Liquids for 2 weeks: How Did You Do It?????

I lived on suger free popsicles it feels like you are eating because you actually get to chew I swear I had about 5 a day -
So I have now been able to eat solids for two days and already I have gained back two pounds I am so upset. I dont even go for my first fill till june 4th by then I will gain everything back how do I keep it off do I stay on a liquid diet?:sad_smile:

Well I had my first meal today it was a tuna sandwich w/salad it was soooooooooooo good I had no problems with getting it down. I think the hardest thing was not being able to drink with my meal. I am also having so much guilt about eating since I have been on liquids for so long I am scared to death to put on the 17 pounds that have come off. Can I just do shakes in the morning and lunch and stick w/one meal a day?

I get to eat solids in two days yeah! I know we have to have three meals a day does each meal have to contain a protein a carb fruit and greens? I am confused can I have oatmeal for breakfast a salad for lunch then a normal meal at dinner? I have to be at work at 6 in the morning so I need something on the run any helpful hints and in between can I have a protein shake because my dr. said no snacking in between

Help I am 10 days post and I am sick of liquids I am getting so confused they said I can eat creamy soups but they said if I can't drink it then dont eat it well which on is it I am getting burnt out on broth and popsicles someone help me please:cursing:

what is cream of wheat is that like oatmeal or malt o meal what section do I find them in the store. I will try anything

Just got back yesterday from Mexico had my Lab Band on the 19th. I am feeling good alot of gas. I am having a hard time with food all around me I keep telling my self it is all worth it!

Hi there I got bandded on the 19th I am having trouble breathing in deep still and the tightness in your chest is the gas try gas x strip from walmart. Hope you are doing well

Does anyone know why we have to lose 8 to 10 pounds before the surgery? If you do not lose it will they not do the surgery? I am having a hard time losing the weight and my surgery is next wed. Help!:confused2:

:confused2:I am a mail carrier and am suppose to return to work in 1 week I lift heavy trays and parcels will I be okay to do this or will I be in pain. I am only allowed one week off.

Kris I am very scared to I have my date set for the 19th to be banded I am having it done in mexico by Dr. Ortiz he was on Oprah just a heads up I am having my consult on the same day of my surgery. I am not sure where you live. But also in Mexico it is half the price of what you said you were paying if intrested visit Dr. Ariel Ortiz web site so many people from the us go there.
