    I'm so tired!!!

I, too, am exhausted! By 3pm, my body is just done for the day. I get very discouraged by it, but I understand that its a result of the surgery and the lowered calories. I just wish I could go a day without feeling like I could fall out in the afternoon.
  2. I am a week and a half out from being sleeved. The only people who knew were my husband and 2 close friends. I only just told my dad, because he wanted to go to lunch and am still on the liquid phase. All have been very supportive. My dad was glad I didn't tell him prior to surgery. He says he would have worried about it. Lol! I haven't decided what to do when people start asking about my weight loss. I guess I'll just play it by ear!
  3. I was sleeved on 4/17 and they repaired a small hiatal hernia at that time. I didn't even know I had one!
  4. I took jammies, but ended up just wearing the gown. It was so much more convenient and more comfortable, in my opinion!
  5. I was sleeved 4/17 and was on mine. No catheter, but had to wear the disposable undies and pad!
  6. It has helped me to focus on the amazing fact that I'm not even hungry than to look at meals as something I'm missing out on. Helped me get through lunch with my dad yesterday. He had pizza. I had water. The pizza looked so good, but I didn't even crave a bite. What a wonderful tool!
  7. What a great inspirational post! I was sleeved 4/17. Defiantly had doubts and fears leading up to surgery. It helps to know that others have been there too. Keep up the good work!

    Day one post op

I was sleeved on 4/17. The first day home was a little rough. But I am feeling pretty good now! Getting all of my fluids in has been challenging, but so far I've managed. I only had lovenox in the hospital. The worst thing now is sneezing. If I sneeze it feels like my insides might fall out!

    April sleevers!?

Hi all! I was sleeved on the 17th and got to go home on the 18th. So far, I'm very sore but feeling much better than I expected! Working on getting my fluids in. My doc wants a minimum of 40oz liquids/day this first week. It's a challenge, for sure. Good luck to everyone!

    Fibromyalgia and Sleeve

I also have fibro. In talking with my primary physician, she indicated that there may be some worsening in pain initially. I get sleeved on 4/17. Hoping for some pain relief from the fibro as I lose weight!
  11. Tomorrow begins my 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Not gonna lie.... I am scared. Not of surgery, but of how well I will tolerate this next phase. I'm scared I will fail. I'd appreciate any insight on what to expect and how to cope with challenges from those who have been there already. Thank you in advance!

    April sleevers!?

My date is April 17. I start my pre-op diet on Monday. Feeling just a little terrified!
