  1. I've been doing low carb- so I'll do 2-3oz of steak with some jack cheese on top or some ground sausage with cheese - bacon wrapped smokies ect nearly everything I eat is meat / Protein aside from cheese I don't eat fruit and I'll eat some veggies even with chicken steak ect I can eat s lot Like we went to Olive Garden yesterday and I got three meat balls as my meat and they are fair sized and I ate all three no issue Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm two months post op and I can eat 3-4 ounces no issue at all- no restriction at all- I've never thrown up - never had any weird side effects people say about. No restricted feeling . Anyone else feel this way? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. Why are people's spouses so prone to leaving after WLS. I am about 20 pounds more now than I was when my husband and myself met - He has been so rude and disrespectful towards me lately and I feel like this is centered around weight loss I'm 70osh pounds down (190 weight ) and 2 months post op--- We have been married seven years and have two children together so we aren't exactly newlyweds either . Does it ever stop - will they ever except to the new you- part of me feels like blowing the diet and gaining it back to save my family Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I was 265 at my highest and 223 for surgery I'm coming up on 8 weeks post op and I'm 196 - you got this Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. The dr told me too center was were they went in to lift the liver off the stomach- the one side is where they had the drain exit and placed two stitches to hold the drain- the right is an incision- the scar above my belly button is from having it pierced although there is a small incision inside my belly button they made as well which is where the sucked my stomach out of when I was sleeved- I think sometimes size plays a factor as to how many cuts you get as well- I was 223 at surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. @@erica_ozzy73 I only have three wounds one to the right of my belly one to my left and one below my sternum as well- the one below my sternum was where the liver retractor was- at least that's what my dr told me so nearly everyone should have that one because it's where the liver is lifted for the procedure Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Is it true?

The sleeve doesn't take longer st the hospital I went to however the hospital I went to is a center for excellence and they go well above any regulations- Anything thing to think about is the fact that with the sleeve you have an extremely long staple line which can take some time to do- the hospital I used goes back and does a hand sewn reinforcement over the staple line of the sleeve and hasn't ever had a leak reported in all the years their program has been going on- In bypass you don't have the insanely long staple line where it's critical it be perfect to prevent leaks - however I believe the going back and reinforcing whatever work is done causes the bypass to be longer at the hospital I used - Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
