What does your daily Vitamin regimen consist of? I joined a few DS specific Facebook groups and according to the vets on there, my surgeon and NUT have set me up for failure and/or possible future death. I do the Bariatric Advantage multi ea adek 2x a day and upcal powder 3x a day. I'm also on extra vitamin d and Iron because that was low pre-surgery. Thanks in advance! It's definitely a roller coaster. I am one week post op ds as of today. The first 48-72 hours, there were definitely moments of "wtf did I do to myself", but overall have been feeling better each day. Yesterday was actually the first day I met my Protein and h2o goals since surgery. I've had a little "head hunger" but nothing as bad as the preop liquid diet. I bet your excitement returns soon!! Had my DS late on Tuesday. Still in the hospital due to nausea. Hoping to go home tomorrow. Definitely feeling a bit of "buyers remorse" mostly just due to feeling so poorly. DS scheduled for January 17th. Started my liquid diet yesterday. Had my preop testing done Monday. Saw today that my WBC is slightly elevated, my Vitamin D and Iron are low. I'm not feeling sick at all. My allergies have been super bad though. I am hoping this doesn't cost me my surgery date. Any one else have any blood work issues???? I have been approved for DS surgery that is currently scheduled for January 17th. I have my preop class this Tuesday and my preop testing on January 3rd. Can anyone share their experiences on what they went through for either of those days? I was told to plan for 2 hours for the class and 1 hour for the testing. Tomorrow is #3 of 5 monthly required nutrition appointments. I had lost about 7 pounds when I went in last month but am up 5lbs from last month's weigh in as of this week. Part of it is monthly period gain but also poor pre planning on my part when stuck at kids extracurriculars the last 2 weeks. Will this knock me out of the program?
