My doc was agressive with the first fill gave 1.5cc...2nd fill he only took out .5 so he gave me another 1cc...so there is either 2.5 in there or 1.5...it's a tough thing to really track. depends on how much air is in the tubing etc.

Awww thank you everyone. I truly appreciate it. The men in my life took me out for a birthday dinner. I was a semi good girl in that I had french onion Soup and a piece of fish. No cake....but they did stop and get me some Eddy's Peanut Butter cup ice cream in the lower fat/cal version I'll have some of that later on tonight. It was nice having dinner with them. I got some really nice Ecards too. *wink* Made me realize I have some phone calls to make soon to do some checking up on peeps. Get this....My MIL actually called....Huh? Yeap I said it...she called to wish me happy birthday. DH had the look of wonder in his eyes lol. Couldn't believe it because she's not one to call. That meant alot to me Long story about BIL in the works but, I'm enjoying my day so I don't even want to get into the whole thing. Lets just say an opportunity came that would of made things great for him and his family and he decided he wasn't "comfortable" with it. UGH. Since when is work "comfortable" for anyone? Simply unreal and all I can say is....we can't help him anymore. He gave me the saying "The Lord will provide"...no brotha the saying is "The Lord will provide for those who help themselves" and he provided this opportunity and you passed it by. UGHHHHH ok ok ok enough of thinking of that. I have my own family to worry about and to enjoy. Love you all lots.....hopefully I'll catch up on all this training at work and be able to enjoy some time here. Been crazy learning new systems, financial reports etc. I've been in Excel and Pivot Table HELL hahaha

Bean Yeap that's pearlized glass on her wings and also her dress but that's hard to see in the picture. Her wings are textured too. Also...the excel program I'm using is called "Professor Teaches" Microsoft Office, Windows, Web & Graphics. I picked it up at Staples. I have to say it's an excellent teacher but, excel is just boring but necessary with my job. Now to just learn what the heck it is I'm putting in the dang thing for financial information hahaha. I'll get there. Hope all is going well for everyone. Busy busy here...just got home not too long ago from getting my hair done. Have to be a pretty birthday girl tomorrow. I already got a nice gift from my mom and DH gave me flowers. Hopefully tomorrows training at work will go ok then I can enjoy my birthday. Just nervous learning all this new stuff. Happy Easter! Hope everyone has a wonderful day with their family and friends. Yesterday DH and I colored eggs with DBIL, DSIL and DN. DS was working so we saved him a few to do. Wasn't sure if at 1 month less of 17 years old he'd wanna do some but, he did. I was happy he wanted to do a few. Going to be lots of egg salad this week haha Today in-laws and mom are coming for Easter dinner. Son is working again until 6:30 so I'm going to put some aside for him and I'll sit with him when he gets home. He was upset that he wasn't going to be here but, he understands when you work it sometimes happens. DS was getting ready for work so I snuck in his room and left something for him. He got out of the shower and into his room and said AWWWWW MOM you didn't have to do that. I said Do what? lol Told him the Easter bunny left it. Since he just got a car I got him a wash bucket filled with a bucket pocket wrap, car wash, sponge, spray car polish, tire cleaner/shiner, tire brush and of course his favorites, Twix, Reeses easter eggs, War heads, Cadbury mini eggs and some other stuff. I still have fun doing that stuff For my nephew he's getting a soft bunny basket, A stuffed chick that churps and a sippy cup...his dad is getting a 1 lb Chocolate bunny and his mom a chocolate cross and each a masa with an egg in it. Funny, I didn't get me or DH anything lol So my Easter meal is in the oven...my mom spoiled us and bought most of the meal from the Honey Baked Ham company..she got spiral cut ham, turkey breast, cinnamon apples, cornbread stuffing and sweet potatoe casserole. All we had to do make mash potatoes and the veggies. Easy meal to do today that's to Mom While it's all cooking....and in between me goofin here to say hello...I've been working with a program Professor Teaches Office, Windows, Web & Graphics. I'm learning the Excel program now. I've worked with Excel but I need alot more information and knowledge now that work has me learning the financial aspects and I have to report the financial status to the accounts we do business for. UGH. Can you say BORING! I have to say the programs are well thought out though. I need to get to Pivot Tables but I'm working my way through the entire Excel program so I'm familiar with it all and hopefully learn more formulas etc. So...I better get going, I need to turn on the veggies, check the oven and lick the NEXT button of this very exciting Excel program. (trying to convince myself I like it hahahah) Happy Easter everyone! PS Cindy......oooo sooo close! You can do it. Maybe if I'm lucky....my body will follow yours soon into ONDERLAND. How Exciting!

No fill for me today....I rescheduled my appointment to the 25th because I really wanted to see a nutrionist as well and couldn't if I went today plus it's easier for my DH to bring me if I plan it better. Soooo I'm on my own for a few weeks. Fighting head hunger like crazy these days! I wish they could put a band around my head hahaha

Rescheduled my doc visit today to the 25th. It was too hard for DH to get out of work to bring me and I HATE going alone. Plus....I get to meet the new nutriontist and I'll make sure to have a food diary so they can help me out of this plateau. Is it considered a plateau when you're not staying the same but going up grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I do feel I need a slight fill but, like Betty has mentioned a band too tight will make it hard to lose as well. I'll let the doc and nutrionist help me decide on the 25th. I didn't get any updates for a few days here hmmmm. Always happens to me when we start a new chat thread. I've put the thread on "instant notification" but, eh it works when it wants to. So yesterday I had the day off and kept DS home from high school for the day. We had a day of running around getting his car on the road. Ohhhhh I just love the RMV....NOT! Anyway he's all set and has his own wheels now. Lord.....please ride with him. Hopefully I'll get in here soon for personals. Tonight afterwork Crispy is coming over for a treatment and dinner and Thursday is the last stainedglass class so may just maybe Friday I'll have time Sorry my friends...I love ya and thank you for being here. Melissa...welcome and you're completely normal with the nerves. I cried two nights before my surgery from nerves as well. We always think...if I would just eat less, exercise more on my own I wouldn't have to do something so drastic. Well....we got here saying we'd do all that and what if this or what if that...it didn't work. THIS tool has helped me tremendously. I'm not going to say it's easy all the time or that it's a miracle because you know you have to work WITH the tool in order for it to work. I have to say it's kept me in line when I was ready to give up a few times...unlike my diets when I felt that way and did give up...now I can't. It's just the push I need to keep going. aaaa got an appointment for this Wednesday for a fill

Aaaa headed for a slight fill on Wednesday. Told the gal at the desk that my next visit wasn't scheduled until May 30th and I REALLY don't want to risk gaining more weight and I've been fighting this since January. Enough already...this is why I have the band. Bean - I'm not sure why the hell the scale won't move other than I'm not really moving my body. I've asked my DH and my best friend to be totally honest with me if they've seen me eat more than they I thought but, they said nope. I've totally admitted to having chocolate and other "junk" occassionally but, I have from about 3 months out from surgery. I really try not to eat too much of it. I'm sure I've eaten more than I should at dinnertimes sometimes and probably later than I should because of the hours I've been putting in etc. DH seems to think the stress from work and some things at home didn't help me, plus the change my body is going through with pre-menopause. I've also been cut way back from my BP meds which we all know are diaretics so I figure I've gained some Water back with that change. Reiki Master and weightloss.........reiki keeps me spiritually, mind and body balanced so it's definately helped. If I didn't have that training I know I would of gained more than the now 6 (was 10) that I have. So I do need to practice it more to help myself. As they say Heal Thyself and heal others. So we're working on it Thanks for asking! Well better get back to work. Closing the books today....I'm off work tomorrow to go get my son's car registered and insurance. OH LORD...I need the fill before my nerves really kick in hahaha

I feel I'm eating too much. Pretty sad when you think a cup of food is too much huh? Well sometimes its more than a cup of food. I need another hobby lol. Gooooood mooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnin! Nice sunny day this morning. Sneezin my head off the past few days so I tink I gots sum allergees (heh heh) Call me Rudolf in a few days if this keeps up. Dang hate sneezin cause the pressure causes other problems :guess :phanvan :tired April...April....my mom was going to name me April but she got in her head I had to have a saints name to be baptised. :rolleyes So who the heck ever heard of Saint Sherry? Wacked hahaha So then...get this...looking for baptismal records at church one time....my name is under as Cheryl for the same reason? Hello...Saint Cheryl? Then my mom wasn't sure if my name on my birthcertificate was Sherry or Cheryl cause she got confused where she changed it to Cheryl. Holy smokes I KNEW I wasn't born into this family, I was switched at birth! Low and behold Sherry is the name. Otta be Saint Sherry with my family history waaaaaaaahaha. I think it's funny now but, when I was finding all this out when I was younger I didn't Geesh! Anywho...I guess I turned out pretty good...although I have to say I really do think I was switched at birth :confused: So I've kept up on my reading but, can't remember who said what and since it's a new thread forget it...my memory just ain't that good. Someone asked me what kind of client? Well the client blew us off anyway lol. My friend Donna and I are working on our Reiki Teaching Level. We're both Reiki Masters now but, want to learn more and more about different types of Holistic healing including Reiki. Herbs, crystals, Intergrated Energy Therapy, Healing with Angels, Bach Flower Essences and Aromatherapy. I've always had an interest in all of this and I'm finally doing something about it. It's been a great journey, lots of classes, lots of group work time etc. Yesterday we were suppose to have our first "outside family" client. She works with my husband and when he was talking about what I'm doing at work she was really excited and wanted a treatment. She booked it, we ran around preparing, cleansing the room etc...then we did some studying on other things while waiting for her and she never showed, never called. Cripe we wanted to go to a store but, didn't because we didn't want to be late for her appointment and she didn't show. So we know this will happen and it's not like we were charging her so we weren't losing on money but, we lost on some time. Fortunately we were smart enough to do some research and stuff together during that time We're working on a burning bowl ceremony. Quick explanation...bowl is filled with sand and candle...you write down all the things from your past that keep you down or have hurt you, say a prayer, ask for help to release it and symbolize the release of it by burning the paper you wrote it on. You then write down where you want to go, what you want in your life and say a prayer asking for help on your journey. You either burn that and ask that your god/guides/angels take those hopes and wants and help you on your journey or the person folds it, gives it to someone else to mail it to them at a later date as a reminder of their new goals and to keep them on the journey. (Kinda goes along with The Secret too) Anyway....there is much more too it but, that was a rather quick explanation. Hmm what else is new since I've been scarce... DS got a job at a video game store. He started this week. We still have to get his car on the road so he can drive himself (nerves are really working overtime on mom lol) there. We waited until April to register his car because I was told I'd save $200 on his insurance since rates are going down in April. (Go figure never thought I'd see that in Massachusetts) Anyway...one shift is 3-8...oh Lordy mom is nervous about night time driving. The kid hasn't driven by himself yet. Anywho....you'll be hearing my gray hairs popping no matter where you live. Hubby is getting ready for fishing and motorcycle riding season. New lights went on the motorcycle for added directionals and side night time lighting...nice LCD ones. Much better safey wise on the side view of the motorcycle. I want to get him the additional headlights but, man those things aren't cheap. (Is any hobby?) We're headed to a fishing show today in Providence.....boring for me but, I love to see him get all excited about the fishing and seeing him smile makes me happy so I go along. Afterall he goes to craft fairs for me too Dogs are still dogs hee hee. Jake is going to be 1 year old this month on, of all days, April 15th. I still say we should of called him Sam hahaha. Jenny is beautiful as ever. Stained Glass is all cut and DH is soldering it together for me since he's better at it then me and I don't want to ruin all that work. Besides when I look at her I'll see it was made by both of us Mushy I know lol. She's beautiful and I'll have to get a picture up for you to see when we get her all done. I'm still having trouble getting the weight I put back on off. grrrrr stinks! I don't want to change my total though because then I'll really feel defeated with it so I'm just ignoring it right now lol. I wanted to get below 200 by my birthday but, I truly don't see that happening now that it's April already. All I can do is keep on keeping on and get my ARS moving. So easy to say but, doing it is another story aye? I hope you're all doing much better and shrinking! Gotta head out and do errands this morning! Hugs to you!

Ohhhh darnit so that's it? Wine...ok any particular one? hee hee Eileen so sorry about mom...sounds like she's already on the mend though if she's at your sister for helping her hahaha. In the middle of cleaning my office, this should take weeks UGH. No clue how it gets so dang cluttered all the time. I have my first client today and I need to cleanse this room for sure plus...my friend Donna and I have decided to start to study more and concentrate more on our Reiki practices. She's going to come over to help me cleanse the room and it's kinda like having a maid...you clean before she comes hahaha. Wacked I know! Speaking of maid...has anyone ever had one? Not that I can afford it but, I was thinking it sure would be nice to have a hand at least in scrubbing some wood trim clean (you know the guys touch the walls all the time..must be trying to hold themselves up as they take a corner? lol) and just wash them to get the dust off the baseboards and stuff. Cabinets need scrubbing...thought maybe some help would be nice so I'm not stuck doing it all by myself. Anyone ever have a maid service for that stuff?

Cheri just remember you can ask ANY questions you want to the surgeons, staff, and nutrionists. I knew EXACTLY how things were going to be every step of the way because I asked loads of questions. It's your body, your life they are working on so ask away! This is another great resource to ask questions from as well. Prior to this surgery I had never had surgery before. I have to say I was pleasantly pleased how it all turned out and with the hospital and the bariatric center folks. Never ever be afraid to ask any question! Only YOU can keep yourself informed and do the homework you need to make yourself comfortable with your decision. Best wishes with your journey.

Sweet....I think you've had some major things done in your other surgeries. This is definately surgery but, I don't think this one is anywhere near what you've already been through on pain level. I would think this surgery would be far less painful compared to what you've been through already. I went to Beth Israel and it was great. Wonderful care, great nutrionists, docs are a bit rushed sometimes but, they always answer your questions and the staff I can't say enough about. They've been so nice every time I've gone up there. The nursing care after surgery was awesome and very friendly. Good luck with your decision
