I am so happy I got this surgery. It was painful and the leakage tube they stick in me caused the most, I am starting to feel better and I'm still overwhelmingly excited for this journey! And I go home today!

Girl you gotta keep your eye on the prize. This surgery is a tool, but if you can't keep yourself from reaching for what hurts you, the surgery won't work. So before I even knew I wanted the surgery, I took vitamins. They made me feel great. But I had to stop them a week prior to my surgery, and it's taking a toll. My throat is sore and feels swollen, the pressure im my head is ridiculous. I'm drinking copious amounts of water to try to counter act but I feel just awful, when just a few days ago I was on top of the world! My immune system has completely seemed to stop working. I have no fever as of right now, but it's Sunday and my surgery is Wednesday! Did anyone else experience this?! Does it stop? Will I feel better? I am so excited. Holy cow. I started this journey about a year ago. and now there is just a measly 15 days left! How am I going to sleep the night before? What pajamas am I going to wear?! These are such happy questions I don't mind asking myself over and over again. I know when i start my pre-op diet tomorrow, I will probably be singing a different tune, but today I'm on cloud nine that its coming true. Ive never been so ready to do something hard before. I know its going to be a struggle, but now I'm going to be digging a hole with a shovel instead of a spoon. Thank God. I'm so excited.

It is okay! This is a lifestyle change forever. It's not going to be easy and I believe in order for it to stick, we have to gradually change. I think if I could have lost weight alone, I wouldn't need this surgery in the first place. So I'm weak. But this surgery will make me stronger. So don't beat yourself up for falling. i would definitely just like to start off by saying I bought the airfryer today, and this thing is the coolest thing ever. Not only does it look like a Futuristic Egg incubator, but the food is delicous. So I started my liver shrinking diet today. Ive had a headache since around 1pm. but i can't help but say how my excitement makes this headache seem so small! I've taken all my measurements and i'm hype. So on the liver shrinking diet I can have 2 protein shakes, four ounces of chicken, a yogurt, and unlimited non starchy vegetables. So I wanted chicken nuggets so i cut up a four ounce raw chicken breast into little tiny pieces( and did absolutely nothing to them, no seasoning or breading or anything!) and put them in the airfryer for about fifteen minutes on 380 and those babies got so golden and crispy, but the inside was tender and delicious. This airfryer is serious so amazing, i'm so happy i got it. I saw it as a gift and investment in myself and its time i start doing that more often. but 10/10 would recommend this air fryer. so healthy and delicious,
