    Stall at 8 months WTH

I am 8 months and was only getting 100 to 300 calories a day. My PA almost put me on a feeding tube! You definitely need to increase your caloric intake. My NUT told me at least 900 to 1000 calories a day. It should help you. Try eating nuts throughout the day. That's what has helped me. I still can't eat very much. But the nuts definitely help up the calories. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

What all can I count towards liquids

anything liquid counts. Including jello, pudding, popsicles, protein shakes, broth, gravy, etc. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. I am 6 months post op and supposed to be getting about 900 calories, however, I am not even coming close to it. I get anywhere from 270 to about 500 calories (If I am lucky). This even includes the calories from vitamins and supplements. How is everyone hitting their calorie intake goals? Lol, yes I am calculating right. There is no way I could have a shake and eggs for one meal. I get full on just a shake! Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

6 months post op caloric intake

I eat chicken, shrimp, avocado, potatoes, salmon, asparagus, lean ground turkey, eggs, etc. I try to stay away from dairy due lactose intolerance. I am just still very restricted on the amount I can eat obviously. I have tried making myself eat when I am not hungry and feel very nauseous after. Even if it isn't much of anything. I am hoping the NUT can really help with some of this. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

6 months post op caloric intake

As bad as it sounds I try to find foods that are high in calories just to get my intake up, but I can never eat the serving size. Or it is too high in fat. So I don't want to make myself sick because I am one of those people that get dumping syndrome with the sleeve. So I really have to watch what I eat. I can't have very much carbs or anything like that or I get very sick. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

They want me to document what I eat for a month and I go back go back in the 10th and meet with his PA and the NUT. Just seeing what I could get for ideas till then. I just don't eat much because when I do I feel sick. I have meal reminders and everything on my phone, just not hungry. And my portions when I do eat are small. 6 months post op caloric intake

I am not very hungry at all. I don't find myself very thirsty either. I drink maybe 24oz to 32oz daily but not dehydrated at all. I was like that before surgery. Yesterday I only got about 270 calories. The day before was about 340 or so. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

I don't meet my protein goals either. I am supposed to be at 90 grams and don't even come close at all. I meet with a nutritionist next month Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I am so excited to finally be at 195! I still have more to go. Sleeved 10/21/16 SW 257 GW 150 (at least, maybe lower) The pictures are before surgery, 3 months, and current. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. How do you add pictures from the app? I tried doing it and for some reason when I do it it won't let me. Is there something I am missing? I use the attachment icon but it won't let me.

    Eating 2 months after Surgery!

Lol don't feel bad at all. I am barely getting just over 500 calories in and I am just under 5 months out. That includes my vitamins and supplements! I can't even get 30oz of fluid in. (Which I have talked to my surgeon about!) I was barely even able to eat today. I go in for my 6 month follow up next month! Kind of nervous! Hope yours goes better!
  13. I am almost 5 months out. I really think it happens more of us then we let on to be honest. Nobody is perfect! You will get there. It is really hard in the beginning. You are not used to not being able eat whenever you want and the smell of food. I remember. But at the same time and even still there are times I don't even want food. It will get easier.
  14. It is good that you know what you are doing wrong and are willing to start doing what you need to. Nobody needs to judge you or tell you what you need to do. You are doing it on your own. I had the sleeve done. But we all learn from our mistakes. Keep it up and you will do fine. Maybe join a support group if you find the need!

    Migraines

I hope you find some relief. I take preventative meds for mine as I have been diagnosed with 7-8 different headaches and migraines. And now since having the sleeve done I can no longer take Cambia which was the only medication that worked for me. So now it's back to trial and error!
  16. I was sleeved 10/21/16, started at 257 (I am 5'3") just reached 207. I am excited to finally be 50lbs lighter! Haven't been able to reach my protein goals at all. So I have added my shakes back in. Hopefully I can keep the weight coming off!
  17. What all have you been doing to get to where you are now? Just curious.
  18. I have the muscle milk brand. And mix it with almond milk. There is only 2g of sugar per serving. It doesn't taste chalky at all.
  19. I was sleeved 10/21/16 and the last few days I have been getting nauseous almost every time I eat, does anyone else have this problem? I am switching to liquid diet for a day or two to see if it helps and starting over. Any recommendations? psw:257 cw:210 gw:150 Sent from my SM-G935P using the BariatricPal App

    Almost 4 months out

I go to bed with heartburn or get massive heartburn throughout the day. I have been told it can be caused from lack of fluid intake. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

    Almost 4 months out

I am not sure if that it is what it is. I have been going with what my surgeon says. My urine has not been concentrated at all except in the morning. But then it is clear the rest of the day. We have decided to just go that way. I have just recently had to add protein shakes back in because I am not getting my protein in either. I am lucky if I get 500 to 600 calories in lol. I have avoided the hospital though! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
