Hi Elaine! So sorry you've had a rough time but glad to hear things are better. So nice to hear from you. I'm doing well. I'm coming up on my 3 year aniversary in December. A couple of ups and downs with the weight loss but still overall very happy with my results and progress. Funny, I was just thinking about our group a couple of weeks ago. I was at the coffee house on Deer Park Ave where we all met up. Hopefully others are still here and doing well. Would love to get together to swap stories and catch up. Have a great holiday!

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of my surgery. Feeling great not only physically but mentally as well. Still have a way to go but the goal is within sight.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm definitely interested in getting the group together again.

Down about 106#. Sleeved 12/12/16. Looking to lose another 40#. Started at 319. Currently 211. The pics show my progression from August 16, 1, 3, & 6 months post surgery.

I have a bag full of clothes that are in excellent condition. Men's shirts 2x & 3x. (18 & 18.5). Dockers and Lucky jeans. 42, 44, 46, 48, 50 waist. Long island. Let me know if you need/want some or all. I'm willing to meet up if necessary.

I do have those sizes. I can meet you this weekend in the Freeport / Baldwin area.

August 5th is the best date for me. The coffee shop is fine!

6 months post surgery. Hit 2 of my goals today. I'm down 100.2 pounds and got below a 40 waist. (38 down from 52) Still a fair amount of work to do but I'm confident and excited about the rest of the journey. I've adopted an entirely new lifestyle and attitude toward food. Just started my weight training to tone and build what's here. Hope everyone is doing well and I'm looking forward to seeing you guys soon!

Are there any men that are or have experienced hot flashes since getting sleeved? I'm 53 years old. Surgery in December 2016. Down almost 90 pounds. No complications. But the past month or so I've been experiencing occasional hot flashes. They last anywhere from a few minutes to more than an hour. No pattern whatsoever. Anyone?

Just a quick drive by to see how everyone is doing? Been a while. I'm doing well. I'm at my 4 month mark and down 85 pounds so far. Feeling great. It truly changed my life. Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the warmer weather.

14 days ago we were shoveling a foot of snow. Today I'm wandering around in a t-shirt. The awesome part is I'm not self conscious about wearing a t-shirt. Bring on the beach! Lol Enjoy this beautiful day!

I had sciatica for the better part of a year prior to surgery. My surgery was 12/12/16. I'm down 60+ pounds. The sciatica has been gone for more than a month. I was concerned about shoveling the heavy wet snow yesterday. But today I feel great! 0 pain.
