  8. Sometimes you have to drop a certain amount from your frame before people take notice. I wouldn't get paranoid about thinking people are talking about you and that you must have got surgery. You're losing weight and feeling great..that's what counts..let the haters hate..Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    At the soft foods stage!

They wanted us walking immediately..30 minutes a day total..didn't have to be all at the same time..gym type exceeded they approved light elliptical, bike after my two week check up for us. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I'm only 9 days post op..there's no way I can get enough protein from food at this point..not sure anybody can which is why they have that recommendation. I'm only eating 2 oz protein at meal time, so I have to supplement. They say minimally 60g but was better to take your weight and half it..that was optimal protein level. So 200 lb person should try and get in 100g protein. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Not sure if you are more than 3 months out or not. My surgical team told us that the first 3 months we needed at minimal 60-90g of Protein supplemented on top of what we ate..to ensure we weren't losing muscle. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I just brought a hair tie and toothbrush and toothpaste and hair brush. I wore loose pants, slip on shoes with good tread and comfie top. I was released the next day. I just wore the clothes I came in in. Brushed my hair and teeth and went back home to recoup. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  15. I've read that it is normal. I'm 9 days out from my sleeve surgery and I'm so tired as well..I'm usually so active that it's hard to adjust to..but I think in time it will get better Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. They're all different. I've never heard of solid food within a week, your doc must be very liberal! They even told us in our last Bootcamp meeting before surgery that as long as it was 'wet'..soaked gravy, ranch whatever that it would be fine to have for Thanksgiving as long as we could tolerate it. She even suggested a deviled egg too. The hurtle was to be drinking 64 oz liquid before starting soft foods..I'm still mostly liquid Protein with shakes, Soups and chili but I am eating soft protein not problem. 17. I was sleeved on the 18th as well..not sure why surgery post diets are so different but my team told me I could have turkey and ham on Thanksgiving. I had it no problems.. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
