I just had surgery I booked through BariatricPal Team MX with Dr Illan. Awesome Dr and the service was better than state side. It cost $4400 for the surgery compared to my local Dr at $14,254. Started pre-op 3 weeks ago, surgery last week and total loss in 3 weeks of 30lbs

I didn't finish the shake by 2 oz. For lunch I pulled out the yogurt mixture I made. It took about 1.5 hours to get 8oz. But the stomach was ok with it! Tonight will be cream of chicken soup. -

With my clear liquid diet, I am only getting about 100 cal / day and no real protein. I have jello legs. Tomorrow I start full liquids which includes protein shakes. I want to start tonight, but I am not hungry -

Ok...so, it's getting real. I have completed 1 week of the pre-op diet. It's going well and have dropped 13lbs. Tonight I tried a different Soup and totally regret it. I feel like my taste buds are already changing. So, this time next week. I will almost be landing in San Diego and the next morning, off to see Dr. Illan. Can't wait!
