Rarely. All I get is a four piece nugget from Wendy's. Everything else just seems pointless or gross now. If it has too much breading I don't even want it. If it's greasy, I don't want it. I had it a month ago with no issues and few times before that... Nothing happened. Then again, I guess it depends on the quantity that you're eating and what you're eating. I always buy Chicken Curry and eat so little of it that I have left overs for days. I don't get anything that's fried or have breading all over it. They used the glue on me too. I had Gastric bypass though. I have about six scars. The smaller ones got lighter and aren't noticeable at all, it's just the bigger one that got a little dark. The lighter ones faded after a few months. I haven't really given my scars much thought because they don't bother me. I just think the scars are another story added to my body. I'm on the Depo shot. But I've been using that for years, before I've had the surgery. That works great for me, but I've heard of others using the one you get inside your arm. I was 27 when I was going through the process of getting my surgery done. Although I never got put on the liquid diet pre op, I was on it for 2 weeks post op. My hair did thin out but it wasn't noticeable since my hair was really thick. The only person who did notice it was the guy who styles my hair lol. It has been the same way since August. I just got it cut into a bob last Friday. My only complaints about the whole thing was having nausea for like 2 and a half months. Weaned myself off the Prilosec last month after an endoscopy I've had. The nerves about getting the surgery didn't hit me til I was seconds away from passing out on the operating table lol It does feel like a quick surgery cause one minute, you're in the OR and then the next you're waking up in recovery being asked how much pain you're in and how you're feeling. Just remember, unless you've always had problems with growing it out, hair always grows back. In my opinion, the surgery is worth it. I feel great and I'm off most of my meds. Mashed potatoes... But maybe that's a bad idea right now. It's just something I had besides Greek Yogurt and mashed up bananas and stuff like that. Some people like Hummus. That's pretty good. I was 226 the day of surgery, which was in April. The weight loss started off rapid and stayed that way for 2 months then gradually slowed down. I was 27 on the day of surgery. 28 now. I don't think those things would happen unless they're not keeping up with their vitamins, not brushing their teeth and if they're still trying to overeat. Then again maybe there are other things that would cause excessive vomiting. The only thing I've gone through was diarrhea and constipation. Then nausea. I've had no problems with my teeth. It's not much of a problem for me. I did it by accident one time and nothing happened. That's the only time I've done it. I just choose not to use straws. It can. If you meant the extra water from when you left the hospital. The more hydrated you are, the more things your body will flush out of your system. Can you switch your shifts around so that you get more sleep and maybe get in more water? I was struggling with water intake and the way mine got better is I added Crystal Light to my water. Now I get in 72 ounces or more. I would say add more protein but the amount you get in seems fine. Did you ask your nutritionist about the amount of protein? My taste for sweets has changed. I could care less about them. Tried something I really loved pre-op last week and didn't enjoy them one bit. It was Reese's cups. I don't mess with any type of dessert but I'll make some for others to eat for a party or family gathering. I don't care for fish or red meat. The worst day was the first few days for me after that it wasn't so bad but I have a high pain tolerance and heal pretty fast. After like day 5 I was fine. I was still tired and didn't have much of an appetite but the pain wasn't even there anymore. Everyone's experience with this is different. Who knows, you may not even have that much pain. I went to my PCP about that and they gave me this little multivitamin that I can just swallow whole and not have to chew at all. Problem is, they know the brand and name of the pill but I don't.
