi Destynee!!! No way - that's sooo fantastic! The dill one is AMAZING! It melts in your mouth like pure bliss. You will love it - ahhh - I want it right now! I'm heading back to TJ's this weekend and am going to stock up on them. I didn't see the Salmon Belle Mer but I'm going to look for it. :thumbup:

i would just be up front and matter of fact. i know it's hard, but i try to keep the emotions out of it and it always seems to be easier. i'm sure you'll do great!

I was only on liquids for 7 days then mushies. I think every doc is a bit different.

I was at NWWLS in Everett WA and they are AMAZING!
