    November sleevers?

@@DuckOfEvil "It's crazy how there is no standard for diet preop and how much it varies from surgeon to surgeon. At my clinic you have to lose 10 lbs 12 weeks preop and an additional 10 during the 2 week liquid diet and you have to use the product the clinic has chosen during that 2 weeks. " I have a friend who had to do that. It's just their way of pushing their product. Just stay positive and know that the pre op diet won't last forever!
  2. So I'm having surgery on November 11th and I'm set on the VSG but have been worried that that might not be the best option because I do get heart burn when I eat high fat foods. It's not an everyday occurrence but every couple of months if I splurge I do get heartburn Has anyone else had the VSG who has heartburn every once in a while?? Any information you have learned through experience or from your doctor would be very much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. When I first went to my dr about the surgery she was very negative and flat out told me it wasn't likely to happen. But I didn't let that deter me. Just remember that you are your own advocate. There is no dietitian, nurse, or doctor that will make this happen for you. Just stay positive that this is a long process. And it's going to work out in its own time. It may not be in the time frame you want it to but just stay positive and keep fighting for yourself Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
