Good Morning Folks...just quick peek in before my morning commute to work. Wanted to say hello and I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th weekend Hubby and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday and it was a wonderful night. (Son stayed at a friends house - great timing *wink*) Anyway...it's a long weekend for most folks and I wasn't sure how many would be in here and I wanted to wish you all a Happy Independence Day. WE are so lucky to live where we do, we really are. Even with these crazy gas prices, I wouldn't change it for the world. ~~~~THANK YOU to all our military past, present and future for keeping us safe and protected. I truly appreciate what you do and have done for us and our country. ~~~~ Love you folks :Banane30:

I'm here and already doing the cabbage patch dance for ya. Hmmm maybe shaking it will shake the last 1.5 off huh? hee hee Congrats on your accomplishments and you're going to be there real soon!
-
BonJosie, sorry to hear about your trouble. I haven't had this trouble but, from everything I've read and the discussions I've had with my provider....it is true that being on liquids for a while will help reduce your pouch in size again.
-
I ordered the unflavored so I could add it in other foods...and personally I just don't care for it but, thats just my opinion. I tried mixing it in all kinds of things but, no luck for me. I have better luck with the AES chocolate flavor and I add about a teaspoon of sugar free banana pudding mix, 1 tsp of low carb Peanut Butter and mix it with skim milk and it's good. Not so much after taste with the other items added

Zoiks didn't realized I miss so many posts. Reflux....well I took the prilosec prescription two nights and both nights slept that was last weekend. Since then I've been up every night with this crap. Some nights I"m coughing like crazy and my chest hurts from the acid other days, I cough a little, take a tums and I'm able to sleep. Craziness! Of course...TOM has been here all week so I don't know if that made it worse or not...so now I'm playing head games with myself. OK now that TOM is almost done...maybe it will go away again and I don't have to worry. So we'll see...if it keeps up again next week (as if a few months hasn't been enough) I'll call my doc and see if she'll prescribe the Aciphex. I'm going to tell her about my banded friends who have had success with it. MAYBE she'll remember I have the freaking band in the first place instead of me having to remind her yet again and believe me and let me try it. All I can say is reflux sucks and it really does make me worry about my esophogus (did I spell that right? don't wanna check lol being a rebel). Cripe one morning at 3am I woke my DH up with all the freaking coughing and choking and I was practically in tears over it. He was concerned and I chopped his head of saying I'm sick of this and I'm getting ready to have it ripped out. Poor man...he didn't deserve it but, he did the right thing, rolled over and went to sleep lol. naturally I got over it and I really don't want this taken out because you know what people...........as much as I'd like to say I have this weight thing under control and I've learned so much....I haven't. Its all my fault, I"m the only one raising my hand or fork to my mouth and I'm the one sitting on my ars in front of this computer since early this morning only occassionally getting up to switch laundry or clean. If I have this taken out I'll be as big as a house again Sad but true so I need to get this reflux under control so I can concentrate on the other things that will get me to goal. Its difficult right now to eat right because nothing sits right in my stomach BLECK. Anywho...enough of my ranting and raving...geesh maybe I belong in that thread huh? Cripe too afraid to post in there after all I've read. People really aren't very nice in there most of the time it's sad. Ok ok enough of this crappyola from me hahaha Last night took a friend out for his 40th birthday with his wife and my DH. We had a blast..one of those places where they cook the food on the table in front of you. Sirloin and chicken for me and took more than half of it home. The others ate all theirs. (Hmmm ya think my band is working?) Had a drink...some peach something or other...man it hit me pretty hard. Naturally I can't drink and eat at the same time (I guess I did learn a little something lol) so I drank it all first. Wooooozie for me after that but, fun hahaha. Wowza great time, great mean....big bill I'll be paying for for a while. Oh well..won't be doing that anytime soon but, DH and I really love these two and they've been going through a hard time with some stuff so getting them out was well worth it. They'd be the people who would drop everything to help us too...nice to have those kind of people in your life. Anyway...my point...after that great fun, drink and meal...got home and upchucked just about all of it. Something didn't sit right..probably the alcohol I"m not used to drinking and then eating so quickly after it. ZOIKs it was ugly. I swear I broke blood vessels in my face and I was seeing stars and once I started I couldn't stop. Cripe! Haven't thrown up that hard in a while. yuck but, saved on some calories huh? Jetti - I LOVE to bake but, eating cake and brownies doesnt' always agree with me. I think what I'm noticing lately or what I'm wondering is....is every time I feel sick caused from white floured things? Does that make sense people? Anyone? So...I have this DVD Hip Hop Abs someone let me borrow WEEKS ago. (Poor girl hope she wasn't expecting me to use it right away ugh) I promised her I would use it today. She's been good trying to get me moving. She's a coach on Beachbody, think I mentioned it before. Anyway since I promised I always keep my promise so I'll do that today and let you folks know how it is Betty - July 4th party sounds like fun actually. Wish I could make a trip to TX I wish I could meet you folks I really do. I love you all lots and you're always so supportive...THANK YOU EVERYONE. yea...I'm going through something huh? I think it's the lack of sleep lol Up and down...hormones are wacked too. I'm still upbeat...but beat myself up. Make sense? Zoiks need to get off this thing before I depress ya all. ok.......trying to Psych myself up to do this HIP HOP chit hahaha. Now if the music is cool that will help.......say a prayer for me folks hahahaha

Hi Pat...no I didn't return my wii or wii fit. My friend asked my son just the other day if he could get her Wii Fit and he said the store isn't allowed to take anymore pre-orders because they have so many they can't keep up with the demand as it is. So unfortunately mom's don't get any priviledges with it either otherwise I'd do that for ya. Have you gone anywhere to reserve it? Can't remember where I left off on my posts. Oh yea...recovered from my son's party. Friends stayed until 10:30pm then on Sunday DH and I got up early and started prepare the 15.5 pounds of strawberries to make jam. We did 6 batches which made 48 half pint jars. House smelled like the smuckers factory  Came out yummy too. I brought some to work with me to give to some friends and I gave a jar to my chiropractor  I enjoy making it...it relaxes me if you can believe that. Getting back to work is tough..trying to catch up on all the emails and work that needs to get done...that and the babysitting and refereeing you have to do :tt1: It's good though. Anyone watching Hell's Kitchen? I really like that show. There is a special on the SPEED network tonight at 8 eastern time on Ridley motorcycles. Those are automatic motorcycles and thought of much like Harley Davidsons. Made here in America and priced like a Harley. Ouch! I was looking into them because they are automatics and 750cc engines but, I just can't spend $18K or more on a motorcycle but, mannnnn they are saaaa-weeeeeeet! hahaha Ok so I'm lost as far as what's going on with everyone. Too brain dead to go reading everything. How is everyone doing with these gas prices? man on man it's killing this house. I commute 350+ miles a week just to work and back so it's costing about $100 just in gas for that never mind weekend driving  My friend and I have decided to commute together so at least we're each saving about $200 a month. Problem is if one gets sick or had to leave etc. Fortunately that hasn't happened but, I had to work through a hell of a headache today. Speaking of headache...what is everyone using for them? Liquid tylenol doesn't cut it and the childrens' chewable tylenol cripe I have to eat 6 of those damn things and it's still not the strength for adults. I sooo miss my Tylenol Go Tabs booo hooo. I really liked those and they worked so well. Throw me some hints. I started taking my prescription prilosec again because I can take the little balls out of the capsules easy enough. It worked and let me sleep two nights but, last night I was up again :w00t: So freaking weird really. I'll keep taking it to see what happens though. Well I have to get going....headache is sneaking back up on me. Kat how are you feeling? Your infection gone now? Welcome to the newbie bandsters...hoping you're healing up ok and if you haven't had the surgery yet....hope all goes well. bye for now. HUGS
-
There definately is liquid Iron you can take. Ask your pharmacist the next time you go in because they usually store it behind the counter. I was on the pill form prior to surgery and asked my pharmacist and that's how I got the liquid form. I have to admit though the taste isn't very good at all. I haven't had to take it for quite some time but, you might also want to ask if you can flavor it. Good luck.

Well so far the party went well...i say so far because the family has all left but my son's friends haven't. I have a slight reprieve for now as they all went to play mini golf but, when their back I'm stuck entertaining again. Man they make a mess! Fortunately my mom whipped up 75 chili dogs so thats what the boys will have to have when they get back because DH is sleeping on the couch so I highly doubt he'll be getting back up to cook more on the grill lol. It was a great day so far...beautiful weather, lots to eat and lots of laughs. My friend my the house I previously owed came and told us a story that had me cracking up to the point of tears. I love it when he and his wife come over because there is always a story with their boys lol. This one was his oldest went to a friends so he dropped the kid off and told him and the other kids father I'll be back to pick him up at 9. Ok so 9 rolls around, he pulls into the driveway no lights on in the house but he knocks on the door. No one answers - dogs barking. 15 min later he's getting ticked because no one is home yet. 40 min later he's ticked to no end, calls his wife she comes out there. He sees a couple walking so he asked them if they had the guys cell phone because he's not home, he told the guy he'd pick up his kid at 9 and here is now 9:45 and they aren't home. What the hell kind of guy is this and the couple said the same thing. Geesh who the hell would do that knowing you were going to pick up your kid. So his wife pulls up she's frantic...their kid doesn't have a cell phone and doesn't think to call so He sends her next door at 9:50 to ask them if they know this guys cell phone. He's fuming in the driveway...she knocks next door which the house was lit up like a Christmas tree. Every light in the house on...the guy answers the door she asks for the number and the guys says...we were wondering when you folks were coming to get him. Yeap....my ex neighbor was at the wrong freaking house for 50 minutes HAHAHAHAHA. Here he is ready to deck the guy that comes home hahahah. He said thankfully the house owners were out to dinner and didn't come home because he probably would of been arrested. As it is now....the guys neighbors now think he's a jerk along with a few other people that heard this guy yelling about what a jerk he was for not being home hahahah. OMG too funny they way he told it. Anyway...too boot I just freaking stubbed my two little toes on my right foot BOOO HOOO. I was cleaning up in the kitchen and forgot i moved the dog dishes to feed the dogs while the kids were gone and crash! Water everwhere, toe nail polish even got knocked off that's how hard I kicked it OWEY. Well....suppose I need to go finish picking up after these slobs before they come home and make more of a mess. Great bunch of guys really but, man typical teenage boys! Donna - Yes I did have reflux before my surgery occassionally. Then it went away right after surgery and came back about 9 months after surgery. I ended up with a 1/2 unfill leaving me about .50 in my band for about 6 months to let things settle down. I had a few fills since and a few slight unfills as well. Right now I think I'm at about 1.75, 2cc's tops in a 4cc band. I really can eat too much, I'm hungry in between but, with this reflux I'm afraid to get another fill. Still, I have lost about 65 pounds..in 2 years...but without the band I believe I'd be bigger instead of being 65 pounds lighter. So no regrets in my decision with the band...but I really do wish I didn't have this reflux issue. I need to figure out something...time for me to see my pcp again I think. Pat...What is a RLS pill? Might have to ask my doc for something other than the prilosec 20 mg the doc has given me. That just doesn't seem to do the job. Doc told me to take Mylanta at night on top of this too yuckkkkkooooooo. That stuff is horrific to swallow. Oh well...better get back to cleaning  Hopefully tomorrow I can rest for a bit before heading back to work for the week. EWWWW lol

Eileen...you're able to take the OTC Prilosec? The pills don't get stuck? I just might consider taking that, it's worth a try. Most of the time, I still get it even if I don't eat past 6 and I go to bed at 11. I swear I've tried so many things it's just nuts. I really REALLY don't want an unfill because I can already eat too much in my opinion. I hate a whole hotdog in the bun with chili and cheese yesterday  Yet other days I'm lucky I can eat half. I just don't know. I really do think this thing flops around in there when it's not tight with fills. I think right now I'm at 1.75 in my band. I see him again in August.......just not sure what to do. All I can say is I'm back up there again and with that said I haven't lost anything since October 2006 because what I weigh now is what I weighed then UGHHHHH. My fault....my fork....my hand that's raising that food to my mouth and my head that's making all the wrong choices. Plus I can't seem to keep my lazy ars moving enough. It was hot as heck for a few days used the pool but, that's about it. Haven't been walking, no DVD's. Soooo what is it that I need to kick my ars to get me to move? Ohhhh I know it's my son's graduation pictures flashing on my TV right now for his Graduation party today OMG is that really me? grrrrrrrrrrrrrr Congrats on the pedicure and manicure you're going to LOVE it! Pat - I've tried tums before bed, while its happening etc. The before bed helped for a while but, then it stopped. It's the first thing I grab when I wake up with acid and it does calm it down but, I end up having to get up and play solitaire on my computer for 30 minutes to let everything go back down again before I can go back to sleep. THAT alone isn't helping with weightloss because I'm not getting the sleep I need. Thank you for the suggestions though I really appreciate it. I'll find something to help this out...hmmm maybe I need some of those screwdrivers lol At least I'll be relaxed...maybe then I won't get so aggravated and what this band ripped out because I can't sleep. Oh poor hubby had to listen to that the other day and me crying. I was so freaking tired I couldn't help it. Betty - I went to Laconia, NH for Motorcycle week this past Thursday. I didn't drive my own bike though hopped on Hubby's and we went with 2 other friends. It was about 380 miles total riding that day. My butt should be flat after all that but, all it did was spread out lol I got myself a leather vest while I was there and had a pretty butterfly patch sewn on it and I got a couple of those do-rags for your head since I end up with helmet head and man my hair is terrible after that. Man what a biotch trying to find a female looking vest that fits. The people that make them must all be shrimps because their 3X is even tight. I got one with the leather strings down the side so I could let it out a little. Cripe! Anyway, I feel better having something on my back while riding. I rode my own bike to the chiroprator yesterday 36 miles total....that's alot for me. I haven't driven my own motorcycle since before May 15th because of my accident. I was a bit wobbly the way up but did much better on my ride back after getting used to the throttle  Of course I re-ran over some squished squirrel or something in the road...didn't see it until it was too late because I was too busy looking 12 seconds ahead of me lol Fortunately it had been there quite some time and wasn't gooey ewwwwwwwww lol Well my son's graduation party is today so I have to get going. I've been getting things ready since yesterday. Yesterday scrubbed the patio furniture, cleaned up the house, did laundry, went grocery shopping, made potato salad, macaroni salad, brownies and a dessert platter...today running around setting it all up and threw in getting my car inspected after for all the damage repair. Can't afford for my insurance to think I didnt' get it done when it was $6500 worth of damage and that was a discounted rate geesh! Ok time to get moving setting more up. sorry I missed lots of personals on folks. I love ya though  Miss you all and hope you're doing better than I am weight wise. God I'm getting so discouraged and to boot I know it's my own doing! Anyone have any ideas on how to kick ars and get moving again? Please send the ideas along Hugs!

Hello everyone...it's 1:26am and I'm up with acid in my throat again. Makes me cough myself awake. I thought maybe I'm not hydrated enough and so my body can't wash away the acid naturally. So I tried to drink more Water today and bingo I'm up again. Last night was terrible with it and it kept me up most of the night. Got so bad in the middle of the night I ended up crying and telling my husband if this keeps up I want to have them rip this fricken thing out of me. Yeap...I even said it...almost screamed it  First time I've said it in the 2.5 years I've had it. Honestly......I can eat more than I should yet I get this reflux so really am too afraid to have it tightened more. I'm ok all day long because I'm standing or sitting straight up but, at night even with the head of the bed tilted this happens. It's been happening alot lately and I don't understand why. I'm not doing anything different that I can see than I was a month ago. Yet it seems pretty bad. Just getting tired again I guess and crankiness is coming with the lack of sleep. So yesterday was Tuesday and we ended up on a motorcycle ride (me on the back of DH's bike) that lasted about 4 hours. Went to get a bit to eat with a friend. It was a nice ride but, we were dodging the rain clouds for sure. It poured on our bikes while we ate lunch.....lunch for me was 1/2 a cheese burger with only the bottom bun and about 6 fries. I couldn't eat more if I wanted to. Then while I was out there DS called to say he was done with his college orientation and on his way home. He beat us home and as beat as he was from the lack of sleep....I'm sitting here typing this while he's on the phone with friends talking about the basketball game. Cripe! Tomorrow he'll probably sleep until noon. Craziness but, he's 18 so how much can I yell? Speaking of...one of the other things I did yesterday was take 3 HOURS to clean his freaking room! I made the mistake of thinking.....ok I'll change his sheets while he's gone. Oh my goodness...that lead to seeing some paper on the floor and then to me ripping apart his bed and finding more trash under his bed then I ever imagined. I even took a picture of it so I could give him a WHAT FOR! Cleaned that mess up then moved around the room picking crap up and dusting (yea like he'd ever dust his room!) and in general I ended up with a trash bag full of crap and another bag filled with stuff I was too afraid to throw away that he needs to go through. I gave him a what for when I finally saw him and told him no way no how it would get that way again. No eating in his room anymore either. Of course when he's eating during the night I'm not up to give him hell....although right now he just made something to eat and I'm going to have to yell at him. GRRRRRRR. AND i"m wondering why I'm having acid problems? lol Yeap just caught the...Well what the heck is this going to do to my room if I eat it in there. Ummmmmm maybe because he leaves the packages plates and forks and cups in his room after instead of picking them up and putting them away? Had to pull the "there is no way I'm arguing with your stepfather for the rest of my life because you're a slob that doesn't know how to pick up after yourself." UGHHHH men! I laugh typing this but, man it drives me insane. He's trying to argue that his staying up late shouldn't be a problem. Ummm maybe because you'll get up after noon time tomorrow which naturally causes me to tiptoe around the house and I'm not doing that. Oh boy the lack of sleep is getting to me! I'm turning into a book writer for sure! Sorry folks. Well I better end this now before I really depress you all. Today we're suppose to pick strawberries, that is after DH gets back from an early morning fishing trip. He's taking the boat out at 6 says he'll be back at noon and go with me. Surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre that is if I can catch him before he sits on the couch and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Salt water does that to him pretty quickly. Oh yea....TOM is due at the end of the week...great combo this lack of sleep, acid nights and TOM due whew...can't stand myself lol Love yas

Holy crapola didn't realize I typed that much. Sorry folks didn't mean to hog the thread
-
Hey there Donna - You're welcome and you'll get to know us real quick. We're a bunch of goofballs but, we're all here for each other anytime it's needed and even when its not hahaha Pat - Ummm why did ya throw it out? Hell you went through enough to make it and clean up after it hell.....why not drink the rest of it hee hee. I had myself a nice Frozen mudslide today. It was sooo yummy. My band is acting weird so I couldn't finish my french onion Soup but, I certainly finished my mudslide lol. Betty - I'd love to try crawfish...is it more tender than lobster? Cause I don't like lobster because every time I've tried it's been chewy. Definately NOT a band food for me anyway. I saw on the Foodnetwork someone was trying different restaurants...I think it was with the guy that rides his motorcycle...forget his name now. Anyway he found this cajun place that had crawfish and they showed him how to slide his thumb on the tail to get the meat out. Looked pretty cool and sounded yummy they way he described the flavor. Some day maybe I'll be able to try some. Eileen - You sound tired my friend. They still working you to death at that job? Did your position there ever change? We've had rain here today that was pretty heavy for a while but, we didn't get any big storms.....although I could of slept through it hee hee Diane - I have tried the yoga on my wii yet. I haven't been very faithful lately using it either UGH. My son took the wii into his room to play a few games and it hasn't been brought back out again. I have to drag it back out so I have it in my face making me feel guilty for not using it. Eh...that might not work either I get over the guilt too fast lol. Jetti - Whats the countdown now for your wonderful trip. Can i tell ya I'm jealous:tongue_smilie:. Did you find all the clothes you wanted to bring with ya? I have to look for some summer shorts myself...I just hate clothes shopping though. Sunsett - I'm with Eileen, after working on a computer all day I don't care to be lurking around much at night on them. I can't imagine talking about the band all day and then wanting to post again at night either. Hope all is going well. Soooooo...lets see.....I did the Relay for Life walk with my DH Sunday morning from 3am until 5:30am and man I'm sore today. Chrispy was there all night so I was glad we could relieve her and her friends for at least a couple hours so they could sleep. I have to say it was so touching to see the luminaries and all the caring folks out there. So many are touched by Cancer every single day. The 3-4am shift was Jimmy Buffet hour so I was in a straw hat, flowered lay (how the heck is that spelled), Luau shirt, and grass skirt with an oversized plastic margarita glass in my hand...dancing around like a goofball. Hey at least I made Chrispy smile even though she was draggin butt. Finally convinced her to go lay down!!!! (stubborn girl lol) Hubby had on the Luau shirt, LED blinking lights, margarita glass and a lay on his baseball hat lol. It was alot of fun while we sang the songs walking around together holding the teams Lois' Guardian Angels banner. Then the 4-5 shift was backwards hour so you had to turn around and walk the track the other way. We were suppose to wear everything backwards but with everyone sleeping we didn't want to disturb them so we just kept the same garb on and kept walking. Come 5 we were starving and sick of wearing that stuff so DH took his off and I carried it back to the campsite while he kept walking with the banner. Took all that off, raided the coolers for some ice tea and made some quick ham/cheese rollups and walked back to the track. Joined him again until 5:40 and we had had enough. DH had a motorcycle ride planned for 11am so we had to get him home to sleep before he had to leave. It was alot of fun...we're glad we helped out and we'll be there again next year for the same 3-5 shift If you've never been to a Relay for Life...you should really consider it. It's amazingly beautiful and heart touching. Saturday after the relay and getting home at about 6:30am DH slept soundly but, I was wide awake until I laid down to watch some foodnetwork. Zzzzz on and on for a while then at 9 my mom called. Told her give me an hour to sleep then I'll go out with her shopping. Got up and went shopping with her...man my feet hurt. blisters on a toe on each foot. Went out with her for about 4 hours then crashed again. Then out again with my son to pick up groceries and supper UGH. Bringing an 18 year old to the grocery store is expensive...don't do it lol Today...pretty much lounged around the house today. Slept until 9:30 YIKES but needed it. Lots of food network today and watching Worlds Deadliest Catch. The guys are watching the basketball game now so I'm in the computer room for a bit. Getting ready, it being 10pm and all, to go hit the sack. We're on vacation this week...nothing down pat planned but, we'd like to do a few things. My son is going to his overnight orientation at college Monday to Tuesday so we're thinking we'll go to Hyannis/Cape Code Monday night to walk around and eat dinner if the weather is nice. We'd like to go pick strawberries and make jam this week and on Thursday, we're suppose to ride with friends to Laconia, NH for Motorcycle Week. That's a good 3 hour motorcycle ride...my butt is gonna kill me but, it's fun people watching up there. If you've ever been to a motorcycle rally you know what I mean. How many chicks walk around with chaps and gstrings or those leather halter tops is amazing. it's funny because they think their sexy and you can hear the guys all around saying things like "I won't eat for a week now" or "I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole". Yeap...the got attention...not sure it was the attention they wanted. Me...i go in my jeans, tshirt and riding boots lol Hoping to pick up a leather vest to wear when I ride my bike and some chaps...you know the kind that GO OVER my jeans and Tshirts lol Still struggling with my weight unfortunately. IT seems the reflux is back but, not as bad. It is terrible though I wake up coughing and my chest really hurts from the acid. The only thing that makes it stop is getting up and sitting at the computer playing games for about 30 min. Then I go back to bed propped up. Helps the reflux but, then kills my back. Man oh man I'm getting old. I can eat too much...yet getting another fill will make this so much worse. Losing battle I feel I'm fighting. I'm really getting frustrated........sad...down on myself. Yea, I know I've done well but, at the same time when I'm walking past a store front window...I can see myself and that side view really sucks I'm thankful for what i have lost, angry because I was under 200 and now I'm back up way past that again so much so I've decided to change my freaking weightline in my signature again. Might as well face the fact that I'm no longer until 200 and won't be for a while. As my signature line says...livein the present moment wisely and earnestly so better be honest about what my weight is. OH lordy....ok now that I've totally depressed myself....I'm going to get lay down. Love you gals!
-
Welcome to NJChat Donna and good luck with your surgery:)
-
Can you not do chewables? I take flintstones chewables because I don't like the taste of the Centrum chewables. I'm not sure I've seen liquid vitamins but, you might consider doing a search online to find them Good luck.

Kat...the ups and downs of healing and the aftermath from such a drastic surgery will get your emotions all in an uproar. Remember that and I hope your DH understands that. No matter what was said, you two have been through alot together and you'll get through this too...one day at a time my friend. Sorry to hear about your infection I'm sure that's taking a toll as well. Take it easy and I hope you're doing better today. Mandy - I must of jinks the room with my accident. Sorry to hear about yours. Are you getting your car fixed? I just got mine back last week and they did a wonderful job on it. I'm still going to the chiro myself, he says I'll have to go for quite some time but, we'll see. Its feeling better but, I get really stiff in between visits unfortunately. Sometimes I'm still getting headaches too. How is your knee doing? I like the scooter too but, didn't you get a motorcycle? Are you riding that? Jetti - You're memory isn't bad......do what I do hahaha go back and read the threads. Hell I can't even remember what it is you said in your last one hee hee. It's hard sometimes isn't it? Are ya starting to pack for your trip yet? Betti - My pool is still cloudy. DH upped the PH and now it's too much so now he put chemicals to bring it down. It's been difficult because of the extreme heat and all the pollen. I checked though and I can actually see the bottom a little So we're getting there. How are you doing? Is that foot all healed up now? I haven't been out riding because of the accident. I'm hoping to get out there this weekend though. Diane - The party was actually fun. I had a good time....I was nervous because it was my work client's house but, it was totally different outside of work. We had a good time and stayed pretty late. Eileen - Are ya peeking in ? yooo whooo heh heh. Miss ya goilly. Pat - Yooo Pat....so did you get yourself a "good" employee this time? I just got notice from another one so I'm back having to interview UGH. Just hate that job! Everyone comes in nice and perfect...you hire them and all down hill. Not all of them but, some. We're struggling with a few now...not sure they'll make it but, we'll see. I had to do the hiring for the whole company so I hired quite a few. So hard right now. Well ladies....gas hit $4.05 here today. UGH. Some stations have $3.99 that's about the cheapest. They say Massachusetts is one of the cheapest states for gas right now but, I'm not sure about that. Son is all graduated.....getting ready for college. I'm having his Graduation party on the 21st and you're all invited :cool2: Don't I wish you could make it! I'd love to see ya! I'm also having a cookout for family and friends on July 26th and you're all invited to that too :w00t: Plenty of room for sleepin if ya wanna stay here and you don't mind a futon or air mattress We got the good news that my biggest account is staying with us doing their billing. That was good to hear! I really like working with them so I was happy. Ummm dinner is calling my name and then the pool. Then we have to measure the deck to price out the floorboards that need to be replaced. The previous owner did something fancy in making the deck board cut so that it shapes like a diamond. Unfortunately that means more end surfaces to dry up and curl...big dummy. So now we have to replace them all and we're just going with the straight boards. I'd love to do that plastic composite stuff but, wow that's pricey. Can't do that this time around...not with these gas prices! Stay cool my friends.

Wow girl 3 weeks away huh? My employer would have a fit...what do you do for work? Gosh that sounds so nice to be away for 3 weeks. Hmmm teach me how to get that where I work hee hee.

Hey there Betty and Eileen, Nice to see you too :incazzato: Its really hot here..yesterday was 98 in the sun and today is about the same. The cookout/barn open house was alot of fun last night but, I swear my hair turned into a brillo pad! My gosh it's extremely humid and my hair doesn't do well. All part of being a redhead I guess hahaha. My poor pool still isn't ready either so I can't jump in to cool off. We bought more chemicals and something extra to help with the cloudiness. Hopefully it will work and work fast! DH is off to his motorcycle course today, it's 11:16am and DS is still sleeping GEESH! I'm in the middle of doing laundry and cleaning but, stopped to say HELLO...So HELLO hee hee Gotta get back to work because if I sit too long....I won't get back to is UGH. Hugs!

Hey there Betty - You're right we've become a quiet group including myself. We're all just getting pretty busy from what I'm reading. Hopefully things will slow down for everyone and we'll all get back in here to write more  The good party is we always know we have each other when we need it Today was my son's high school graduation and we just got back from that. He had to be there for 10 and it seemed to take forever for people to get the thing rolling. SO many people where there and MANY came late. What cracked me up was at the end when the kids were walking out in their lines some of the parents got up and walked out in the middle of the line of kids. What the heck! They weren't smart enough apparently to realize that the kids were suppose to march out first then everyone else follows so in the middle of the video of the graduation these lucky kids will get to see their ding dong parents not waiting. Everyone was looking at them like they were nuts and HOW RUDE! We went out to a nice restaurant after the graduation with his father, aunt and grandmother. His grammy was so proud...she's 88 going to be 89 in August. She was sitting on an isle seat so when my son walked by in the line he bent down and kissed his proud grammy. Brought tears to my eyes. They have a very special bond...always have. She always says "That's my boy!" She told him today she didn't think she'd ever see this day (thinking she's too old and wouldn't make it.) My son turned to her and said Grammy you'll be doing this again in four years....she just hugged him. Anyway we had a wonderful time and I'm so proud of him  Tonight I've been invited to a big party that the Administrator of the account I do work for is having. I thought that was nice that I was invited considering I'm really an outside vendor that they've hired. I feel more like a part of their group then not really. Even they said the same thing...they don't feel that I'm someone they've hired they feel I work with them not for them. Nice feeling. So DH and I may ride the motorcycle there and stay for a few hours...not sure. It's so hot we may end up in the car just so we can have shorts on for the outdoor party. We don't ride the motorcycle with shorts...too many rocks and bugs hit you besides if you ever fell off you'd really mess up your skin. It's 98.5 here in Southern Massachusetts today. My pool isn't clear yet  DH has gone in it but, me...I need to be able to see the bottom so I know I'm not swimming with anything :blink:hahaha. Betty - I haven't done much riding on my bike because of the accident I had a few weeks ago. I just now got the ok to do more stuff and to drive a car on my own. I might take her out for a spin tomorrow sometime. DH is off all day tomorrow at an Advanced Motorcycle Riding training class. He never took a formal riding class so I signed him up  After completion he'll be eligible to get a discount on his motorcycle insurance so that will be nice. Diane - I agree i like it when you unlock more stuff on the wii. Hopefully I'll get more time using it...I needed the ok and I have it now  I love the hoola hoop hahaha Sounds like things with your job are nuts...I do hope it gets better for you. Trish - Congrats on your band date. It will be here sooner than you know it. I know we all had the surgery jitters....something would be wrong with you if you didn't! You're going to do great and feel great after its all said and done. Then you'll be on your way to the healthier you, you're been wanting. Good luck and best wishes with it all. Jetti - Any room in your suitcases for a Massachusetts stow-away? I'd LOVE to take a vacation away but, man with a kid headed to college it's tough. Not sure I'll be going away away anytime soon. First things first then I'll get there. Good deal on finding the better prices too. That's great! When did you say you were leaving? Kat - I think you'd love the wii and the workouts and...it will keep your little visitors busy too  Did I read you're going somewhere? I must of missed that post...if you are I hope you have a wonderful time. How is the healing going? Pat - Ohhhh Pat...where is ya girlfriend? How are you doing? I know you must be out there on that Harley of yours  Hope all is going well for you. Eileen- a Saturday and no post from our thread queen...our founder? Now I know we're all busy for sure hee hee. I miss ya girly...hope you're doing ok. How's the karate guy doing :Dancing_wub: we need pictures as proof ya know heh heh Well....I need to figure out what the heck I'm going to bring to this "Open Barn" party tonight. What do you bring when they already have too much food and drink? I'm clueless...maybe a bottle of wine for the hostest I guess. I can't go empty handed...it just wouldn't feel right. So I better go figure out what the heck I'm going to do  Hugs to you all and have a wonderful Saturday!

Hey Pat...yea that's about right on the price although my son works for a video game place so I get it with his discount  Talk about an accurate scale...nothing like stepping on the thing and it says OHH hahaha. You pick a wii me and she's thin...umm until you step on the dang scale and you watch the BMI thing go up as it goes up your "me" gets fat ZOIKS. The dang thing looks down at her belly too hahaha. It is alot of fun...hula hoops, skiing, step aerobics even balancing, stretching, strengthening workouts. Its fun and since you can change between the exercises the time goes by quickly. It's just getting your ARS on the thing in the first place UGH. My friend just dropped off some CDs for me to try Hip Hop Abs and some of the Turbo Jam series. She's a coach on BeachBody and I joined her team hoping she could motivate me. Well I have those CDs and she's sent me links to WOWY from Beachbody to join her in exercising. I'm signed up for Saturday and Sunday to workout with her so we'll see how that goes She's also one of my Reiki students so I told her she needs to teach her teacher hahaha Work is still nuts.....DH is putting a ceiling fan in our bedroom so I have to run and help him you know clean up the mess UGH. Plaster all over my sheets ewwwwwwww. bye for now honey bunnies

Hmmm what did I do this weekend.... Friday was a date night...first night in a long time with no one else in the house besides me and hubby. Was weird but really nice Saturday...Had a Medium & Tarot reader to the house for some friends. A family of friends (sisters) lost their mom last year to ovarian cancer and the youngest is really having a tough time...so I brought my friend who does mediumship here so they could have time with her. What a beautiful time really....lots of tissue...but lots of fun and laughter. Chrispy isn't a blood sister to them but, part of the family really so I got to see her again too Always nice to have friends around. Got the house nice and clean with DH's help...that was really nice so I was able to enjoy myself with my friends all afternoon. Sunday...Taught a Reiki II class today and then took my son to a graduation party for a friend of his. I've known this friend of his since they went to grammer school together so it was fun seeing him and his parents at his party. Still feel like I"m getting old with these, what used to be little kids now men. Geesh where did that time go? Just got done paying bills...busy day....so hoping to catch a little TV before having to go to bed and starting the week all over again. Weekends sure do fly by don't they ladies? Oh does anyone out there have a Wii? I have one and we got the Wii fitness program...I finally got the ok after my accident to not have to wear the neckbrace so I've been trying to do the Wii Fit a little each day. Well I've made 3 days so far and it's been fun. I'm hoping to do it at least 3 times this coming week...it's a start  Gotta get this butt moving...my weight listing says 205 but that's in my dreams right now...I'm right back up to 211 AGAIN! 2.5 weeks of not being able to move or drive myself anywhere and BINGO...what did I do to keep busy? Oh yea all the bad stuff..the no no, instant weight to the hips and tummy no nos. Gotta get back on track. Anyone interested in a exercise challenge this month? Yea yea I know Gun Ho at the beginning then peeter out but, hey it's worth a try so I figured I'd ask  Walking counts......swimming counts.......sex..if it's more than 2 minutes counts HAHAHAHAHAHA
