I was sleeved on the 28th. I can't get all my liquids in, but I do either eat or drink something every hour. Even if it's a Jello, v8, or popsicle. I'm also tired alot, but I read on here that it takes about 6 months to heal, so maybe that's where the tiredness cones in.. Good luck to you.. Hope you feel better soon. Two questions for the ladies in the forum!
nannare replied to HRHMKB's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know I will eventually have to have a tummy tuck and probably my breast done. I'm a DDD and have always had big breast. I've already told my husband if I go smaller than a D, he has to buy me some more. I would be lost without them. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App -

I did the same thing. Taking that time to prepare yourself. Start your Vitamins and try different Proteins and you'll do great. I haven't had a problem. I'm 3 weeks out and have not wanted any food. That's no cravings or anything. Good luck to you. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App -

Anyone kept their procedure a secret?
nannare replied to FatboyNYC's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I tried to keep mine a secret, just because if something happened and I didn't get, I didn't want people asking why. My daughter started asking for prayers so people started finding out. Afterwards I told a few people and I figured the town gossip would do the rest. My husband didn't want me telling anybody. I have no idea why. I'm excited and don't mind people knowing about it. I took off a week. I can lift My 1yr old granddaughter, take care of my 2 4yr old grandsons, my 9 yr old daughter, and keep the nursery at church. If the kid is more than 20lbs I just don't lift them yet. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App -

I think I had a reaction to the iodine. One week after surgery I woke up with my abdomen itching like crazy, I put on lotion and went on with my day. I actually had my first post op appointment that evening. Doc said everything looked good. That night I got worse, the next day my torso was covered in tiny itchy bumps. Two days of benadryl and finally went and got shots. The only areas were where the iodine touched my skin. It's been 3 weeks and I still have a little itching.. Good luck.
