Yippeeee Patty's gonna help with my tree. Hmmm maybe then I'd get it done aye? So my son said he'd help me but, he's working today until 3pm. So I guess it's going naked again until tomorrow. I have to do some Holiday Shopping but, like Kat I'm wondering what crowds I'm gonna hit at Walmart. My son works at the mall but, I got myself in trouble droppin him off. I went to try to find a holiday dress for my DH's work party because nothing fits in my closet. (Good thing but bad at the same time lol) Anywho...I didn't get past the perfume counter at Macy's I'm really sensitive to perfumes so it's very difficult to find one that doesn't give me a migraine. I had the greatest luck with a clerk last winter who pointed me to Givinchy's Organza Indecence. Nice...spicy toned perfume. I've gotten so many compliments on it and it's one I can wear with no trouble. WELLLL I'm running out and they don't sell it anymore What is a girl gonna do? So I asked the same clerk for help and he pointed me to Burberry's London perfume. Smelled great...didn't really tingle my nose (sign I'd get a migraine) so of course I purchased myself a Christmas gift. Now I'm debating on keeping it or not I shouldn't of spent that money on myself when I have others to buy for. I live with such guilt buying myself stuff...why is that? Is that a mother's thing? Is that from growing up knowing things were so tight and you'd see your momma cry every time your siblings asked for a toy and she had to say no. I know I never asked her because I saw that too many times. Oh boy...the holidays bring such good and depressing feelings sometimes. Anywho....I'm keeping the box closed....I may end up bringing it back just don't know hmmmmmm. Well need to go clean up a bit now..can't even walk in my bedroom with all the clothes and bags around UGH. Got DH some really nice sweatshirts at Kohls midnight sale. Nice embroidered eagle on one and an embroidered fish on another. Now I never feel guilty buying him or my DS anything lol Oh well. Talk with ya soon gals. Maybe we can work out a night to chat in the chatroom before the holidays. hugs!

Hello Laphappy my answers below in blue. 1. Do you have to have a naked pre surgery photo taken, I have heard of this on other threads and it's enough to make me cancel the surgery ! They don't take a naked picture or any picture that I know of but, you should definately do it for yourself with underwear or tighter fitting clothing. Do that just so you can compare it as you're losing and see the difference. I highly recommend doing that. 2. When did you get to go home post-op, noonish, later? I know it will vary but I wanted to give my family some idea. I went home around 3pm the next day. 3. Did you have an NG tube going from your nose to your stomach when you woke up? No tube for me when I woke up. Just the intrevenous. 4. Did they give you an abdominal binder elastic girdle thingy afterwards? No abdominal binder for me. 5. Any pain medication prescriptions when you were discharged, or just Tylenol? yes Dr. Jones does prescripe meds you pick up at the pharmacy on your way home. I took it for about 3.5 days then switched to Tylenol because the pain meds were making me sick. Good luck with your surgery! See you on the banded side soon!

Eileen I'm so sorry about your friend's DH. It's never easy losing someone and even harder when it's a total surprise like that...terrible I lost a friend who was 28 when I was 28. Aweful. I'm keeping you, your family and friend in my prayers. Bean - hahaha you must have the same tree. Thats the ONLY reason why I have lights on my tree lol.

Tree still not decorated....no presents wrapped....yeap I'm fallin behind...ho ho ho hee hee. I'll catch up..taking next Wed-Friday off. Got to see the Bariatric Surgeon next Wed. Don't think I'll be doing a fill this time around...been having a problem the past couple of days with Protein and PBing...errr plus. Yet at the same time I can sometimes feel a bite of food move from my pouch into the lower stomach like kerplop. Go figure. I'm still losing weight....not suffering as much as when I first got the fill...I really feel like I need to train myself now to not overeat and not count so much on the fill...if that makes sense. I don't want to go another 4 months without seeing the doc though so if he won't agree to see me in 2 then I may just get a slight fill like .25. We'll play this by ear and see what happens next week. work was ok today...still busy but, the replacement supervisors met with the staff while I was out yesterday and basically told them all questions are to go to them first. So they've taken that step to let the staff know they are now the bosses. It helped quite a bit today. Now I need to train them on some of the processes we have to do but, as usual some of those processes changed last month so I'm still learning them myself. Oh forgot to tell ya....went to a Christmas Tree display thing in Providence RI. It was kind alike a craft fair/auction. There were crafters to buy things from but, also you could bid on the fully decorated trees as part of charity. If you won they came to set the tree up in your house. Hmmm should of bid on one maybe my tree would be done hahahaha. Have a great night everyone...sweet dreams and hope you have a wonderful Thursday.

Howdy y'all...worked from home so I got a heck of a lot more accomplished than I would of at the office but, never enough lol. I wish I could of completed more but, oh well...everything takes time to research. Anywho...uneventful Tuesday cept I didn't get to go dancin with Chrispy because my appointment ran pretty late and I was exhausted after. Tomorrow DH has an appointment so looks like the gym will have to wait until Thursday. Maybe if I'm thinking....I'll get on my dang bike and move my ars for at least 30 minutes...or decorate my tree...or sumtin Cindy - 3 pounds deary is far from "little". You're doing fabulouso missy. I think that's great! Eileen - Favorite song aye...hmmm....I love them all but I guess my favorite would be....Hark the harold angels sing, glory to the new born king, peace on earth and mercy mild, lord and sinners reconcile, Joyful all ye nations rise, join the chorus of the skys, with angelic host proclaim Christ was born in Bethlehem or perhaps.....Joy to the world, the savior reigns, let Earth receive her King! Oh I don't know do I hafta pick one hee hee Darcy - Did you band slip? Was I sleepin and missed something? I hope you're ok. Bean - I hope ya don't get a full blow cold. Take some of that AirBorne stuff it works great! Right now is the time to take it though...when you're first feeling the cold. Anne - Wowee tree decorated AND doing popcorn and cranberries. Can I persuade you to make some extra and mail it hee hee. I have the tree up but, no decorations I'll get them up just in time to take back down UGH. Ivan - weird things can be bought on ebay for sure. Now...it says the money has to be sent in advance...wonder what the chances are that why ya showed up in Germany that the doctor even exhists :guess Mail order surgery...pretty scarey thought. Hope all is going well for ya. Vegge - Believe me when I say..you're not the only one that got lost when the new threads starts hahaha. I'm usually lost for days until it dawns on me the reason I'm not getting updates from LBT is because duhhh they moved on to the next months chat. Welcome to December. Mary - What the heck did you do to your neck and shoulder? I usually do that when I get a new pillow hee hee. Hope you're feeling better soon. Betty - It's been REALLY cold here. NE weather is tough but I love it. Just a few days ago we were at 60 degrees and yesterday SNOW lol. Today it was bitter cold but clear and tonight it's boogie freezin cold. hahah You know when you walk out and zing frozen lol (was my favorite Calvin and Hobbs comic lol.) Kat - boy...you certainly are kept busy Sounds like your DD's ex is jealous hmmmm what a shame. Anyway I do hope everything goes smoothly with that and I'm glad your DD had a good time. I've never been to Vegas.....someday when I'm ready to part with some of my money on a machine I'll go lol Patty, Pat, Chrispy, Allison, Mandy HELLLLLOOOOOOO. Well...tomorrow is hump day Wednesday and I have to help entertain a client after hours. Another late day....chat wit ya soon goils and guy

Hmmm I'm with Cindy and Chris on the theories So much from the Sherry's peanut gallery huh? Well work is work....typical, busy, crazy and I can't wait until the weekend. Why do I wish my life away with wanting the week to pass by so quickly? Seriously...that's just crazy isn't it but, most people do it lol. Oh...and has anyone figured out the sizing of underwear yet? heh heh VS...this butt never fit into that stuff. Ohhh to have something sexy and to look hot in it...a gal can dream :Banane17: Ok so I went to the gym today...got back about an hour ago. DH did something that kinda help boost my realization of how much weight I've lost. He put 70 pounds on a weight machine and told me to lift it and I couldn't...I couldn't pull it with all my might to lift it. He said...now just think YOU CARRIED THAT for years. All I could do is smile and think WOW...gotta love the man for helping boost my spirits and keep me going :Banane48: He's going to help me reach my goal of ONEDERLAND by New Years. Keep your fingers cross goils I'm gonna go for it!
-
hidey ho goils! Just got back from the gym and man I can feel it. Tomorrow I'll probably be an achin girl hahaha. That's ok gotta get rid of these chicken flapper wings...although I think it's going to take more than building muscle to do it. Got in some cardio on the treadmill, I even jogged on it for about a minute hahaha that's all I could handle because I'm not the most co-ordinated person. THANK GOD for the handles on the things lol. Hubby got a nice workout too. It's great doing that together so we can encourage each other. Chris how is the fill behaving? Is it helpin ya. welcome CrazyCran! Dez - that eatin fast thing is hard to break for sure! learning the hard way isn't fun either but, I think we all do it from time to time. Talk to Jones and the nutrionists and see if they think you're ready for that fill Well....off to peek around to see what's going on. If I missed anyone my apologies :Banane17: Deb - Next time it's my turn to meet ya hahaha. January sounds good to me too. Nana - Keep ya chin up and keep pluggin away like Chris said. One day at a time is the best any of us can do and positive thoughts I'm sending your way.
-
Hey Goils...sorry I've been MIA. Been so dang busy with work, dancing with Chris, the occassional gym trip and moving the in-laws into their new home that I just haven't had time to post and when I have...I'm too pooped. lol. Congrats on your fill Chris. I had the same thought when he put that first fill in. Of course I got him so nervous having two of us in the room at the same time that he didn't know if he put 1 or 1.5 in so we called it 1.25. Craziness. To this day I can't really say what I have in there lol. You just WATCH how quick the weight falls off the next few weeks! I actually like going back to basics with the liquid then mushies. Kinda keeps us in check ya know? No fill for Deb huh? You're doing so well without one...is that why Doc hasn't given you one? Are you still really restricted since surgery? Nana - How are you? You doing ok? Hey Dez - How are you? What's new? Hello Kay - Congrats on the great Tday work. Its not easy pre-banded to not overdo it. Pat yourself on the back for that! Well...lets see....what's new? OMG I can't believe I'm freaking 7 pounds away to being in ONDERLAND. I haven't been there in well over 16 years! I've got my butt into size 18 jeans from a size 26/28 and I'm fitting into some XL shirts...ooooooo I can't wait for the 16s in jeans and regular L shirts so I can SHOP anywhere for clothes. Oh won't that be nice! Keeping my fingers crossed and getting my butt to the gym!!!!
-
Goooo Crispy and Anne...good lucks with the fills girls. Let the weightloss begin I'm going back and forth on a fill for myself in Dec. I'm schedule to see the doc on the 13th. Just noticing now that I'm able to get more down than I used to...sometimes thats a good thing...sometimes it's not lol. I'll know better in Dec....might be that edge I need though to get me below 200 by NewYears. Did he get you with one poke Chris? I told ya he won't do just 1cc lol. not with the first fill anyway. I'll be interested to know when you get your 2nd fill how much he pulls out before he puts it back in? Hmmm maybe you'll solve my mystery lol

One day down....4 more to go and boy did I let it rip at work today. I have two bosses old and new so I let the old one know that I can't keep up with the work right now. Training two new supervisors, 3 new people of which one isn't making it, trying to answer the accounts questions, so many projects behind grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I was antsy today. So we're suppose to all meet - old boss, new boss, old account manager, two new supers to figure out how the hell we're going to transition all this and have I heard when we're suppose to meet...NOPE grrrrrrrrrrr Anywho....so how's it going y'all? hahaha I didn't make my pretzels yet. No energy after moving the in-laws in. DH and I soooo need some time alone. DS is going with his dad this weekend, in-laws are settled into their new place so looks like it might happen this weekend. Yeap PEACE AND QUIET ohhh baby. First time there hasn't been anyone else in the house for over 3 months. If I'm lucky we'll get snowed in heh heh. Darcy - So sorry you're having trouble with the new van. Can ya do the lemon law thing or is it not to that point yet? Gosh that's terrible to have a new car and have trouble. Friends of ours have Hyndai..those SUV things. They love them and have had good luck. I do hope you're problems with yours get resolved...so sorry. Bean - Oh I want a weekend like you just had I can't blame ya for resting. Work is nuts enough for you so take those weekends and enjoy them :clap2: Eileen - Wow I'm with Cindy...did you get a strep test? I do hope you feel better soon. Glad to hear your back is doing better. Are ya done shoppin for Christmas yet? Cindy - 18 more days...wowza girl. That's going to happen faster than ya know it. So this is going to happen before Christmas huh? ohhhh I'm jealous Are you going to work doing something else after you retire from teaching or are you going to pick up a nice hobby Anne - Holy smokes you're better than me with the patience. If I were paying for a nice getaway I certainly would of had something to say with that place. I have two goldens and believe me they shed but, holy smokes my plates and food don't have fur all on and in them ewwwwwwwwww. I would cry false advertising and leave! My car sounds cleaner than that place geesh! God bless ya! Glad you enjoyed your time away though. I guess next time your sister wins and ya stay at a hotel huh? Kat - What happened to your computer? My DH fixes them for a living...cripe he'd be willing to listen to what happened to it and help your DH a bit if he can over the phone. Any of you ladies just need to call me or pm me and I'll see if he can help you. He can't solve it all over the phone but he might be able to point ya in the right direction. Oh and the pretzels are delicious with the salt and sweet hee hee. Have you ever had chocolate covered chips? Same combo there. Easy peasy to make too. Vegg - How did you do at work today? Did ya wear something on the loser side so it won't squish your incisions? I know I had to. Hope you had a good day. Betty - That Halloween party sounds like fun. I'd love to see pictures of the cake if you have them. I bet that was funny. I made homemade turkey Soup over the weekend yummmmmmm. Hmmm this weekend who knows lol. I'm thinking zucchini bread or chocolate chip Cookies. Hmm maybe I better come up with something more band friendly...errr unfriendly so I don't eat it huh? hahaha Mandy - sounds like you got so much shopping done. I got some good deals at Walmart myself. What I really liked was they had plenty of the things on sale this time! No fighting for stuff....I liked it lol. Also went to Michaels and picked up my gingerbread house kits. Mom and I are making them this year...something for us to do on a snowing weekend. We're suppose to get some snow on Saturday. Yippee love it on weekends when I can stay home lol. It's so pretty then...as long as the roads are clear for work lol Patty - How are you hon? I've tried to email you a few things but your email won't let some thing go through...or I have the wrong email addy lol. Thats certainly possible. Pat - Do you have your tree now? Professional Tree decorator does your tree. My gosh it must be beautiful...do post pics Do you pick a theme and they go with it or colors? I'm sorry if I missed anyone...advanced mode mama is me. Hope you're all doing well and Shrinking!

Trans-Siberian Orchastra is FANATASTIC to see. We went last year and LOVED it! Hope you enjoy it!

Turkey soup was a hit but, I didn't get to the pretzels yet. I'm so tired from helping BIL/SIL/baby move in. Shopping for stuff, working and picking up stuff from freecycle for them...just pooped. I can't say enough about the Freecycle group though...they've truly been a blessing. It's great to see them offer things they no longer use so it won't go to the landfill and also it's great to see people list something they need and someone else gives a hand. It's really been great and I'm glad I'm a part of helping that along. You should definately try Freecycle.org in your own state/area. well....going to go downstairs to see if mom wants to try to make some pretzels. She's never made them so I'm playing teacher tonight. I had taken a few candy making classes and actually have quite a collection of molds etc. I just haven't done it in years. I used to make all kinds of handmade chocolates like coconut clusters, peanutbutter cups, nut clusters, molded and painted chocolate figures, almond bark, peppermint bark, peanut brittle etc. Lots of fun but, you need the time to do it. Great at Easter time to paint all the pretty eggs, bunnies and flowers though I miss my crafts sometimes. Someday I'll get back to them. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend...Hope you have a lovely week :bolt: Love yas!

1.5 gifts down today....plenty more to get for. Bought supplies to make chocolate covered pretzels as gifts this year. Figured I'll be making those this year for gifts. Don't know what to get the in-laws because no matter what I get we'll get questioned anyway. It's either not enough, or like last year because we combined the married couples gifts to one mutual gift, we'll be questioned where the other gift is. Unreal! DH is NOT looking forward to going home for Christmas this year and would rather skip it but, we have nephews and a niece so we need to go. MIL...well....lets just say DH is not happy with her right now. Last year we went overboard with gifts for her and we barely got a thank you...this year....neither of us knows what to give her. Remember....last year DH's gift from his mom was all "after Christmas" 75% off food items? We cried all the way home especially after every time she sees him she says he's gained weight before even saying hello. Needless to say....I'm not looking forward to this all over again. Oh well...one day at a time. Well off to make Turkey soup and some chocolate covered pretzels. Hope everyone is having a good day.
