Hey everyone! My surgery date is coming up soon (Nov 9th) and I'm looking for anyone else that's having surgery around the same time. I'd love to have some surgery buddies to text/message throughout the process. I don't really use FB but I'm on Instagram (same name) if anyone wants to be friends there! As a bonus if there's anyone that's also pre-op in Chicago, I'd love to chat. I'm going through Northwestern Memorial with Dr. Fronza. Thanks! Christina Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Oh gosh, that's such an awkward day to start but it'll be worth it! You'll be able to make up for it next Halloween Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I use Jarrow unflavored whey Protein. Each scoop is 20g of protein, I believe. I add it to my smoothies and can never taste it. Haven't tried it in anything else yet but so far so good. Bought it on Amazon for about $25-30. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have to do two weeks but at least it's not a liquid diet so I can deal! It's just a low carb-high protein one. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi Liz! That's so awesome that we're having the same procedure on the same day! Are you required to do a pre-op diet? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How long does it usually take to get surgery date?

I had my very first consult in may and I'm having surgery on November 9th! So I'd say 6 months is probably accurate and the average it seems. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
