  3. OHHH MY GOSHHH did I ever have an allergic reaction. I thought my skin was going to burst into FLAMES!!!! I ripped my stereostrips off (LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS A BAD IDEA!!!!) and so I tried to hold my incision together with bandaids and then I had an allergic reaction to band aids. Oh Lord this was sooo bad. So, I called my surgeon. He looked at it, (btw I had tried neosporin, cortisone 10, and or a combination of both. This only made it MUCH WORSE...I even tried benadryl.) At the point I tried benadryl I was on my knees crying out to God it hurt so bad. My surgeon let me come in (how nice of him right?) and then wrote me a prescription for .................. FREAKIN cortisone 10.... I called and said I needed something better, they said they would call it in and then never did. The next day I called my general practitioner who would do anything for me!! He called in a cream called Triamcinolome .1%. I had relief within 12 hours and it was almost gone within 24 hours. (Let me remind you it was fire engine red and I was on my knees crying out to God it hurt so bad!!!) So, it took my incisions about 2 weeks to heal from my mad ripping off and everything turned out fine but let me tell you - I feel your pain! Cut to the chase. Ask for the triamcinolome! Linda surgery 329/11 weeks later 280. p.s. I know I sound crazy here, but the thought of that allergic reaction was pretty bad!!
