i'm a week and a half past surgery and was told that if i can mash it with a fork, i can eat it. i've been doing tuna fish, halibut, soft boiled eggs, hummus, oatmeal, etc. i'm sure you are just fine! -
i was banded a little over a week ago and have been documenting everything in my blog Lise The Loser’s Weblog you will do wonderfully - i already feel a million times better!!!

I found out a week before my surgery date that I had to lose 5 lbs...i ate like a mad woman for 3 days then did a 4 day liquid diet and came out at 4 lbs down...it all ended up good in the end. -

I have the same pain and went to the doctor yesterday for my post op - he told me it's normal and is from the muscles they sew the port into and I should not worry about it. I'm sure it's the same with you but you might want to call you doc just to make sure. :drool: -

Definitely call your doctor. It's probably nothing but he/she will be glad you called them - that's what you paid them for and that's exactly what they are there for! -

check out my blog (you'll need to click on the calendar on the right side and start with the 4th of march) - i've documented everything with pictures from the beginning to today from my surgery!!! it was such an amazing experience - but like you i was so nervous. i know you'll be just fine! -

i started my pre-op 3 days before surgery (slimfast) and lost 4 lbs and everything went absolutely amazing well! i know you'll be just fine. i worried too - but it was for nothing. :drool:
