I'm only 3 months out and am experiencing mega hair loss myself! I take 10,000mcg of Biotin everyday but it doesn't seem to be helping. My scars are still a bit red but I've been putting Vitamin E on them since they healed over and it seems to be working. Hopefully, someone will give us some good advice for hair loss!!! I'm only 5 days post op and am suppose to be on clear liquids for 3 weeks, but on day 3 post op I needed something that wasn't sweet tasting and ate a little cottage cheese. I was afraid I'd really messed up but I never got sick or felt bad, just felt good and satisfied! Glad to see someone else can eat real food so soon after surgery, just wish my Doc would approve! I'm post op 5 days and I can hardly handle the nectar, it gags me every time I try to drink it! I'm hoping with time I will be able to handle it. Mine is Syntrax Nectar. I'm also having issues with my Protein shakes so I just ordered unjury unflavored protein. The only thing that I'm able to drink without a problem is Better than Bullion, and Water with a splash of G2 or Nestle Splash. I hope you find something soon to help you!!! I've been drinking flavored Water called Nestle Splash. It is not carbonated and no calories and comes in several flavors. I do add more plain water to mine because they do taste sweet!
