Anyone here from CA? Kern County area? I'm waiting to hear from Kern Family Health. Dont know their time frame. It's going on 2 weeks only, but the waiting is difficult.

I also had an abnormal EKG. Had a nuclear stress test and everything was fine. It's good to know information either way. It's also comforting to know some programs are thorough and careful! I had a 3 month eval with my Cardio and all still looks good. I see him again in six months for recheck. Hopefully he won't recognize the "new" me. ????

I had an abnormal EKG, I was referred to a Cardio. I had a stress and ultrasound. The Doc diagnosed a "silent" heart attack. He couldn't pinpoint when though. But he cleared me for surgery. I am 58 4'11 and weigh 300 pounds. I really need this surgery. I am waiting for approval as I write this. I wouldn't worry till there's someting to worry about.

Hello, I am in CA and had my first surgeon appt yesterday, so they sent my file in, I am hoping for a quick approval also. I have Kern Family Health and the nurse said they were pretty good about sending positive approval. Good luck for us all.

Hello all, I am in Kern County CA. Just went for my first appt with the surgeon for the Gastric Sleeve. All went good, so now I wait for approval. I have Kern Family Health Care. Anyone out there know how long they take for approval.
