Hello All,
I had my surgery on the 20th January, and I'm currently on the last week of the puree diet stage.
The past few days I've been experiencing nausea and weakness through my entire body, but mainly in my arms. I did a little google search with the help of my boyfriend and found that I may have been experiencing symptoms of late dumping syndrome. So I adjusted the amount of time I was waiting between eating and drinking, which I thought to be the problem. This morning, 19 hours after last eating something, I've tried to eat some mushy Weetabix (my usual breakfast during this stage, has never been a problem for me before) and after one teaspoon, I still feel nauseated and can't eat any more. There's no way that this can be dumping syndrome after that long.
I've called my Bariatric Team for advice and I'm waiting on the Dietitian to come back to me, but I wondered if anyone had any advice, or had experienced the same thing?
My FitBit says my heart rate is 65 at the moment, which is about normal for me. If that's useful at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Sam
