GiRRRRL Friend you arent Messin Around! I found out yesterday that I was denied on my first attempt for financing,,,,but today I find out that the insurance at my company,,,,that I dont carry,,,,,,does pay for weight loss surgeries,,,,one door closes, and another opens,,,,,,,,GOD IS GOOD -

I was turned down today for my means of financing the lap band, but im not giving up just yet. They told me that my BMI was too low.....IM 39 and they want me to be 55. I think they should re evaluate the need even at 39 with the co morbidity diseases that go along with it -
Is this something he will do for free, or is it another surgery cost?

Oh mY, thank you for the response, I have prayed to be led each step of this journey,. I have had about 5 hurdles to get over and one by one i am seeing them just fall into place. and you have helped my peace of mind greatly with this response. Praise God for the modern technology.....I am so thankful for the opportunity to have another chance at life. I have a few hurdles yet to go before i am approved for surgery, and i had the staple procedure back in the 80's and there just may be too much scar tissue to do the lap band. So i am very much in limbo,....but it is wonderful news that your pain is better. Best wishes to you and reaching your GOAL! Mary....Jacksonville AR. -

I have the burning in my feet and im wondering if after im BANDED, and lose weight,,might that hurtful pain of my burning feet,,GO AWAY.. why all the scar tissue? I had the old timey staple procedure from the 80'S and the scaring is my fear now.....I want it so bad! -
howdyy, i think i will be having my surgery w/ Dr. Luttrell.. The way I am working on financing,,,,i just seem to be leaning in his direction. I went to the seminar this week and he was a delight. I have had the staple procedure back in the 80's and he is encouraging that I am a candidate for the Lap band, Ev en though I have been altered.

i have another meeting on TUES. re: financing,,,,,i hav e all my fingers & toes crossed! I enjoyed the siminar yesterday so much.... It was almost like being with family....we had so much in common.

hey Sunshine gals,,,,, im just in the WANNA DO IT STAGE!!!! Yesterday i was threatening to cut a hole in a sheet for my head and get a jumprope for a belt!!!. I have my first visit with my potential surgeon yesterday,,,, i was on cloud nine today!
