I like the low carb slim fast chocolate flavor myself 20 grams of protein as compared to the 16 or 15 you get from the High protein slim fast...GO FIGURE! Definately read your labels. Doing ok here folks...had the slight unfill as my doc rolled his eyes and proceeded to tell me that if I lost 10 more pounds my band may not be too tight and the acid would stop. Ummm doc You did a almost complete unfill just a few months ago because I was having really bad issues remember? How can I say, I'm coughing all night because of the acid in my throat yet not have you do that again lol. I only want a little taken out to see if it helps...and he didn't want to do it at all. So DH kept an eye on the needle and said it did look like he took a little out so I'm now between 1.25 and 1.50 cc in my band. the 1.50 was too much. I did end up with reflux again last night but, we were up late with Reiki share and I ate too late. Tonight was a Tastefully Simple party so nibbling again kinda late but, it's 9:30 and I won't be in bed until 11-11:30 so hopefully that's long enough to get it to pass through. I'm hoping the acid subsides...or it's the lazyboy for me I guess. See if 10 pounds will help it but, ummm should I say I've lost 7 since my fill and it still happened so that's why I went in . UGH. Oh well......just gotta keep trying I'm pooped now...just cleaned up after this party. The samples were all so yummy though. I skipped dinner just so I could go guilt free with the samples  Back to the grind watching every cal tomorrow. TGIF tomorrow yeaaaaaaaaaaaa lol

My address is the same too for the card list...please send me an update with everyone elses Can't stay cause I'm at work but, headed out at noon time to go get a slight unfill. My doc is like Mandy's aggressive with the fill but, man I can't get him to backoff on the unfill too. So I'm going to plead a case for him to only take out .25cc because my deductible is paid off and if I have to come back for another unfill I will but, don't take .50cc...rather not keep playing with this but, back it off a little at a time. Right now the restriction is great all day but the minute I lay down....it all bubbles up grrrrr. Have the thought of getting poked again even though I know it doesn't hurt. Probably more nervous that hes going to freaking totally unfill my band again. I really REALLY don't want that.

babygrl do you have your bugg on right enough or on the back of your arm? If you do, have you cleaned the contacts lately? Sounds like it connects and then disconnets. Maybe you're wearing it too close to the inside of your arm and you keep knocking it off while you walk or move around work? I noticed if I put mine more towards the outside of my arm versus right no the back I make out better and my arm isn't so sore from the contacts. Delicate skin back there

Does anyone know if the constant feeling like you have to burp means you're too tight? Cause I get that alot...it drives me insane. I do have an appointment Wed for a slight unfill but, naturally the reflux didn't happen last night. grrrrrr. I tried not eating past 6pm and that seemed to work for last night. i'll try again tonight and see...then might cancel my appointment. I just know he'll take more out than I want him to if I go. But...I do have that burping and hiccups quite a bit now so hmmmmm still undecided what to do

I have more friends that want the bugg. I noticed too that the website will take that coupon code and take $50 off yet says in red the coupon's not valid. So do they have to honor the discount if they put it up there? Has anyone received a new online coupon code? Where the heck do you find those anyway?

Yikes Crispy Creme bread pudding...holy calories..ummm sounds yummy though hee hee. I figure I watch the show and drool..that must burn some calories right? hahaha Soooo how far is everyone with their Holiday Shopping? I got one person done...pretty good for me lol. Went peeking around yesterday and finally found the turtlenecks I was looking for. Love those things in the winter under my sweaters Then bought lamps for myself....my friend is right. I'm better off shopping online so I don't impulse buy for myself, DH or DS. I always get them too much for Christmas. Anyone else find that if they start too soon they buy too much?

Goooood Mornin' ya'll :woot: Can ya tell I just watched my southern friend on the food Network....Paula Deane. Just love her bubbly personality and who can't smile when she's smilin' hee hee Now if I cooked like her I should just rip the band out and throw away this Bodybugg because man she LOVES butta', real Mayo and DEEEEEP FRYIN' hahaha Gosh that stuff looks so yummy. Heck yesterday she deep fried a pumpkin cake...yeap dipped the baked cake in batter and deep fried it GEESH! Sooooo lets see if I can do a bit of catching up here hmmmm Eileen - Yeap this bugger is really keeping me in line. I have to say it's quite the eye opener :woot: When all along you thought you weren't doing bad calorie wise then you see what a sit down job does to your calorie burn oh man. Lets just say I now get up from my desk and take a quick less than 5 minute walk around the building and it makes a big difference. I was never one to take breaks so I'm actually not using any time I'm not allotted. I go down 3 flights of stairs, walk the building, back up the 3 flights in less than 5 minutes and it's amazing how much it burns. I'm hooked I tell ya lol. It can be a pain when you go out to eat because that food adds up fast but, it keeps me from ordering those fried dishes I so love when I go out and other fatty things because I find myself thinking...how long will it take to burn these calories....oh yea M&M's just don't look the same lol Sounds like you're Holiday shopping already.....hmmm might have to take a peek at Amazon myself Betty - Sounds like you've been pretty busy and I'm with ya on being on the computer after work. Its just so tiring after working reports all day to get back on. I have to do it for this bugg but, that's pretty quick. I do find I don't chat as much and I'm barely able to completely read everyones posts lately. Just too brain dead after the long hours. My commute is really getting to me lately too because the traffic has been so bad lately. It takes me anywhere from 1 hour to 1.5 hours to get in. That's 3 hours a day just sitting in my car UGH. Sounds like you're busy for Thanksgiving too. We're having it at my house this year with mom and her friend coming over. DH loves to make the turkey and he helps me with the rest of it too. My DM is bring the dessert and rolls so we don't have to worry about those. Glad you're liking your new job. Mandy - How is Abi today? Is she feeling better? I hope so. How are you doing and your DH? Are you planning next years trip to Disney already? I wish I could get my son there on the offseason but, it's college next year so that's kinda out. DH is now interested in possibly going there. He didn't realize there was alot there for adults to do too. I tried to tell him but, it took going to dinner with friends last night and that guy saying he's hooked on Disney to get his attention lol Chrispy - Hope you had a good visit with your friend yesterday How did it go? I'm excited about this new guy too and I'm looking forward to meeting him. Good things come in small packages:heh: yumm hahaha my bad! Anne - Sooo glad you're back. Are you enjoying your work? I'm with you on the love/hate relationship with your band. I love mine during the day but, I have to tell ya the night burping and acid is yet again getting to me. It doesn't happen all the time but, it is happening again and now I'm wondering if I need a slight unfill yet again. Cripe....I wish we could do is ourselves! I only need like .25cc taken out but, I know if I go he'll take out more than that grrrrrrrrr. It's like talking to a wall sometimes although this last time he did listen better to me and pay more attention. Probably my file is flagged because of the last visit and me complaining he doesn't pay attention or listen to me and I always feel rushed. That's when I was going through my reflux issue. Well I had an emergency visit and the nursing staff made SURE he spend the time with me. I'm glad you're back :whoo: Cindy - Subing and baking huh? hee hee Oh isn't getting new tires fun...bleck! I had to get them last week myself. I was putting it off until a little later this year but, found a screw in my tire and it wasn't worth paying to fix it knowing I was going to have to buy tires anyway. Sooo I had to get them sooner than I wanted. Got a good deal though buy 3 got one free. These tires were cheaper than those I bought 2 years ago...back then I paid over $400 and the tires were only 40K mile tires..these were $369, I get $69 back and they are 75K tires. So I won't be buying tires at the dealership anymore, rather go to this local national shop for them. Hope the grandparents tea goes well. Sounds like fun actually Jetti - how are you doing with your nausciousness?(spelling of that word is so difficult lol) I hope it's gone away. Pat - Have you got your holiday decorations started yet? Keeping the girls busy with the wrappin? I'm terrible with the wrapping and end up doing it mostly the week before Christmas. Hmmm might have to take the queue from you and Eileen and wrap as I get the stuff. Then again....only if I keep a good list because I forget what I've already bought lol Patty - Your Eggnog recipes sounds good but, where is the egg? I love eggnog but, I won't be having any this year...DH's mom makes an awesome eggnog homemade but, man oh man the real homemade stuff is loaded with eggs and calories yipes! Signgirl and Gr8...hello, hello and howdy do? Hmmm DS is not happy...had the weekend off from work but,the boss just called him in for 5 hours. Cripe I'd be happy having only gotten 8 hours this week in the first place but, instead he's all upset saying he wanted the weekend off but, I told him he shouldn't refuse the hours and just go in. lol. Ohhh pardon me for having common sense in letting them know you're looking for more hours...oh wait it's suppose to be on HIS time lol. Well kiddo until you're a manager or corporate big wig ya gotta do what ya gotta do to get the hours to get the money to pay for those things you want lol. He'll get over it and I'll have a few hours for MOMMY too hee hee. DH is out on his motorcycle, yeap 42 degrees and he's riding with his friends. CRAZY to me! Too dang cold to be hanging on the back of a bike...errr no dear I can't go I have laundry to do and have to pay the bills. I wasn't lying I have my most unfavorite things to do (besides cleaning toilets) but, at least I can do them in the warmth of my own home lol. I'll be getting on the dreadmill later too. DH and I already took a walk this morning more than 3400 steps lol only 6600 more to go for the day. Amazing how many steps you take just cleaning your own house. The next time you hate cleaning your bathrooms.....lets say I burned over 500 calories cleaning 3 bathrooms last weekend Doesn't seem as bad hahaha. While folding laundry, I'm marching in place..it alllll counts It's been working too. Hmmm I think that's it...nothing too exciting on this end. Ohhhhh DH and I went to dinner with an old friend of mine. I actually met this guy through the same dating service as my hubby and dated him a few times before my DH but, we remained good friends. We chat sometimes online and finally decided to get together again because he wanted to meet my DH. OMG him and DH totally hit it off. The old military talk started and lets just say the girls didn't get a word in edge wise hahha. After my DH said he was really glad he met him and he can understand why I liked him. I thanked him for understanding and being willing to meet him. DH said well the way I look at it you chose me and we're very happy together, why wouldn't I want to meet one of your friend. Gotta love the man. He surprised me last week too...I was having a bad day..self doubt kind of stuff...and came home to a nice bouquet of purple carnations and daisies and other flowers. Then Friday he called me at 11am and said....do you realize in 1 hour it was the day and time we first met. I had totally blanked it out because I was so busy with reports I didn't even look at the calendar to know the date I only knew it was payday, casual day and I needed to get the reports done lol. My heart melted that he remembered. It's not a wedding anniversary or birthday...but the day we first met in person. Awwwwwww the big ole' teddy bear certainly keeps my heart light. Ok enough of the mushy stuff and sitting on my ars...I need to get movin' movin' movin...get this body movin' raw hide.... hee hee Love you gals and I'll say it again...anyone ever visiting New England especially Mass or RI PLEASSSSSEEE let me know. Love ta me ya!

Jessica.....Are you still taking your pain meds? Reason for asking...mine made me sick to my stomach after a while. I had to switch to liquid Tylenol. If you're still taking yours maybe you need to back off from it and switch to something a little easier. I found the liquid prescription they gave me too strong for an almost empty stomach due to the liquid restrictions.

One week down and I lost 4 pounds....ummm 2 were because TOM was around and I always gain at least 2 pounds of water retention but, the other 2 were definately from the bugger I'm excited things are finally moving again including myself lol. Just got off the phone with my trainer for the 2nd session. She changed my caloric intake by 100 and my cals burn by the same. Kinda hard to meet the burn at a desk job but, I'm pushing myself and I've had a 1000 cal deficit every day so far. I had to confess to having the lapband because I was only eating on average 991 cals a day..some days it was 650 I think one day was just a little over 1000. She said I must be starving ummmm well ok I have to tell ya my stomach is the size of an egg. Then she understood and showed me how I can move the caloric intake and burn figures myself to adjust things. I'm still loving it but, has anyone had an issue with your arm getting a bit sore form the metal part being constantly on your skin? I've tried moving it around but, it getting a bit sore all over. Almost like a rash wanting to start.

Hello everyone...still playing with my bodybugg...dayum it's making me exercise..I have a measily 75 more steps to get to my 10,000 for the day. Damn I've been doing nothing but treadmill and walks after supper and I ate as soon as I got home. First time I've sat down for a bit, but I gotta go and get the last 75 steps in so I'll jog around downstairs for a bit. Silly what I've been doing to get that 1000 cal deficit everyday but ya know...bout time something got me to my arssssssss lol

Katydot - No my hubby isn't banded just me but, he does need to lose weight. It was funny to see his face when I showed him the difference in what he THOUGHT he was eating versus what he WAS actually eating. The bug has kept him from snacking too. He said Geesh didn't realize how much I ate inbetween until now. Because both he and I think twice before putting something in our mouths now lol. I just bought a bunch of the 100 cal snacks and put them in our downstairs kitchen. So if we want one we really have to think about it and go get it plus when we do...it's only 100 cals.

Ok nothing like having a big post and have it disappear grrrrrrrrrr Hello AGAIN Everyone lol Hope everyone is able to enjoy their Saturday today. It's rainy and very windy here in Massachusetts from the Hurricane that made its way up the east coast area but, fortunately now it's just a storm. It's a great day for cooking so I think I'm going to pull out my crockpot and get something going soon. Hmmm maybe a nice pot roast or pork roast. It's about the only time I can have pork is from the crockpot otherwise my band doesn't like pork I've been doing good at staying away from the Halloween candy mainly because I didn't buy candy to give away this year I got those little bags of Doritos instead. I bought 60 bags and we ran out so next year I have to remember to buy more but, they were a hit with the kids and I'm less likely to eat a bunch. One 100 calorie bag was plenty for me but those little candybars are about 56 cals each and I would of eaten 10 or more of those by now so I'll stick with the Doritos next year too lol. Eileen - The BodyBugg is a device that you wear on your upper right arm with the bugg part on your tricep. The device measures the calories you've burned for the day and you upload that information into the BodyBugg website which is where you also log in your food intake. It combines them together to give you a calorie deficit. If you keep your deficit at 500 a day you'll lose a pound in a week, 1000=2 pounds and so forth. Of course you have to be totally honest with your food intake but, I'm finding it's keeping me honest. This thing also measures the steps you've taken a day which is really cool. You can set it with alarms to remind yourself of many things, I just set mine up to go off (vibrates and beeps softly) at 8, 10, 1 and 3 so I get up from my desk and walk around the entire business office. It takes less than 2 minutes to walk it and it's 174 steps (yeap I counted lol) I don't usually take breaks but, this way I can get in more steps to burn more cals I think I'm going to add a few more alarms You can check out the LBT talk about it here bodybugg signgirl - the price seems to be changing at 24 Hour Fitness centers - weekend specials 11-02-2007 through 11-04-2007 so you'd have to keep your eye out and watch that thread. People paid full price at the beginning then there was was a coupon available for a while which is when I got mine. I paid $229 for mine but, some people actually got it Nov 2nd for $189 plus shipping but, we noticed the price is back up to $329 or so. They may of made a booboo and people cashed in on it, I don't know why they changed the price so quickly otherwise. Some people have ordered it from ebay but, you have to remember you don't get the online support for that and it won't work without it. You end up having to purchase that separately if you don't go through 23hourfitness. You also get 2 calls with a personal bodybugg trainer to familiarize yourself with the website and how to use the bodybugg. She was really nice when she called me...even she doesn't like cardio workouts hahaha so she told me to keep pacing the house etc to get the steps in and that will keep me on track  Well I have to get going...need to get my walk in and get something started in the crockpot. Betty, Cindy, Mandy, Kat, Chrispy, Diane, Pat, Patty and newbies.....Helloooooooooo Have a great day everyone!

I'm loving my bugg...I've only had it 3 full days but, I like that it's making me keep my calories in check. I don't want to NOT hit my deficit so if I hit it and I haven't eaten dinner and I can't get in more exercise then dammit it's water for the rest of the night lol. I'm trying to get all my steps in too and that's pretty hard with a sit-down job. HINT did you know you can set your Bugg to remind you of things? I set mine to go off at 8, 10, 1 and 3:15...it vibrates and beeps and I get up from my desk and walk around my office floor. That's 174 steps in less than 2 minutes(I haven't timed it) but at least it doesn't look too silly with me walking around and I'm getting steps in. I think I'm going to set it to go off more often. I wrote my trainer to see if I can get the vibration only without the beep in case I'm in a meeting when it goes off lol. Don't feel like explaining to the President of the company why my arm is beepin! I also find myself taking the stairs, parking farther away etc to get the steps in. DH and I walked our neighborhood last night and that's 1850 steps. Looking forward to getting the digital display so I can keep a closer eye on what I'm burning during the day. I never take breaks at work but, I may have to do that just to get my calorie burn in  DH got his bugg yesterday and I help set him up on his. Whether he ends up logging all his food or not we'll see. That's going to be the hardest part for him...he was floored today when I measured what he thought was 4 ounces of milk and it was actually 8! The trainer told me people miscalculate their intake by 30-40% when we don't weigh and measure and she recommended a digital food scale. I picked a nice one up at Walmart last night to get myself back in check with the correct weight of foods. Good luck everyone!

yes you did...they are playing with the prices today because I got the digital displays for $59.97 with an additional $20 off because it was over $100 because I ordered two. So with S&H I paid $53.86 each instead of the $99.95 they are saying it is right now. I don't know why they changed the prices other than someone must of made a mistake and after seeing the orders come in they realized it. I'm sure they'll go on sale again. Funny how there are no phone numbers around to check...I bet if you called and told them you saw the lower price you can try to get it again.

Hi Katydot - I ordered mine on the 20th and got it the 30th. I ordered my husbands on the 24th (note it's the day of my fill and I had to fess up on the way to the docs because I wanted to tell the nutrionist June and Jones about it lol) and his says the same as yours PENDING. I have a feeling so many people have ordered them they may be backordered but, we haven't received any emails telling us that. I haven't checked my credit card to see if his has been charged yet. I'm wearing it for the first full day today since I got it so late yesterday. My fill is actually going ok this time. I do find I get acid reflux sometimes but, I called the pharmacy and they told me I can still take the medicine just open the capsule and take the pellits with applesauce just don't chew lol. It seems to work although I forgot to take it before be last night and I did ok. Soooo lets see if this thing helps us along aye? Babygrl - NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Thank you for sharing your weightloss since you've had your bugg Actually...this thing says you can only change your weight on the website once a week...hmmm maybe that will keep me off the freaking scale and from disappointment during the week Happy Halloween everyone! boooooooooo eeeeeeeek!!!!!
