Hi Ryan, Are you tracking your calories? I can honestly tell you I was too tight and didn't lose an ounce of weight because of it. If you don't get in enough calories you won't lose either, your metabolism will shut down. Track your calorie intake on SparkPeople.com or another website if you find it easier. Are you meeting with a nurtionist regularly too? They have lots of suggestions and helpful hints that help us along on our path. You're not alone that's for sure. Others have gone and are going through what you are. Work closely with your surgeon, keep track of your intake and definately see a nutrionist Good luck -
Whew haven't posted in a while here. Where is everyone lol. Where is the old BIDMC crew that met up in Braintree? Looks like we dropped the ball again.

Thanks Maureen, I try not to beat myself up too much. Just certain days it seems it happens more. When I really think about it though, I know that I'm doing great and without the band I never would of lost the 69 pounds in the first place and probably be walking with crutches or a cane. I think we all beat ourselves up...heck we're good at it lol. It's always nice to have other LBT friends to help us out of the funk. Chrispy helps me with that too. It's funny because when she's in a funk I'm not and help her and vice versa. It really does help having friends that are banded too. Now...If I could just get myself motivated to do what I need to do to get losing again! Hope everyone is doing well and shrinking! -

Lorna...how did you make out with Dr. Jones and your infection? Are you ok now? Hi folks, been a while since I've posted in here. Been going through stuff and been really really busy. I had to have my band 1/2 unfilled a few months back and it's been a struggle to keep weight off. I was down to 200 and waiting for Onederland when I developed really bad reflux. So bad that I woke up at night feeling like I was drowning. I tried anacids over the counter and prescription with no avail. Dr. Jones decided I had to have fluid taken out to see if that would help because we didn't want problems with my esphogus. Well it definately helped but of course now I'm hungry quite a bit between meals. I had also gone off of all high blood pressure meds in January so right after the meds were gone I put on water weight because HBP drugs are diaretics. So immediately it seems 5 pounds were back on in less than a week so I chaulked itup to the lack of diaretics in my body...well since the 1/2 unfill I'm up another 3. I suppose 8 pounds since january is pretty good and I certainly know it would be much worse if the band wasn't in place at all but, still it's upsetting to me. I haven't changed my ticker because I just can't bring myself to do it. I think I'm going to totally delete it though so I don't feel like I"m lying. (playing games with myself I guess) I do look at the brighter side though in that I've lost 69 pounds, no longer have heel/foot pain, lower back is so much better and I feel better all around. I have to keep that in mind when the doubts start creepin in. Like man I have another 53 pounds to lose to get to my goal...but I have to remember baby steps. I needed to heal from this reflux first. I see Jones in October and I'm hoping for a small fill. No more big fills if I can help it. It's just not worth it to me and I feel I learn more if I take babysteps I hope everyone is doing well and having success with their bands and for those of you haven't had your surgery I wish you the best in your process. -
Terri, You should ask your surgeon what band and what size did he put in you. That way you know how big it is and how much saline it will hold. There are different brands and sizes but, he has to document that in your paperwork so it's ok to ask him/her. The saline is put in the band to test it prior to surgery, then it's taken out before they put it in you. You're first fill and the amount will be between you and your surgeon. I'm assuming you realize that the saline is put in through your port and each fill differs in amount depending on the surgeon and patient. I've had my band since Feb 06 and I've had 3 fills and 1 unfill of half the Fluid in my band. My band holds 4ccs of fluid. As far as the band being filled to capacity....again knowing your band will help with that. As you lose weight the band becomes loser around your stomach so you'd need a fill. Reason being, the opening between the top portion of your stomach and the lower part will be more open as you lose fat. Tightening the band will help make more restriction so you can continue to loose. Because there is fat around your stomach, alot of people have restriction as soon as the band is put in place....some still need a fill when they first get it because they don't have as much fat around their stomach and/or the band their surgeon used was bigger. I believe the surgeons judge how big a band to use in order to avoid it having to be completely filled for the patient to have restriction. I haven't heard of anyone being at Capacity and being comfortable with their band. That's definately a separate question to put out there and also a big one to ask your surgeon. See if he/she has ever had a patient with a band to capacity. Hope that helps.

Happy Birthday Patty! Patty....when one door closes another always always opens. Don't look in the review mirror my friend, look through the windshield and follow the new road. You can do it!

OH I've been on the Rocking Rollercoaster before and I would of gone on it again! Just gotta give me a bit of time between upside down rides hahaha I screamed so much on that first Six Flags ride that John was hysterical! lol

Hey Everyone, Man it's September already huh? It's been great having a three day weekend....hmmm I need to come up with something that will allow me to work from home all the time and is fun and brings in a good pay. Geesh not asking for much huh? hahaha. Things are good at work though, extremely busy and can be stressful but, at least it's good and I'm learning more. DH and BIL are out fishing since 4:30 am this morning. I noticed DH left his cell phones home so there is no way of getting ahold of him...makes me nervous because they use it when out on the ocean to call during emergencies but, at least he still has the cb/radio on the boat too. Since he got up so early...that pretty much means he's done for the day and will be snoozin on the couch. Thats ok too, I have a bunch of laundry to do, start to plan packing for the trip and some Reiki work to do to prepare to start teaching new students. Funny, plenty to keep me busy but, I'm here surfing the net. I need to make sure to get moving after I finish this posting just so I DO get some things done today. DH always says there isn't anything wrong with taking it easy Sherry...but errrr when I do that I always regret it becuase then I feel I wasted the time. Silly me! Well, the weight still isn't moving but, I haven't been a very good bandster either I have to say I don't like this unfill at all. You'd think I would of learned over the past year NOT to do some of the things I've been doing lately...like eating candy for lunch with Chrispy the other day lol. It was good but, when it comes down to it, the candy wasn't that great well other than the English Toffee. Good thing I only bought 2 pieces of that WHEW! Wow all this talk of freezing and canning...is making miss my jelly making times. I used to get some Concord Grapes from my friend's father. He had a big vine and always had some left over from his wine making. He'd give me a big basket of them and I'd send him a few jars of the jelly when I was done. Lots of work but it was soooo good. I have one of those freezer bag things too. DH uses it for his fish all the time. I just never though to use it for the meats and stuff. Can you say DUHHHHHH hahaha. I'm going to have to do that. We've been using a food service called Family First Foods for all our meats. We buy the meat in bulk and pay it off over 5 months. The meats are raised organically in Penn and then cut and packed the same day then quick frozen. The meat is sooo tender. It's a bit on the pricey side though but, let me tell ya the T-Bones are a bandster heaven item. It's so tender you can literrally cut it with a fork. All their beef, chicken and turkey items have been fantastic. We're going to have to place an order again soon. I'm trying to hold out so I don't have that big bill each month for a while. Oh and they individually freeze the pieces too. Probably why I forgot I can use my freezer bag thing huh? hahaha Well, only a few weeks for Disney. Wow, it's coming quickly. I'm getting really excited. We went to Six Flags New England on Saturday...whew I did the first big ride when we got there and was dizzy for about 20 min. This thing went through loops, turns, twists, upside down and around then again all backwards. I screamed bloody murder the entire ride. So I didn't ride too many more after that. I went on those swing things with my son and he said "I don't know you" hahaha. I said yea I know the things you do for your mother lol. He's a good sport. So they road on some major rollercoasters and my son got a kick out of shooting people with Water cannons as they crossed the bridge from the ride they just took. People forget that they can get wet that way and all start screaming. It's pretty funny. So I got my sea legs back and decided to ask the guys to ride the tea cups with me. OMG never EVER will I look at the teacup ride the same again. The guys had it spinning so freaking fast I told them they had to stop or i was going to hurl. When we got off the guys were laughing and DH was saying how they couldn't see when they spun it it was going so fast. One lady heard him and said you were going way too fast..that was mean when she looked at me lol. I think she saw the green. Anyway..that was it for me. I was done. Ummm thankfully I think Chris won't be spinning the teacups in disney so fast...if she gets me on them I think I'll stick to riding the Dumbo ride and It's a Small World lol. I'm such a wuss! Well I better get going and do something around here. I hope you folks are enjoying your holiday!

Only you know the answer to that one. You have to ask yourself...if it's worth it if it's been more bad than good? If it truly has been more bad then good then why has it been that way...just physically your body doesn't like the band even though you've followed the band rules.....did you not follow the rules and so it's been bad but, if you did you'd do ok? Stuff like that. I think writing pros and cons on a piece of paper would help you too. The band isn't for everyone so don't knock yourself for trying...you need to pat yourself on the back for at least trying because it's not an easy decision. I wish I could help you with your decision but, it's such a personal choice. I now for me....even through I'm not losing and haven't since January, I know I'd eat way more than I should if it weren't in place so for me it's still a good choice. I wish you the best in your decision and hope you're feeling better soon.

Mandy I like the one on the far right the best but, they all look great. The colors of the one in the middle are my favorites for a bathing suit. Where were you able to get suits this late in the season? I really need to pick one up before Florida UGH. DH took a motorcycle ride up to his mom's in NY and I stayed here with DS to go to my Godson's birthday party. It's been a fun day actually...some mom and son time. Taking him out to dinner now, just waiting for him to get ready. Anyone have a good recipe for homemade Mac N' Cheese they can share with me. I've had a craving for it all day and no place around here makes it like homemade. I love it when it has the crunchy crumb topping on it. Please share if ya have one yummmmmm.

Whew, just got home from school shopping with my son. THANK GOD he's not into designer clothing and he's super simple to buy for. 2 stores and we're done yeeehaaaa. Bob's for jeans, socks and a couple tshirts then Hot Topic for his concert type tshirts and get this his sneakers. He loves those high top converse cloth sneakers. On sale $25 oh yea we can do that. hahaha. I looked around and heard some kids complaining because they didn't have their size in Tommy's jeans. Cripe...I'm so so glad I never got my son into designers stuff. I was never into it myself mainly because those clothes wear out just like any other but man they can cost a small fortune. I was able to get my son 3 pairs of jeans for the price of those Tommy's those kids were looking at. Incredible! I guess I never got into it because my parents didn't have the pocketbook for it and then being on my own since I was 18 working two part-time jobs to survive...yea I couldn't do it either. Now I just don't. My son said the same thing...smart kid...why spend that much on one thing when you can get 3 that last just as long if not longer because you have 3 to use instead of one. (Ya think he's thinking? hee hee) We had a good time together too with Breakfast, ran to the post office to mail off my care package to my adopted soldier in Iraq, shopped, had a nice lunch and back home. Son doesn't have to work today so he's spending time with his dad later this afternoon too. DH is off with his motorcycle friends taking a tour of Newport RI. When he gets home we're heading to our friends house (son's godmother) because she had her gallbladder taken out and just got home yesterday. Going to keep her company and help her around the house a bit. Then....DH and I will probably go for a ride and out to dinner while DS is with his dad. Fun today but, working around here tomorrow. Sunday isn't my day of rest that's for sure haha. I'll have to do laundry again (cripe just put away what I washed last week, this morning lol), wash the kitchen floor, dust yadda yadda. Then I'll be pooped and have to go back to work. Man the weekends go by fast don't they . It's really cool here today too. About 70's right now...A/C off and windows open. I haven't been able to go in my pool for a week now it's just too chilly or been too late by the time I've gotten home Craziness I tell ya I'm struggling with my weight...this 1/2 unfill is a stuggle yet I'm still finding I occassionally have heartburn so I highly doubt he'll let me fill it a little more. I've made up my mind to kick back into gear on Monday. HOLD ME TO IT GIRLS because man it doesn't take much to slack off Where is Darcy with her E challenges? lol. Bean nice to see you again I'm glad things are looking up for you with work and I wish you the best with your new job. Have fun prepping up for it. I love having my toes done Betty - has it been cooler where you are now? Been swimming? Hey how is that foot? Have you ridden your motorcycle yet? Whew lots of questions huh? Mandy - You feeling better...more energy now? I hear it takes alot out of you having those surgeries. I haven't had anyone really close to me have that yet, but some people from work. I knew a few of the girls got really really tired. I hope it's all going ok for you. Looking forward to Disney girl! Eileen - Ohhh I don't know if I could sit through a movie or show if I were that bored. I think I'd be working on something crafty or reading a book but, keeping my kiddo company. the guys were watching something stupid the other night called Top Fuzz or something like that. Suppose to be a funny drama cop thing but it was GROSS to me and not the least bit funny. I went to bed and let them keep each other company hahaha. What ya cooking this weekend? I think you'd like that chicken coucous stuff I mentioned earlier. The guys acutally told me yesterday they really liked it. Hmmmm ya think they would of said that sooner hahaha. Cindy - You certainly do keep yourself pretty busy with the school stuff for a retired woman My sister-in-law kinda did the same thing when she retired from working in the school office. They ended up calling her in quite bit to help anyway lol. Her kids hated it when she worked there because all their friends would complain that when they went to get a late note...they knew she knew their parents hahaha. Patty - That's great that your doc listened. I know my doc doesn't push a fill if you tell himyou don't want it. Truly we're the ones working with our band so it's our decision not theirs anyway. I really want a fill now but, I know I can't do that with reflux..it's not healthy. I have to get this under control first. I think the exercise will help me with it. Then I can get back to losing. It's never easy huh? Anyone heard from Pat or Anne lately? Hope they're doing ok. I get jokes from Pat alot but, I haven't heard from Anne since she went back to work. I still think of her everyday when I use my carosel at work She sent me that to thank me for some clothes I sent her so she could have them for work. Sweet gal she is, I miss her. Sorry if I missed anyone...it's not intentional just the memory going and I didn't do the advance thing and if I click it now I'll lost my entire post lol. Well I suppose I should go clean up some around here...got some vaccuming to do and take the dogs out for a run. Hugs to all and have an awesome day!

Dez...PM Chrispy she used to do home insurance and now she works doing it for businesses but, I'm sure she still has contacts. -
hellllllloooooooo out there  Hope everyone is doing well today and was able to rest a bit. Went to one of DH's coworkers cookouts today at their summer home. Man...small but very nice cottage by the Water and his friend did it all over inside. Very very nice...beautiful peaceful place. I can see why they love going there on weekends. DH did some fishing off the dock and I relaxed with a nice frozen Margarita :shade:. I haven't had alcohol in so long that after two I was feeling prrreeetty rrrrrelaxed :guess:wacko:. The only problem was it took people so long to get there that they held off grilling anything so my freakin hands were in the chips, dips, cheese, crackers ya know all the stuff you try to stay away from. :hurt Oh well. Before we went, I had to bring something so baked a batch of brownies and put toffee chips and chocolate chips on top of them. Good thing they stayed there and we left right after we each had a burger cause I would of eaten those too haha. Got home took a 2 hour swim in the pool. Burrrrr the water was soooo cold but, I did it anyway. Had to burn off those margaritas ya know lol So I won't feel so guilty if we go for ice cream later hahaha. After the pool I decided to try a recipe I found called chicken and Veggie Couscous. It allowed me to use the fresh basil I've been growing not knowing what to do with it hee hee. Well, it tastes ok but it's missing something to me. I can't put my finger on it either. But ya know it's good and different. It called for 1 cup couscous and 1 cup chicken broth but honestly I had to use 2 cups broth so I wonder if it was a typo. I found the recipe on SparkPeople which has mostly healthy recipes so probably why I feel somethings missing...like BUTTER lol. I can bet it would be good cold too. If you want the recipe you can find it on SparkPeople.com under Chicken and Veggie Couscous. Now DH is sound asleep on the couch with the Harry Potter book on his lap haha. The pups are sleeping, son is working during this Sales Tax Free weekend here in Massachusetts and I'm bored out of my mind. I should be studying my reiki stuff and will probably do that after I finish this post. My tattoo is finally done. Looking kinda funky because it's healing. So I'm kinda scaley haha. Lets say the planets Saturn and Earth are looking rough along with the shooting stars. I'll post a picture as soon as it starts to look like it's suppose to. Sounds like everyone has been keeping busy Eileen - Work week was HELL this week to say the least. I really am looking forward to the day I'm doing ONE job only. Personality clashes are making things tense and moral seems to be down...hopefully it will turn around soon. My boss was in a bit of a funk this week too but, she's been under alot of pressure home and work so I can understand why. She's cool to work for so at least I have that part going for me Sorry to hear your boss was being a turkey this week. Like you said...maybe he needs a bit of fun then he'll be better on Monday Did you go in your pool today? Man ours was so cold today, took a while to get used to it. Cindy - You really look great in your picture with your daughter. They've been working on alot of roads here too. One of which I use to get to work and found myself going around town to get passed it. You really do feel like your car is getting ripped apart going over it. Speaking of Cars...UGH....my stupid engine light came on so I had to bring it in. *GASP* $600 later and I'm back on the road grrrrrr. Stupid air sensor, a small part about 3'' long cost $250 for the part alone. Geeeepers! Patty - Funnel Cakes huh? Do you make flavored ones or plain with powdered sugar? Do you use cinnamon and sugar? Been Years since I had one of those or Fried Dough. My mom used to make us donuts by using the pilsbury biscuits and deep frying them. They puff up and she'd take them out and roll them in cinnamon and sugar. OH BOY they were yummy! Easy to make too but, I don't make them now cause I'd eat em lol. How are you feeling with your band? Chrispy - Did you go to that family cookout thing today? How was that Friday date? I miss ya We gotta get together again soon! Ya know before Disney cause I need to do some shoppin! and you are the gal to shop with cause you help me pick out nice things...cause you know me. I HATE everything I try on lol. I need someone to nominate me to be on that TLC show "What NOT to wear" I think it's called? MAN I'd love help picking out outfits to compliment my body......I have no confidence in that. Mandy - Ya know I won't even pack until the night before we leave lol. I just never do for any trip because I use all the stuff I take with me. I will have to pick up some sun block too I guess. Hey...question for ya....did you say you have Staples deliver water to your room? I'd heard someone doing that to save money on the water since it's so expensive in the park. Just curious. Betty - WOWZA you've had some high temperatures there. Ya sure you don't want to come to New England for a visit to cool off? You're more than welcome to stay here if you'd like I think the hottest we've reached so far here is maybe 90....not sure on that as my weather man is sleepin on the couch right now lol. He's the weather guy...Hun whats the temp today is what I usually ask him before I dress for work lol. He's got an entire weather station set up here at the house and his webpage has our local weather and results from his stations so friends can see it. Hmmmm I don't even go to the site...my bad huh? Kat - Are ya saying we're old if we have to scroll back to remember what people said here. RUT RO...I'm in troubl then cause I have to do it all the time hahaha. I think that's a great idea on the concert tickets for birthday gifts. Pretty cool! You're right...I can't even remember what my mom used to give me for my birthday....now she gives money for everything. She doesn't really shop at all. She said this way she knows everyone likes it. EH I'm fine with it but, I find if I get money....it ends up going toward house stuff versus if she gives a gift certificate to a restaurant it gets put to the use she intended ya know? But of course I'm thankful for anything I get Sounds like things have toned down a bit for ya...shhhh that's great Darcy Darcy Darcy - I've missed ya girl! I'd love to see pics of your new place. I can bet it's looking so nice I hope you're enjoying it and the peacefulness around it. Sounds so nice. Thinking of ya! Well I think I got everyone...well at least as far as the scrolling will allow me hahaha. Hope everyone is doing well and shrinking cause my freaking scale needs to hit the road. Hmmm if I give it a swift kick do ya think it will move? probably only from kicking it huh? hahaha Oh if anyone is thinking about seeing Bourne Ultimatum...do it...it's awesome!

Hmmm, I work in a professional office setting but... I have 3 tattoos one of which just got completed and it's 10''x10'' in size and I plan on getting another one about the same size. I was always the shy, quiet one all through school...I now have my motorcycle license, that has shocked some old school friends lol -
Can't stay but, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EILEEN!!!!! Sorry I'm late me bad But I lub ya and hope it was a great one!

Good morning everyone. I hope your week is going ok so far. Mondays are always yucky for me hahaha. I guess because the weekends seem to fly by and that's when I decide what I need to accomplish for the week. Man the list is huge this week..GULP! I should be used to this by now but, it seems to get to me sometimes. Hmmm might have something to do with TOM being on the way I s'pose huh? Heck even my horoscope says I've got tons to do but, if not careful it won't get accomplished but all started. Sheesh! I guess I better get cracking or I'll make the horoscope come true haha. Have a wonderful day!

Goooood Moooornin Gals (or Goils as Eileen would say hee hee love it!) Eileen - Watcha cooking for the week today? Ya know that really is a good idea...ummm ifn I would eat it and stick to it. MY BAD. I really should plan better what I'm going to eat for lunches and stuff during the week. But I never know day to day what my tummy will let me have lol. Seafood salad seems to be the thing for lunch lately. I'm glad you had a good time in your pool. I went to the beach yesterday but, there is something to be said about swimming in your own pool I just feel so much cleaner without the seaweed floating around me hahaha but, then the sound of the waves and feel of the breeze at the beach..what a wonderful thing. It was just an awesome day hee hee. The pool was just the right temperature yesterday too. I could of fallen asleep floating around but, I don't have any floats I don't have to hold onto heh heh. That fair you went to sounds great. We have a big one here in September that we usually try to get to. It's about 2.5 hours away but, well worth the day trip. We leave here around 6am and get home around 6pm and like you are tootsies are usually aching. A few years back though I got food poisoning there so I'm REALLY careful what I eat when I'm there hahaha. Mandy - My appt got cancelled and moved to today at noon so hopefully it will get done today. Nothing uglier than a tattoo that isn't finished and it's flaking from the work done before haha. Chrispy and I didn't make meal plans for Disney with the exception of eating lunch at the Castle one day. We really wanna wing it because we just want to relax and food isn't going to be the priority. She's actually going to call Disney to see if we can change the expensive sit down dinners for some counter service ones or snack vouchers because we can't eat much anyway but, we'll see. The worse they can say is no but, there is a chance with knowing about our banding that they could change them for us. Eh we're not worried. Cindy - I'm glad DD had a great time at her camp. It's always nice to hear our children have fun The concert sounds awesome. I went to a Motown concert in NY once and we had great seats because the boyfriend at the time personally knows Johnny from Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge. What a concert! I enjoy going to them but, usually don't get a chance to go. I hope you enjoyed your concert I'm hearing the theme of laundry in our thread and mine is calling me too UGH. Kat - Does your husband have to keep a written log as well while he wears his monitor. I know the company I used to work for had 24 hour monitors and people had to keep a written log so if the scanners who read the monitor tapes saw a spike or something wrong they'd read the time on the log to see what the patient was doing at the time. The things you read sometimes YIPES hahaha but, it was a necessary thing for the patients to do. Is the woodshed done? How did it come out? Betty - I miss ya...hope you're doing well. Were you able to relax a bit this weekend? Darcy - It was nice reading your post. I miss ya! send us pics of you new nest now that it's decorated your way Hope it's all comfy cozy for you now. Patty - How was the parade? How do they get the confetti inside the eggs? ARe they real eggshells or plastic? Well, I better get the laundry started so I can hang the towels outside on the line for free drying time I love the smell of laundry that's been hung outside. Then tattoo time in an hour. Pleasure in Pain the place is called...hmmmm think about it hahaha

howdy folks...man it's a hot one today here in New England. Just got back from going to the beach and swimming in the pool with Chrispy. What a nice day and lots of exercise! I haven't been to a beach since out trip to Bermuda and prior to that since I was a young kid. My parents never took us to one, they took us mainly to local lakes or we used the sprinkler It was nice to be by the ocean and people watching. Hmmmm I have to say....sometimes I wonder why I worry about being in a bathing suit hahaha quite the sites to see sometimes lol. We had a grand time though and I'm looking forward to doing that with her again. DH is on his motorcycle with his friends riding to Providence Town on Cape Cod. DS is on his way to his friends house for a party (oh man I'm feeling old worrying about his driving somewhere he's not sure where he's going.) Thank God he has a cell phone in case he gets lost UGH. He never was one to pay attention to where we were driving when taking him to his friends, school, stores etc so now that he's driving he's clueless. Hmm maybe his Christmas present will be a GPS for his car . Later on tonight I have an appointment to get my tattoo finished. Hopefully totally finished now. Getting tired of looking at an unfinished piece. That's it until probably next year than I hope to get an angel put on my other thigh. Well...DS left.....pooches are taking a nap....I'm going to hit the shower and shave my legs again so the tattoo artist isn't filing his nails on my skin hahahah

Foaming is when you're either stuck or nearly to the top of your stomach...you know one bite too much. You're esphogus starts to produce more saliva and because your pouch is full it has no where to go but up. It's light enough that you don't really PB but, if it keeps up you could end up doing that. Literally you get the foamy bubbles up into your mouth and have to spit it out. Sometimes the food will move down and it stops but, if you keep swallowing the saliva/bubbles you will end up pbing. I take it as a warning and start pacing around to help the food move down. Some foods just don't sit right and this will happen. Not everyone gets it but, usually most have it at least once until they learn what their limit is Sometimes it happens not because your stomach is too full but, you've eaten something your tummy just doesn't like. For me it's pork...it's a no no lol

TAAADAAAAA man I had a hard time finding the new thread for some reason. Hopefully this one will alert me with new posts. No idea why it didn't work last month. Patty - Your Fiesta outing sounds like fun. They have Fiestas here pronouced liked (Faash stas) here. Mostly Portuguese churches and clubs through them here. I haven't been to one yet this year but, they are alot of fun. Crowded but always outdoors so it's not so bad. I hope you and the boys have a great time! Mandy - So glad everything went ok and that you're home. Definately more comfy at home I think, and you can sleep unlike a hospital. I hope you're feeling better soon! Disney isn't far away WAHOO! Cindy - Hope your day at home was relaxing..unfortunately that bridge tradegy was something else. Really is amazing to me that they thought just a year before that the bridge was ok? For it to have fallen like that and not be terrorist means they didn't look all that good last year huh? Betty - How are you doing my friend? Able to relax yet from all your company. Kat - Sorry to hear about Dad and I hope everything goes ok with him and with Ricks appointment. Girlfriend....I do hope you have an opportunity to just relax sometime soon You certainly are busy...we're going to have to send you to Cindy's house so you both can slowdown and relax over some nice summer drinks at the beach or pool Hmm lets see..anything new in my part of the world?..... My tattoo has now had 9 hours of work and I have to go back Sat for about another 1.5 hours and it should be done. Man they look terrible while they're healing and peeling lol. It's quite colorful and errrr my son says "Geesh mom that's a big tattoo" umm YEAP lol, but it's a nice one hahaha. I'll have to take a pic of it when it's healed and post it for you all to see. It's something else My new position at work is going well but, of course I'm working through the two other jobs still as well. My replacement is a go-getter but, man I don't have time for this much getting if ya know what I mean? I'm trying though and I know it will be better once all the training is done and some of this is off my plate. Ohhh I'm looking forward to the day where I'm doing one job! As Chrispy reminded me it's been about a year that I've been doing more than one and ya know...I'm getting tired. I soooo need this DISNEY trip lol. Found another motorcycle I may be getting for myself. Its an automatic and great for around town driving which is basically what I'd be doing with it because if we go on a long trip or on highways I'd ride in the back of the bigger, more comfy Venture with my DH. I get to see more that way too hahaha. Anyway, it's called a Qlink or CFMoto bike, 244cc Water cooled automatic. OH yea baby...automatic hahaha. Call me a wimp but, if I feel safer not having to shift so be it Anyway....we're kinda throwing that around and doing more research. I'd love a Ridley but, man those things are $15,000 minimum. Much like the prices of Harleys which for the amount of alone riding I'd be doing, it's just not worth it for me. Plus...I really don't want that much power under my hands lol. The smaller bike would be good for what I'm looking for so we'll see. Oh....since my unfill i've been going up and down about 2-3 pounds but never making it back to where I was in January. I haven't changed my ticker....cause I really don't want to discourage myself even more. Last night I TOTALLY lost my dinner. That was aweful! Yet other times I'm starving...go figure. DH thinks my band is flipping up and down (kinda pivoting) from the stomach flap they use to hold it in place but, since it's loose it has room? Kinda makes sense I think.....but I don't want the reflux back either ya know? Ohhhh the termoil of it all lol. Anyway my confession is my true weight is at 206.5 today.....frustrating considering I was 200 in Jan...but I shot up to 208 when they took me off the meds too so at least 2 pounds were down this morning. EH....I can't think about it anymore, I need a break from the scale. So I better get going now. I'll catch up with everyone soon. Know that I'm thinking of you and hoping you're all doing well and shrinking

Congratulations Kat! 100 pounds wooohoooo. Man that's just freaking awesome!

You had asked how my son is doing and I forgot to answer. He's doing great, he's not so nervous driving now and no pain that he's complaining about. In Sept he can get back to his regular routine.

Wow just realized I was in the middle of posting this when I had to go do something. 2 hours later hopefully it will still post lol
Eileen the unfill has definately helped the acid reflux but, I get hungry more often. The problem I'm having is sometimes I can eat so much and other times I take a few bites and I'm pbing or throwing up. It's crazy. I see the doc again in October.

Hey Deb, Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I've a run lately myself with the acid reflux. I wish Jones would of done a sip test on me and I might ask for one in Oct when I see him. I don't have the reflux anymore but, now there are times I can eat way too much and other times where I'm getting sick after a little bit. Just too odd and hard to nail down because it's constantly changing. When will you be having the sip test? Hope you enjoy your camping
