  6. Hi I'm Bipolar too and kept on with my Seroquel. My bypass was extremely successful and I have never had the urge to binge or overeat. Good luck with your surgery.

    Bypass reversal??

Would also like to know why? The run-up to my op were many months of careful decision making and liaising with various doctors who specialize in their respective fields. This was all to make sure I was a good candidate and to best equip me to make the final decision. My bmi is now 20 and I feel great. I eat 3 full and 3 snack meals a day and I enjoy all of them. There are also huge medical benefits. Why do you feel like you would like to go back?
  9. Feeling a bit concerned. I'm taking all my Vitamins that I'm supposed to and have been fine up until I reached my goal weight. I'm struggling badly with energy later on in the day and really craving sweets! Anyone else had this and what did you do?
  10. I'm 4 months post op and curious as to winning meal options for the fish eating vegetarians out there? Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App

My daily targets: 3 months post RNY 70g Protein 50g Carbs 15g Fat Plenty water: 6- 8 glasses I'm doing really well on this!!
  16. I'm interested to know what your daily calorie goals are and how it divides into fats, carbs and Proteins. I'm 3 months post RNY Tia Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App
  17. The egg comment was more in response to Lucky2Loose's comment that she doesn't count fat as long as it's "good".. I'm sure the same could be said for avo?
  18. OK so a hard boiled egg is 64% fat (good fat), 3% carb and 33% protein. Do you count that fat as carb?

    back to full fluids?

I did it too. Remember shakes are sliders and your pouch is already used to holding something... So you will drop but then you will again adjust once food is introduced. I then started losing again!

  23. Im 3.5 months post RNY and have lost an amazing amount of weight. I've been extremely strict with myself! I went to a year end function and helped myself to a few Snacks as a treat.... Two days later I weighed in and had picked up over a kilogram / half a pound!!! It's coming off very slowly too... With ONLY shakes and lots of exercise. Can anyone shed any light or hope? Am I going to be on shakes for the rest of my life in order to maintain my weight? Sent from my SM-G900F using the BariatricPal App
  24. How did you experience this? Did you pick up weight initially? My daily intake is still under 800 calories but I am still picking up as I introduce soft foods (veggies, eggs etc) Any hints, tips or insight as to why ones weight could jump up as foods are introduced and did it rectify itself?
