I just had tomato soup oh my god it was so good, finally something that I like! I was wondering do you could the soup as a liquid when tallying how many oz of liquid you're taking in? My Dr said the protein shakes count toward that so I assume this would too? Also, since soup is a liquid , we shouldn't habe to do the whole no drinking 30 min before or after right? I will call my doctor in a few hours but figured I'd ask here too. I had vsg Tuesday morning, 2 nights ago they had to do a new IV and couldn't get a vein so they attacked me like a pin cushion for nothing. Anyway my arms are a little sore from that but my hands. Especially my left are tingly now, any one else experience this or have any tips to improve the blood flow there ? I walk frequently and have the compression socks on as well. My feet do get tingly too but not constantly. My a.s.s. also goes numb if I sit for long lol. I'm feeling pretty good otherwise , not on pain meds, getting 30ml every 15 to 20 mins as directed . Ok so I'm doing pretty good, I've already walked once with a nurse and 3 times by myself, 3 laps. I didn't get the horrid gas pains that I was preparing myself for. Unless somehow they appear tomorrow which wouldn't make sense. Little sore on top of my stomach but overall other than being REALLY thirsty I don't feel too bad at all Knock on wood! Getting up out of my chair and down into it are getting less and less painful . So far the most pain I had was when they first had me get out of bed . I'm nervous about getting back into it ugh . But so far, so good! I feel so bad for the lady next door , she's miserable and barely walking with a walker. I'm hoping we both wake up tomorrow a little better .
