I understand that at this particular moment it feels like your entire world is falling apart, fortunately for you it is only a feeling. When things are going wrong the first thing that we want to do is to pinpoint a blame (cause and effect). As far as your rent is concern you can go to the dept. of public welfare or your local community action program and they will point you in the direction to get help with covering your rent. As far as your weight is concern stop comparing your outcome to others. We didn’t all gain at the same time and we are not going to lose at the same time. It takes up to 18 months to lose all of the weight and reach your target. Extra stress tends to make you stress eat and you will start regaining what you have already lost. Just do as your doctor advise you, and start looking for ways to get help to save your home. You got this all you need to do is to activate what you know and put it into action.

Feeling Scared and Needing Reassurance.
sleeved_fit_diva replied to vsg_fairy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Being scared is a natural instinct and no matter how excited people state that they were there is always that moment. The moment that you ask yourself am I doing the right thing. The moment that you think to yourself I hope all of this work out correctly. That moment that you think, pray and hope that I'm not different from everybody else. And mostly you pray that you have the same results that people post about. however once you do it, it will be the best thing that you've ever experience in your life. I got sleeve on August 23rd 2016 and I tell you it is the best decision that I ever made. I can remember laying on the table right before the surgery scared out of my mind. I couldn't wait for the procedure to be over. I am so glad that I didn't let my nerves get the best of me. you will not regret it and welcome to the loser bench and enjoy the ride. I wish that I would have joined the loser bench years ago. Congratulation on your decision to do something positive to prolong your life. Sent from my KIW-L24 using the BariatricPal App -
Sometimes family is your hardest critics, therefore share ur concerns with like minded folks. Those who understand ur struggle. Avoid doing things that involves eating because you know she is trying to sabotage you. Why put yourself in harm way. U have to stay focus on your journey and not worry about the nay sayers Sent from my KIW-L24 using the BariatricPal App

Jealousy is an attribute that is common to all human. Sometimes you might have to search deeper to see what the underline problem is, instead of looking at the surface problem. It is very common that your love one fear being abandoned after the weight your weight loss. It one thing when u struggle together, it becomes a different struggle when changes are happening for you and they are still in the same place. You have to find ways to reassure them that u are not going any where and u are happy with them. I know my husband use to make reference to people who loss the weight and left their spouse. I always explain that these people were not happy when that individual was over weight. find ways to bring him into your weight loss world with eating, exercising, support group, etc... My Weight Loss Journey Today, I’m 51 pounds lighter than I was when I started my weight loss journey in the beginning of 2016. My story is not an instant overnight success. I did take so called magic diet pills and they did not work, try all the fad diets and achieved temporary results. After six years of up and down weigh lost and gain, I decided in March of 2016 to have Bariatric Surgery (the Sleeve). The best birthday gift I could have given myself (life). March was the beginning of this new exciting journey and in the process I changed my expected results and goals from a quick fix, and focus on healthy eating, working out, and dedication to using the tool that I have been given. To sum it up, my weight loss journey over the last six years has been more like a never-ending roller coaster ride. Full of emotions, fad diets, diet pills, mistakes, inconsistencies, fail follow-through, pitfalls, and self-sabotage. Finally, I have reached a small milestone of success, a willingness to committee, and determination, which will eventually fulfil my weight loss goal. I am very happy that I made the decision to live. #healthy lifestyle #tone-body #an improved version of me #healthy mentally and spiritually.
