Hi there! I haven't been out here in several years and haven't had a fill in almost 2 years! I am ready to get back on the "band" wagon! I was driving to St Petersburg however thought I would like to find a physician near Davie, Cooper City, Weston, Coconut Creek, etc that will do fills and maybe even accept insurance! My sister found a physician on the West Coast of FL who files insurance forms! Any help greatly appreciated! Send me a private message or reply here...I will try and come back more often. Those of you using Cleveland Clinic in Weston is there only one doctor? I want to call and find out how much. Can someone post a phone number? I can always go to the yellow pages... My sister just went to the St Petersburg place and loved the lady. I hear everyone loves it there. They use flouro which is included in the price but no barrium but they had her drink Water and feel how it went down. I am not certain i am restricted enough because i can still swallow all my Vitamins whole and eat almost anything...just not as much... I am maintaining but not losing..... Advice anyone? I was banded 1/14 and filled 2/29. This has been a month. I guess I should have lost by now?????? I see some live in HOllywood, Pembroke Pines and Weston. I am in Davie. Hey All! I just learned of this site from the Obesity Control Center Forum. That is Dr Ortiz' center in Tijuana, Mexico. I went there Jan 14th for my surgery and just had my first fill 2/29/2008. I got 2.0cc. I just got back this morning. Please feel free to email me at my personal email address anyone that is in this area. I think it would be nice to get together and support each other especially in breaking old eating habits! I went to a restaraunt and I thought I ordered the smallest thing and it was still too much. Do any of the surgeons you are discussing or any of the Fill Centers have flouroscopy around here? I don't want to keep going to TJ or St Petersburg. I hear they have an excellent Fill center there! Will the surgeons fill patients of Dr Ortiz? From reading some of the posts, though, even with the flight to San Diego is sounds cheaper than the local fills!!!
