I can lift anything below 10lbs. I read in this booklet they gave me that I'd have to wait six weeks to lift anything heavier. I experienced something similar. I went to the emergency department only to find out I was moderately dehydrated and low on Potassium. I'm almost six weeks out. I wouldn't say I regret it but I do hate the nausea and weakness that comes with it. I had pretty bad migraines before I got the surgery and now I only get them once or twice out of the whole month. I decided to go with Gastric Bypass because I did more research on it and trusted that more than the sleeve. I wanted something that would keep me in check with my junk food problem. Then there's the fact that my surgeon recommended Gastric Bypass over the sleeve. I followed her recommendation because I believe I was in good hands... Why am I always feeling weak? Sometimes it goes away but most of the time it stays. It helps when I eat a little but not by much. I'm also feeling nauseous. I went grocery shopping today and the nausea was as worse as it ever got. On top of the nausea and weakness, I'd feel really hot and nearly pass out til I leaned on the cart. I don't know what's wrong, did I do too much today or is it normal to go through that after I get the surgery? I wish I didn't forget to mention this at my first follow up appointment. She gave me Zantac. I try to get my fluids and protein in but the most ounces I can get in are 24 ounces for the entire day. That's not too much. If anything that's a good thing. I'm two weeks out and I get 12-14 ounces of liquids in per day.

I don't force it. I get in maybe an ounce per hour. Majority of the time it's less because I get full off liquids fast. I drink while sitting up.

I have Lose it.

I'd get chewable vitamins. With other pills I was told that any pill the size of a pea would go down fine. Anything bigger than that, you'd have to crush. But everyone is different with how well they do with pills after surgery. I also got GB. So that may make all the difference if you got the sleeve. Just take it one baby step at a time. It was easy for me to get pills down as long as they weren't too big.

A few days after leaving the hospital.

I'd like to hear how using that turns out for you. [emoji846] I'm looking for healthier ways to cook my food.

I love me some meat. But it seems like I get full off everything, including just chewing gum. I crave meat but I can be full for an hour or two off of some juice and not worry about meat much, although I want to eat some.

I stayed at the hospital for two nights. The day after my surgery I was sleepy, in pain and sore. Not all that hungry, though. The first week, I went from feeling kinda bad to feeling okay. I had problems with feeling weak most days but overcame that feeling. I'm almost two weeks out now.

Almost every day.

Yeah, it's torment. Although my family gotta eat too. They made some things I love over the past week and a half but I told myself I couldn't eat those... [emoji17]

I'm just starting to feel better. The pain went away 6 days post-op. I'm almost two weeks post-op now.
