Unfortunately, ANY protein drink will have flavor to it just because of what it is...the flavored ones mask the horrid taste. IMHO. I couldn't stomach any of the unflavored powders. I ended up using Slim Fast Low Carb (because it has more protein in it than the Slim Fast High Protein drink...go figure) or I'd use AES Edge (something like that found in Walmart or GNC) had a purple blue label chocolate protein powder. I would mix the powder in skim milk, and add in 1 tsp of peanut butter and 1 tsp of sugar free Banana Pudding mix. The peanutbutter and banana pudding took the edge off the flavor of the protein powder stuff.

Mine is on the truck and on it's way YIPPEEEEE So can I ask a question? Why is it that I haven't read anywhere the weight people have lost each week with their BodyBugg. It sure would be helpful to know it truly works when you make a 500 def. every day...should be a pound lost right? Anyone seeing success weight wise so far? I'm looking forward to having that PUSH to exercise and be able to SEE the results even if the scale hasn't shown it yet

Hi Diane, Here is the rib recipe. Melt-In-Your-Mouth Barbeque Ribs 2 sides pork spareribs (about 6 pounds), separated 1 (28-ounce) can chunky tomato sauce (smooth is fine if you can't find chunky. We use smooth.) 1/3 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon chili powder 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Place the spareribs in the bottom of a slow cooker. In a medium bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Reserve 6 tablespoons for BBQ Pizza. Pour the mixture over the spareribs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. This recipe makes enough so you can have pulled pork sandwiches with the remaining meat. Just pull it off the bone and shred it with a fork. YUMMM I'll have to look for my chicken recipe

Howdy folks... Kat - You truly have a wonderful outlook on what's going on with you and you know what? That's going to help you through whatever treatments you have to have. You're inspiring You must know Reiki Darcy - We're here for you...and routing and praying this will soon be over for you and in your favor as it should be. Don't be such a stranger girl....my shoulders are here to lean on . We all need it sometimes. Pat - Howdy my friend. Thank you for calling the other day I love hearing your voice and I truly appreciate the support and kindness you've given me. One of these days I gotta get there to visit ya Hmmm maybe we should make plans! Betty - Are you totally up to par now? Eileen - Girl....cooler weather is coming..time to cook up some good stuff for meals during the week. Do you folks like ribs? Do you have a crockpot? Ohhhh you should try that recipe I think I posted here earlier. If not I can send it if you'd like. Another great recipe is Chicken Caccatore (sp?) in the crockpot. Yummmo. Hows the water coming? I'm finally getting mine in...errr well I was until this fill. Now I'm going slower to make sure I don't have a problem. Cindy - You must be one busy gal. Hope all is going well. Mandy - WHEW you made me tired with all the stuff you cooked up and put together for your meals. It's actually a very good idea. I've done that myself but, not as much. One thing I do do is, If I'm cutting peppers for a meal or onions I'll cut extra since I'm at it and I'll put them in individual sandwich bags and freeze em. Saves me time later when I cook. I'll julian some, dice some etc. Signgirl - How is ya? Jetti - congrats on your date and approval. Patty - So sorry you're being affected by the fires. My gosh it's terrible whats going on out there and now their finding some of the fires were started by arsonist...OMG unreal! I hope you and the boys are safe and breathing fresher air soon. Ok I'm sure I've probably missed someone and I'm sorry for that. It's not intentional but, once again I can't see farther back and my memory stinks. Pat said I can click advanced now but, ya know ever dang time I've done that I've lost my postings. Don't want that to happen again grrrrr. Anyone have any special plans for the weekend? I think we're headed to NH for some fleamarket. Something to do with a couple friends of ours...start some Holiday shopping. My fill seems to have calmed down today which is cool. Although this liquid phase boooooooo, I'm hungry but, I'm really really trying to follow the 3-4 days liquids, 3-4 days mushie then solid rules.....so ice cream is a liquid right? I'll let it melt first lol.

Ok after not losing a thing for a year...I purchased it I just bought an elliptical machine 2 weeks ago and starting using that but it will be great to have the combination of both. I figured I've joined gyms before and didn't use em so spending the $229 is cheap compared to joining another one. I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl to get my ARS moving in the right directions hee hee.

I've been peeking in and letting you know that the BodyBug is still on sale on 24hourfitness for $279.20 and then with the BLC24 you still get the $50 off for $229.20. I just played around with it and that's what it's coming up with for a price. The Digital display is on sale for $79.96 too the code didn't work for that one but, at least it's still $19.99 off. Not too bad....I have it on my internet...contemplating buying it hmmmmmmmm

Hey Dez - CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy that's great to hear. I'm with Dez on this we need to get together. I don't know about you folks but, getting to the support group meetings hasn't been easy for me. Hence why I haven't been to one. Lets work out something for our group to meet and discuss stuff. I live in Taunton...anyone interested in having it at my house so we can actually talk and feel free about it. We can all make some band friendly eats to bring so we don't have to worry about a bill or taking the table space too long. Let me know what you think. I'm still game to meet at the place we met before too I'm doing ok here...cept I haven't lost and figured out I weigh the same as I did last October. Between the being taken off the high blood pressure pills (yeah) but, gaining water weight back no so yea, then the fill that made me too filled so I couldn't swallow my own saliva so a slight unfill the next day, and then the acid reflux issue causing me to get an almost complete unfill....so from jan to now I put on 12 pounds with those issues. It's been a tough 2007 but, I'm still thankful because without the band it would of been alot more for sure! I'm seeing Jones on Wed and hoping to get a slight fill. I need to go slow on these so I don't overdo it and end up with reflux again. That was just too

I've caught the show a time or two myself an enjoyed it. I keep forgetting when it's on though so I miss it or it coincides with shows my whole family watches. No Tivo in this house. I didn't know about the sister...but I can tell you for one...a band that is too tight is NO fun. I had a fill in April and drank fine in the office. By the time I got home and all that night I couldn't swallow my own spit! I kept PBing on my own saliva it was aweful but, my doc saw me right away the next day. Thank goodness. He took some saline out and I did fine.....I think I aggravated my stomach though because I suffered from Acid reflux from that point on. I had it so bad I woke up from a dead sleep feeling like I was drowning..finally in July he took out all but .75cc of saline. Had to take time to heal...now it's time to try again because I can eat way too much UGH.

Hey Pat....the chick is in her 40's! I can't even believe she's an assistant manager with the stuff she's pulled. The store manager wanted to make my son an assistant manager but, the district manager said he wasn't old enough, has to be 18. So if that gives you any hint as to how well he does there with the exception of her. I'll PM ya.

Man I tried to edit a word and screwed the entire post up so I've learned forget about the misspellings because ya know what....we're not that fussy in here Hope you hear from your insurance soon. msmary - Welcome to the group. I'm 43, married and have one son 17. I live in Massachusetts...gold Ole' New England I landed in here I think because a "new post" was posted and I asked a question or answered one not realizing it was the NJ thread. These wonderful ladies and gents (sometimes we have them here but, they don't post much heh heh) accepted this Bawwwwstin gal and I've been chatting mostly in here ever since. I find this thread far more friendly than most and never have to worry about being ripped to shreds. Sure we have our differences in opinions but, ya know we allow them Right gals? So....I may of missed someone but, you can blame that on this killa headache that started to come on about 30 min ago....gonna have to go lay down I think. Have a wonderful, peaceful day my friends. Howdy folks...taking some time out from my house cleaning to catch up with ya'll. Hmmm not much has changed work wise...ssdd as Eileen would say Always lots to do and not enough people to do it so one project, one issue at a time. My son is still having an issue with his job and that really has me upset and concerned. I feel bad because the kid works really hard, loves his job and the store he works for and to boot he's never had a problem with any other manager or assistant manager like he is with this particular one. He's tried his best but there is no way this assistant mgr is going to like him in his eyes. He does what he's told but, she keeps saying he doesn't. Even the store manager doesn't understand what the issue is and now the district manager is involved. Lets just say it's basically harrassement and we're keeping documentation. I've been in management long enough to know what this person is doing is wrong...my son isn't perfect but, he doesn't deserve this stuff. Especially when, like I said, every other person he's worked for has loved him, asked him to work extra hours, called him in and they all wanted to work with him. So my son is down in the dumps thinking upper management is going to go with this assistants managers word instead of believing him because he's only a teenager. I told him that doesn't mean you lay down and be a mat for anyone...just keep being yourself, keep doing a good job and we'll see what happens. UGH. I just feel bad for him and honestly he is a caring kid and always tries to be nice to everyone but, this is taking a toll on him I've had to tell him unfortunately with some people you can be the perfect employee or friend and they still won't like you, as long as you like you....then you're life is good. Sooo enough of that yucky stuff...DH went out fishing this morning, DS is on his way to work at the open house at his high school and then off to his job....I may have some breathing space to "me" time. I don't get that too often Hmmm wonder what I'll do. Better do something so I don't eat us out of house and home...will power is just not there. I'm reading this book...The Four Agreements...wow...tough agreements to keep but, I can definately see how life would be simplier that way Betty - Are you feeling better now? Computer fixed? Don't ya just hate it when the computer doesn't work right? Drives me insane...I have a computer geek in the house but, it takes some coaxing to get my computer worked on lol. I can understand after working on them all day not wanting to continue into the night fixing them but, it's better than hearing your wife hemm and haww cause she can't check her email hahaha Pat - Well if he tripped over your boob you could TAKE the hat hahaha. Too cute, you made me laugh. How is the boat looking going? ya know it aggrevates me that we actually have to call to keep our numbers from being sold. Like we don't pay enough! Now they want to sell our names and numbers for a profit grrrrrr. I just made that call for our 3 phones. Thank you for the reminder here Cindy - Sorry your DD isn't feeling well, hope she's doing ok today. You've never PBd huh? Never had that slime or foam crawl up your throat until you cough and bingo? Wow...good for you. I too get that golfball in my chest although I've only gotten that once since my unfill. I'm seeing my doc Wed and hoping for a slight fill...gotta go easy as I don't want reflux back. I'm scared but, I need to do something to help me not eat so much. I KNOW better but, I do still eat too much grrrr. Like you I haven't budged in weight...although I did go up 12 since january and I can't shake it. I go up and down 2 pounds sometimes 4 in a week it seems. Depends on my water and salt intake. Stinks! Hopefully my elliptical workouts will start helping. Mandy - I wish you the best with your interview sounds like a good job because when the kids aren't in school, you won't be either. When my son was little I was thinking of becoming a crossing guard just for that reason. However it was going to cost me more in uniforms than I would of made....whats the point. In the end the divorce was coming so there was no way I could quit my full-time job at that point. The pictures came out great and you look great in them. Jack certainly was cute hee hee Kat - I'm glad your tests are over and I'm sending my thoughts and some healing light your way for the results. We're here for you! Sounds like you had fun with your GD..I know I'd love to cook with a little one. My son has no interest. When I borrowed my friends daughter for a day we baked cookies, made a cake, made some jewelry and did crafts together. I was exhausted but, it was great fun. To this day I call her my crafty girl when I see her and I got her going with her interests in crafts. Hope you can relax a bit perhaps pamper yourself with a nice pedicure Oh I love those hee hee Eileen - I hope you got the rest you needed last night How have ya been girlfriend? I've missed your noises and jokes cause you keep me laughing. Hugs! Gotta run and take my son to the open house...hopefully I'll finish personals later

Who the heck can edit with all those smilies between the letters. Anyone ever figure out whats up with dat? Home today....tummy wasn't feeling so good. Probably due to the fact that I'm detoxing huh? haha. At least it's working. So has anyone made any nice home recipes lately? Howdy Pat, Mandy, Cindy, Eileen, Betty and everyone else I can't see cause I forgot to hit "go advanced" hahaha. Pat - IET (Integrated Energy Healing) it's a type of holistic healing that uses accupressure like points called integration points. At these points the flow of energy comes close to the surface of the body and is where the transfer of energy is very efficient. With IET we work on clearing the cellular memory of the bad memories, feelings etc and replace it with positive, healing energy. Lots to it but, I just finished the basic course. There are actually 3 more levels of training in it I have to go through in order to teach it. That will probably take another year. I've already had a year of training in Reiki and I am teaching that to others now too. I'm really into all types of healing the body and mind including herbal, organics, aromatherapy etc. :Banane10: Of course this is only in addition to seeing a regular doctor. It was quiet eye opening yesterday and I'm glad I took the course :Banane10: I'm actually thinking of signing up for a holistic online school to take a bunch of courses and get credit for them. Reflexology is another one I'd like to try so we'll see. The cash has to be there to pay for this stuff of course lol How is everyone doing? Did anyone want to come to my house and do my laundry too? Man I don't like Sunday's for that but, then again when I get down about it I think back to the days where I actually had to sit at a laundramat and do it ...yeap it's not so bad now Love yas
