So I'm just over 2 weeks post op for sleeve. I'm on mushy foods for another week. I'm going out to dinner think it's ok to have French onion soup minus the cheese? Trying to figure what's on the menu I can have! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

It's so weird how every practice is different with their guidelines. Mine said the only pasta allowed was pastina at this point. -

So I'm 2 weeks post op (sleeve) and I'm on mushy foods. I really have no problem getting down the 4oz my doctor recommends. I even had 5oz of mashed potatoes. Think anything is wrong? Oh and one of the best things to eat is wonton broth with pastina in it...just a little FYI Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

Any Advanced Laparoscopic Peeps?
mallnut replied to mallnut's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I had Dr Eid. Was sleeved on 10/5. At my post op appt which was day 9 he said I could start mushy foods. Was a little nervous since it wasn't the 2 weeks recommended for Clear liquids but it's been fine! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App -
I can't believe you can eat those foods already! My dr has me on Clear liquids for 2 weeks, then mushy for 2 weeks and then I can have stuff like tuna or egg salad. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

I don't quite get why you should NEVER have any of the 'good' foods ever again. I get not having them often but isn't a little bit in moderation ok? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
