Yes! My Vitamin D,B-12 and iron were all very low.My nurse practioner immediately stareted me on meds to bring my levels up to where they need to be. I'll have my levels checked again at my next visit to make sure they've come up.Thats probably what they'll do in your case as well.I feel alot better since I started the vitamins. Me and my sister are doing surgery together to! We are still pre-op and not sure which one will be first..But its nice to have someone close to you going through the same thing on this journey.You know your reasons for having surgery and thats all that matters . I've been set on having a sleeve since I made the decision to have surgery.I don't have my first appointment with my surgeon until Feb. 3rd.I know its his decision on which one he thinks is better for me..Bypass makes me nervous, ( I think it's the whole re-routing thing)Has anyone have this happen? Yes! Thank you so much..When my sister brought the question up. (We are doing this together )I asked her what she would do and without hesitation she said...have the bypass!
