That's amazing! I have to be honest, I didn't fully commit to making changes until recently so I haven't lost much (15 lbs). I am determined to make this work though and I am willing to do the work required to make this THE turning point in my health. Good luck with your consult! I will definitely keep in touch. Anybody from north Jersey? I'm in Ramsey. My surgeon is Dr. Eid and I am having surgery Nov. 10 at Hackensack.

Hey NYC Dreamer. I am scheduled for November 10th as well. I also had to wait 6 months. I'm actually glad that I had to wait. It gave me time to prepare mentally. I've read some great books during this time, too. Just finished The Emotional First + Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery by Cynthia L. Alexander.
