  1. I like the Organic Hellmans. It's been fine on my stomach and I'm 16 days post op. Also the best way to really consume mayo is if you make it yourself. It's fairly easy if u have a food processor. Recipes all over Pinterest. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I think this might be how I will go about it. I don't really get to full on Liquids but solid food and I'm worried I won't get my daily nutritional goals in... Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. How far along are you when was yur surgery ? I started with eggs and crumbled Turkey sausage and that's all I've had room for today. I definately can feel the restriction. I'm actually worried about not being able to get in enough calories when it's time to switch to soft food only. The one thing that is regrettable about the surgery right now is I've totally lost my love of WATER. I drank nothing but Water (and alcohol) over the past couple years and now I have no thirst or want of water. That kinda sucks Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Tattoo Ideas!

  5. Your so smart and informed about this subject that is so important to everybody that has this surgery . Thank you !!!! P.s I really hope yur not blowing smoke up our asses... lol just kidding I believe everything you've said. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Totally agree I'm down -15 lbs since surgery.. I stepped on the scale for the 1st time since my post op appointment 8 days ago and I'm down 15 lbs. I'm just keeping track on Myfitnesspal. I'm taking in about 1200 calories a day. The best part about it is I'm not hungry. I used to take in easily 3k calories and work out for 1 1/2 hrs and lose nothing and still be hungry... Now I'm satisfied too the point of being full on 1200 calories. I'm beyond happy. Today was a an amazing day for me. I had so much energy. Now I'm just relaxing watching the world series and hockey. Losing dedication for surgery.

Check out Jersey Jules on YouTube. Or Jerzy Jules. It's one or the other. It's a very inspiring couple videos. He's a NJ policeman who had the surgery 6 mos ago. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

    This May be crazy, but...

I understand the thought process but if your doing so well with what your doing why stop ?? Your body might not react the way you want it too. If anything maybe just incorporate more fluids. you shouldnt be necessarily punishing yourself with the liquid diet instead celebrate how far youve come and just stay on the same track that has helped you too lose 100+ lbs. The liquid diet is torture to me. Im 12 days post op and I hate it so much

    Hardly eating

Use unsweetened Almond Milk for your dairy and lactose free cottage cheese . There's 2 big things that can help u out. Almond milk tastes better in protein shakes imo Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app

Before and after 4 months post op

Me too had the sleeve on Oct 5th ... how are u doing ?? Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. I'm almost done, im on day 11 but this last week has been very taxing mentally. Post op you can't do much physically and are supposed to stay home and recover. What did most of us do when we sat home ? We ate. That's how we all got here. So strictly liquids for 2 weeks after surgery is so tough. It's worth it too see the scale keep going down but I can't wait to finally get back to regular healthy food I was eating in the months leading up to my surgery on Oct 5th. How did everybody else handle the liquid regime ? Any tips or something too look forward too would be great to hear. As 89hduof now my Starting Weight=280 Surgery Weight=245 Current =232 Goal 180. What Post-Sleeve Rules Do You Break?

This is a great thread. I've drank coffee since day 2 cause my surgeon said it's fine. Today I broke the 2 week liquid only diet and had Cream of Wheat with almond milk and blueberries and I feel full and fine. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Yea ya know what it's funny u say that cause my 1st day back on day 8 i immediately went to chest and thought I'd be able to bench press. I did 1 rep and it did not feel right so I stopped immediately and thought ok no more of anything that has to do with the core until at least a month. So now it's just arms, back and shoulders and chest isolation. My recovery hasn't been bad at all. Almost no pain other than the day I woke up from surgery. Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. I started back in the gym Day 8 and have been in every day since. Dr said no weights but I'm just keeping reps high with low weight and 30 mins of cardio... I feel great I'm continuing what I'm doing. I can't wait till I can actually eat food again. This liquid post op diet for 2 full weeks is the worst. Makes me miserable Sent from my SM-G935T using BariatricPal mobile app
