    Question?

Maderma...or ask ur Doc or a Rx for "Scarderma" Works well
  3. Cheri- You are definitely doing the right thing. By taking your meds, and paying attention to your body, you will be on your way to recovering from what sounds like to me an infection. If the firm tenderness is located on a incision site, I would say it definitely is an infection, therefore, the keflex(cephalexin) should make you feel better in 24-48 hours. You ABSOLUTELY have to follow up with your Doctor on Tuesday or sooner if available. Remember, there are 3 sure signs indicative of infection: heat/warmth, redness/erythema, tenderness/pain. Also, I am assuming your surgery was done laparoscopically, with 4-5 "keyhole" incisions. If this is true, then the chances of the surgeons leaving an instrument or gauze in you are VERY slim. Remember to try to drink plenty of water. Have you checked your temperature? Do bed rest. Best of luck, I know you'll be fine since youre doing the right thing. Rosina
  4. Anytime there is heat to an area, it is usually indicative of infection...please contact your Doctor. Also, the pain should not be that intense, I mean, c'mon..."bees stinging you"?? I'm a nurse (literally) and it just doesnt sound good.
