    Sweets!

To satisfy my craving I'll eat a sugar free Reese's cup, the little one in the bag. It does the trick and I'm good for awhile.

Gain weight during pre op liquid diet?

The pre op diet is to shrink the liver so there is room to get to the stomach.

So many questions no answers :( please help!

With most insurance companies they require this because they want to make sure you make the changes in your life with food. I had to do six months of a supervised diet as well. I gained two pounds and had to do an extra month. Use this time as a learning tool and make the changes you need. It helps in the long run [emoji4]
  5. I do dump unfortunately and it's not fun. Fats make it happen. I stay away from sugar. Don't get me wrong I don't eat fat either, I learned my lesson.

    Progress in the works!

I put on a tshirt that six months ago did not fit. It's a 3X, it swallows me. I was telling my daughter n law that it's just so hard to believe at times all the changes happening.

    Gained weight in pre-op

I had to do an extra month if classes for gaining weight per my insurance. If I didn't lose what I gained then I would have been denied.

    Belly button

    I don't see why not
  15. I haven't had one problem with my bypass. I had it November 2016 and I'm 36 pounds away from losing 100 pounds. It's one of the best decisions I have ever made, wish I wouldn't have had a few years ago.
  16. Milk of magnesia is wonderful.
  17. I was told the same by my dr, however, he explained that sometimes you will get acid reflux sometimes requiring a revision to bypass. One surgery is enough for me so I went with bypass.

Sometime with the sleeve you can develops reflux, sometimes bad enough to need a revision. For that reason I went with bypass. One surgery is enough for me. Also, your insurance may not cover another surgery.

    Condiments?

Walmart has a sugar free sauce that is great. I can't remember the name of it.

    Omeprazole (Prilosec)

I had to take it for six months.

    Omeprazole (Prilosec)

It's prescribed to reduce the acid production in your stomach to help with the healing process. It's not safe to stop it unless your dr tells you too.

Can we use an air fryer?

I have one on the way now! I've heard great stuff about it.

    Dizziness and Heart Rate

If you take BP medicine it's probably time to stop taking it. Go see your PCP for a possible medicine change. I was taken off BP meds after two weeks of having bypass. Sounds like issues with that.
  24. I would say the Gerd. You can control the dumping by not eating the foods that trigger it. Gerd from what I understand, can just happen with the sleeve.
  25. The reflux and needing revision is why I just went with the bypass. One time is enough for me.
