JerseyGirl2u....Thanks for the support. I did very well. I had the surgery on 5/6. I am still on soft foods, but there was no real pain involved. Yes, I too am somewhat skeptical about everything I read. Reading some of the posts are the reason that I was scared, and in the end, I have to say that it was pretty easy. Either that or I was lucky. Thanks again. I appreciate your input.

Hello everyone. I had my lap band done on 5/6/08. I am back at work, no pain, no complications, frankly, it was a breeze. Looking forward to some weight loss. Hope this is some encouragement for someone who is contemplating or afraid. -

I am a bit nervous. My surgery is scheduled for 5/6. Comments regarding pain after surgery have been quoted from "not as bad as I thought" to "horrible". Any of you have any regrets? -

Dear Froglady, Any regrets or advise. I am scheduled for the lapband on 5/6. Did you spend the night in the hospital? How many days before you could get around without pain?

I am just beginning the process for the lapband. I have gone to the seminar and recently had an appointment with the nurse, dietitian and the physicial therapist. I have an appointment in April with Dr. Posner to discuss and schedulethe surgery. This question goes out to anyone that has already had the surgery.....Do you regret having the surgery?
