The first 48-72 hours were so miserable. My mouth was so dry. I had constant aching, gnawing, empty feeling in mid abdomen. I was so nauseous as well. I could hardly take in any fluids after the leak test. I had to stay an extra day in the hospital because of poor intake. After 72 hours, I felt so much better! I am 9 days post op, and was able to get all 64 oz fluids for the first time yesterday. It definitely gets better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
