    What are pros and cons?!

I can only speak for myself, but it's the best decision I've made. I wish I had done the sleeve 10 years ago. The first few days post op have some soreness, but very doable! I'm five weeks out, back at the gym for cardio and able to do more than I could even before surgery (and I lost 50 pounds pre-op). It's always a personal decision to go forward with surgery, but for me it was definitely the right thing to do. Hope this helps and good luck.
  2. I have severe sleep apnea and had no issues with anesthesia or surgery. HW 338 SW 293 CW 278 Sleeve 10/31/16
  3. Glad to hear you got home OK... Sounds like you are on your way to a great recovery.
  4. They should have made you stay at least one night @@Shay Wells. This is major surgery- I cannot imagine going home same day.

    38 lbs lost since 6/21/2016!

Isn't that a great feeling! My highest weight (that I got on the scale for) was 338 in May '16, on surgery date, I weighed 290 ( Halloween '16)- all from following the eating recommendations for post op and starting at the gym - mostly treadmill and some weights. It certainly makes you feel more in control.
  6. Going home today! Was approved for 2 nights in the hospital, the second night makes all the difference. Holding down fluids, little nausea, but it took 2.
  7. Thank you Rosey Posey!
  8. I am having my surgery done tomorrow @ 10:15 @ CHRIAS in Delaware, but live in Maryland. Good luck to you!
