I’m over a year out now and lost all my weight plus some. Yes it was a good 6 weeks or so . I found that walking helped so much kind of weird because it’s not something you want to do feeling so wiped out. Try it though .

Pregnant almost 3 months out
shareeann replied to Israh's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How do you know that what I suggested might be what she's looking for? , since she's petrified. You act like it's some terrible choice and sometimes it's the best choice. Stop being judgmental . -

Maybe you didn't talk frankly at your classes that you need when you do this surgery . I could have said it differently for sensitive people. -

10 weeks in an nausea all the time? Help
shareeann replied to Heavyduty1966's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Tell her nope we all get that from drinking them. Good news is that it will go away. I'm 9 months out now and kind of enjoy them now in all flavors. They used to make me gag. I think it's the nerves being cut and still healing for a good 6 months that does it. -

I Am About To Make A Year And I Feel Like A Failure
shareeann replied to angeliquita's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Ouch? I didn't mean to sound mean or anything. Its just when we get this surgery and I did 6 months of nutrition/counseling classes before hand it kind of gave me all the tools. You can choose to use them or not. I'm just frank about it I guess. Angekiquita it could be more of a mental thing. My Counselor used to tell people they needed to use the chair more then the surgery. I ended up do both. Trust me it was effortless losing it all but now it isn't, its a mental thing for me tho. Good luck girl you can do it! -

Not sure what is wrong . Do you go by the diet guidelines we are suppose to use for our lifetime? I am 9 month out now I started at 250 also im 5'9 and below my original goal of 165 now I'm 145. I t was effortless really . Since only a few ounces ever fit in my stomach. Maybe go to a group for the eating part to get on track. Kiaser has one . Never give up failures not an option. Hehe that's what I tell myself anyways.
