Hello all. I am trying to find anyone who had or used Dr. Iqbal for their surgery. I have completed the packet of appointments and tests that needed to be completed after my initial appointment and I am not sure what happens now. If anyone who has had him would comment and explain how their timeline went I would appreciate it.

Hello all. My surgery is in 15 days which means tomorrow I start my dreaded 2 week liquid diet. I know the diet is intended for shrinking your liver but I know that it can also cause rapid weight loss. Anyone who has been on the liquid diet(2 weeks) how much weight did you lose? I had my first appointment yesterday with my surgeon. Dr. Iqbal in Vineland, NJ. He's a very wonderful guy. Per my insurance I need to have 3 nutrition appointments, 3 support group meetings, a psych eval, blood work, and a letter from my doctor. I can only have one nutrition and support meeting a month so this will take at least 3 months. I'm so nervous but so ready for this to be here. I've already scheduled everything and I'm getting blood work done asap. I also have to have a sleep study done on 11/22. Any others in NJ starting out? Let's be each other's support. Hi all! I have my psych appointment tomorrow and I'm scared that they will "fail" me. I have anxiety now and I'm scared they will tell me I can't have surgery due to that or that they will give me trick questions. What were you asked? How long was the appointment for you? Hello all. My name is Nicolette and I am so excited for my journey to begin. I have Horizon NJ Health Insurance and I have my 1st appt with Dr. Iqbal in Vineland tomorrow.
